< Ayup 31 >
1 «Men közüm bilen ehdileshken; Shuning üchün men qandaqmu qizlargha hewes qilip köz tashlap yürey?
I made a covenant with mine eyes, and I will not think upon a virgin.
2 Undaq qilsam üstümdiki Tengridin alidighan nésiwem néme bolar? Hemmige qadirdin alidighan mirasim néme bolar?
Now what portion has God given from above? and is there an inheritance [given] of the Mighty One from the highest?
3 Bu gunahning netijisi heqqaniysizlargha bala-qaza emesmu? Qebihlik qilghanlargha külpet emesmu?
Alas! destruction to the unrighteous, and rejection to them that do iniquity.
4 U méning yollirimni körüp turidu emesmu? Herbir qedemlirimni sanap turidu emesmu?
Will he not see my way, and number all my steps?
5 Eger saxtiliqqa hemrah bolup mangghan bolsam’idi! Eger putum aldamchiliq bilen bille bolushqa aldirighan bolsa,
But if I had gone with scorners, and if too my foot has hasted to deceit:
6 (Men adilliq mizanigha qoyulghan bolsam’idi! Undaqta Tengri eyibsizlikimdin xewer alalaytti!)
(for I am weighed in a just balance, and the Lord knows my innocence: )
7 Eger qedimim yoldin chiqqan bolsa, könglüm közümge egiship mangghan bolsa, Eger qolumgha herqandaq dagh chaplashqan bolsa,
if my foot has turned aside out of the way, or if mine heart has followed mine eye, and if too I have touched gifts with my hands;
8 Undaqta men térighanni bashqa birsi yésun! Bixlirim yulunup tashliwétilsun!
then let me sow, and let others eat; and let me be uprooted on the earth.
9 Eger qelbim melum bir ayaldin azdurulghan bolsa, Shu niyette qoshnamning ishik aldida paylap turghan bolsam,
If my heart has gone forth after another man's wife, and if I laid wait at her doors;
10 Öz ayalim bashqilarning tügminini tartidighan kün’ge qalsun, Bashqilar uni ayaq asti qilsun.
then let my wife also please another, and let my children be brought low.
11 Chünki bu esheddiy nomusluq gunahtur; U soraqchilar teripidin jazalinishi kérektur.
For the rage of anger is not to be controlled, [in the case] of defiling [another] man's wife.
12 [Bu gunah] bolsa ademni halak qilghuchi ottur; U méning barliq tapqanlirimni yulup alghan bolatti.
For it is a fire burning on every side, and whoever it attacks, it utterly destroys.
13 Eger qulumning yaki dédikimning manga qarita erzi bolghan bolsa, Ularning dewasini közümge ilmighan bolsam,
And if too I despised the judgment of my servant or [my] handmaid, when they pleaded with me;
14 Undaqta Tengri méni soraqqa tartishqa ornidin turghanda qandaq qilimen? Eger U mendin soal-soraq alimen dep kelse, Men Uninggha qandaq jawab bérimen?
what then shall I do if the Lord should try me? and if also he should at all visit me, can I make an answer?
15 Méni baliyatquda apiride qilghuchi ularnimu apiride qilghan emesmu. Men bilen u ikkimizni anilirimizning baliyatqusida töreldürgüchi bir emesmu?
Were not they too formed as I also was formed in the womb? yes, we were formed in the same womb.
16 Eger miskinlerni öz arzu-ümidliridin tosqan bolsam, Eger tul xotunning köz nurini qarangghulashturghan bolsam,
But the helpless missed not whatever need they had, and I did not cause the eye of the widow to fail.
17 Yaki özümning bir chishlem nénimni yalghuz yégen bolsam, Uni yétim-yésir bilen bille yémigen bolsam
And if too I ate my morsel alone, and did not impart [of it] to the orphan;
18 (Emeliyette yash waqtimdin tartip oghli ata bilen bille bolghandek umu men bilen bille turghanidi, Apamning qorsiqidin chiqqandin tartipla tul xotunning yölenchüki bolup keldim),
(for I nourished [them] as a father from my youth and guided [them] from my mother's womb.)
19 Eger kiyim-kéchek kemlikidin halak bolay dégen birige, Yaki chapansiz bir yoqsulgha qarap olturghan bolsam,
And if too I overlooked the naked as he was perishing, and did not clothe him;
20 Eger uning belliri [kiyimsiz qélip] manga bext tilimigen bolsa, Eger u qozilirimning yungida issinmighan bolsa,
and if the poor did not bless me, and their shoulders were [not] warmed with the fleece of my lambs;
21 Eger sheher derwazisi aldida «[Höküm chiqarghanlar arisida] méning yölenchüküm bar» dep, Yétim-yésirlargha ziyankeshlik qilishqa qol kötürgen bolsam,
if I lifted my hand against an orphan, trusting that my strength was far superior [to his]:
22 Undaqta mürem taghiqidin ajrilip chüshsun! Bilikim ügisidin sunup ketsun!
let them my shoulder start from the blade-bone, and my arm be crushed off from the elbow.
23 Chünki Tengri chüshürgen balayi’apet méni qorqunchqa salmaqta idi, Uning heywitidin undaq ishlarni qet’iy qilalmayttim.
For the fear of the Lord constrained me, and I can’t bear up by reason of his burden.
24 Eger altun’gha ishinip uni öz tayanchim qilghan bolsam, Yaki sap altun’gha: «Yölenchükümsen!» dégen bolsam,
If I made gold my treasure, and if too I trusted the precious stone;
25 Eger bayliqlirim zor bolghanliqidin, Yaki qolum alghan gheniymettin shadlinip ketken bolsam,
and if too I rejoiced when my wealth was abundant, and if too I laid my hand on innumerable [treasures]:
26 Eger men quyashning julasini chachqanliqini körüp, Yaki ayning aydingda mangghanliqini körüp,
(do we not see the shining sun eclipsed, and the moon waning? for they have not [power to continue]: )
27 Könglüm astirtin azdurulghan bolsa, Shundaqla [bulargha choqunup] aghzim qolumni söygen bolsa,
and if my heart was secretly deceived, and if I have laid my hand upon my mouth and kissed it:
28 Bumu soraqchi aldida gunah dep hésablinatti, Chünki shundaq qilghan bolsam men yuqirida turghuchi Tengrige wapasizliq qilghan bolattim.
let this also then be reckoned to me as the greatest iniquity: for I [should] have lied against the Lord Most High.
29 Eger manga nepretlen’gen kishining halakitige qarighinimda shadlinip ketken bolsam, Béshigha külpet chüshkenlikidin xushal bolghan bolsam —
And if too I was glad at the fall of mine enemies, and mine heart said, Aha!
30 (Emeliyette u tügeshsun dep qarghap, uning ölümini tilep aghzimni gunah ötküzüshke yol qoymighanmen)
let then mine ear hear my curse, and let me be a byword among my people in my affliction.
31 Eger chédirimdikiler men toghruluq: «Xojayinimizning dastixinidin yep toyunmighan qéni kim bar?» démigen bolsa,
And if too my handmaids have often said, Oh that we might be satisfied with his flesh; (whereas I was very kind:
32 (Musapirlardin kochida qalghini ezeldin yoqtur; Chünki ishikimni herdaim yoluchilargha échip kelgenmen)
for the stranger did not lodge without, and my door was opened to every one that came: )
33 Eger Adem’atimizdek itaetsizliklirimni yapqan, Qebihlikimni könglümge yoshurghan bolsam,
or if too having sinned unintentionally, I hid my sin;
34 Hemde shuning üchün pütkül xalayiq aldida uning ashkarilinishidin qorqup yürgen bolsam, Jemiyetning kemsitishliri manga wehime qilghan bolsa, Shuning bilen men talagha chiqmay yürgen bolsam, ...
(for I did not stand in awe of a great multitude, so as not to declare boldly before them: ) and if too I permitted a poor man to go out of my door with an empty bosom:
35 — Ah, manga qulaq salghuchi birsi bolsidi! Mana, imzayimni qoyup bérey; Hemmige Qadir manga jawab bersun! Reqibim méning üstümdin erz yazsun!
(Oh that I had a hearer, ) and if I had not feared the hand of the Lord; and [as to] the written charge which I had against any one,
36 Shu erzni zimmemge artattim emesmu? Choqum tajlardek béshimgha kiyiwalattim.
I would place [it] as a chaplet on my shoulders, and read it.
37 Men Uninggha qedemlirimning pütün sanini hésablap bérettim; Shahzadidek men Uning aldigha barattim.
And if I did not read it and return it, having taken nothing from the debtor:
38 Eger öz étizlirim manga qarshi guwah bolup chuqan kötürse, Uning chünekliri bilen birge yighlashsa,
If at any time the land groaned against me, and if its furrows mourned together;
39 Chünki chiqarghan méwisini heq tölimey yégen bolsam, Höddigerlerni halsizlandurup nepisini toxtatqan bolsam,
and if I ate its strength alone without price, and if I too grieved the heart of the owner of the soil, by taking [anything] from [him]:
40 Undaqta bughdayning ornida shumbuya össun! Arpining ornida mestek össun. Mana shuning bilen [men] Ayupning sözliri tamam wessalam!»
then let the nettle come up to me instead of wheat, and a bramble instead of barley. And Job ceased speaking.
