< Ayup 15 >
1 Témanliq Élifaz buninggha jawaben mundaq dédi: —
And Eliphaz the Themanite, answered, and said:
2 Danishmen kishining quruq shamaldek sepsete bilen jawab bérishi toghrimu? [Danishmen] qorsiqini issiq meshriq shamili bilen toyghuzsa bolamdu?
Will a wise man answer as if he were speaking in the wind, and fill his stomach with burning heat?
3 Paydisiz sözler bilen, Tayini yoq gepler bilen munazirilishishi muwapiqmu?
Thou reprovest him by words, who is not equal to thee, and thou speakest that which is not good for thee.
4 Berheq, sen iman-ixlasni yoq qiliwetmekchisen, Xudaning aldida dua-istiqametke tosalghu bolisen.
As much as is in thee, thou hast made void fear, and hast taken away prayers from before God.
5 Chünki qebihliking aghzinggha söz salidu, Sen mekkarlarning tilini tallap qollinisen.
For thy iniquity hath taught thy mouth, and thou imitatest the tongue of blasphemers.
6 Men emes, belki öz aghzing özüngning gunahingni békitidu, Öz lewliring sanga qarshi guwahliq béridu.
Thy own mouth shall condemn thee, and not I: and thy own lips shall answer thee.
7 Sen insanlar ichide tunji bolup tughulghanmu? Sen tagh-dawanlardin awwal apiride bolghanmu?
Art thou the first man that was born, or wast thou made before the hills?
8 Tengrining mexpiy kéngishini anglap kelgenmusen? Danaliq sen bilenla cheklinemdu?
Hast thou heard God’s counsel, and shall his wisdom be inferior to thee?
9 Sen bilgenlerni bizning bilmeydighanlirimiz barmu? Sen chüshen’genni bizning chüshenmeydighinimiz barmu?
What knowest thou that we are ignorant of? what dost thou understand that we know not?
10 Aqsaqallar hem qérilar bizning teripimizde turidu, Ular séning atangdinmu yashta chongdur.
There are with us also aged and ancient men, much elder than thy fathers.
11 Tengrining teselliliri, Yeni sanga mulayimliq bilen éytqan mushu söz sen üchün azliq qilamdu?
Is it a great matter that God should comfort thee? but thy wicked words hinder this.
12 Némishqa köngülning keynige kirip kétisen? Közüngni némige parqiritisen?
Why doth thy heart elevate thee, and why dost thou stare with thy eyes, as if they were thinking great things?
13 Shundaq qilip sen rohingni Tengrige qarshi turghuzdung, Éghizingdin shundaq sözlerning chiqishigha yol qoyuwatisen!
Why doth thy spirit swell against God, to utter such words out of thy mouth?
14 Insan néme idi? Öz-özini pakliyalighudek? Anidin tughulghan adem balisi néme idi? Heqqaniy bolalighudek?
What is man that he should be without spot, and he that is born of a woman that he should appear just?
15 Qara, [Xuda] Öz muqeddeslirigimu ishenmigen yerde, Asmanlarmu uning neziride pak bolmighan yerde,
Behold among his saints none is unchangeable, and the heavens are not pure in his sight.
16 Yirginchlik bolghan, sésip ketken, Qebihlikni su ichkendek ichidighan insan balisi zadi qandaq bolar?
How much more is man abominable, and unprofitable, who drinketh iniquity like water?
17 Men sanga körsitey, manga qulaq sal; Közüm körgenni bayan qilmaqchimen.
I will shew thee, hear me: and I will tell thee what I have seen.
18 Danishmenler ata-bowiliridin bularni anglighan, Yoshurmay bularni bayan qilghan: —
Wise men confess and hide not their fathers.
19 (Peqet shularghila, [yeni ata-bowilirighila] yer-zémin tapshurulghanidi, Ularning arisidin yat adem ötüshke pétinalmaytti)
To whom alone the earth was given, and no stranger hath passed among them.
20 — Rezil adem barliq künliride azablinidu, Zalim kishige yillar sanaqliqla békitilgendur.
The wicked man is proud all his days, and the number of the years of his tyranny is uncertain.
21 Uning quliqigha wehimilerning awazi kiridu, Bayashatliqida bulangchi uning ustige bésip chüshidu.
The sound of dread is always in his ears: and when there is peace, he always suspecteth treason.
22 Qarangghuluqtin qutulushqa uning közi yetmeydu, U qilich bilen chépilishqa saqlan’ghandur.
He believeth not that he may return from darkness to light, looking round about for the sword on every side.
23 U ash izdep: «Zadi nedin tépilar?» dep yolda ténep yüridu, U zulmet künining uninggha yéqinlashqanliqini bilidu.
When he moveth himself to seek bread, he knoweth that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.
24 Derd-elem hem azab uninggha wehime qilidu, Hujumgha teyyar bolghan padishahtek uning üstidin ghelibe qilidu.
Tribulation shall terrify him, and distress shall surround him, as a king that is prepared for the battle.
25 Chünki u Tengrige qarshi qolini kötürgen, Hemmige qadirgha küch körsetmekchi bolghan,
For he hath stretched out his hand against God, and hath strengthened himself against the Almighty.
26 Shunga u boynini qattiq qilip, Köp qewetlik qalqanni kötürüp uninggha qarap étilidu.
He hath run against him with his neck raised up, and is armed with a fat neck.
27 Yüzini yagh basqan bolsimu, Béqinliri semrep ketken bolsimu,
Fatness hath covered his face, and the fat hangeth down on his sides.
28 U xarabe sheherlerde, Adem qon’ghusi kelmeydighan, Kések düwiliri bolushqa békitilgen öylerde yashaydu;
He hath dwelt in desolate cities, and in desert houses that are reduced into heaps.
29 U héch béyimaydu, Uning mal-mülki bolsa üzülüp qalidu, Uning teelluqatliri zémin üstide kéngeymeydu.
He shall not be enriched, neither shall his substance continue, neither shall he push his root in the earth.
30 U qarangghuluqtin qéchip qutulalmaydu, Yalqun uning shaxlirini köydürüp qurutidu, [Xudaning] bir nepisi bilen u [dunyadin] kétidu.
He shall not depart out of darkness: the flame shall dry up his branches, and he shall be taken away by the breath of his own month.
31 U saxtiliqqa tayanmisun! U aldinip ketken, shunga saxtiliqning özi uning in’ami bolidu;
He shall not believe, being vainly deceived by error, that he may be redeemed with any price.
32 Uning küni téxi toshmay turupla, Uning shéxi téxi kökirip bolmayla, bu ishlar emelge ashurulidu.
Before his days be full he shall perish: and his hands shall wither away.
33 Üzüm téli silkinip, tong üzümler chüshürüwétilgendek, Zeytun derixining chéchiki échilipla tökülüp ketkendek bolidu.
He shall be blasted as a vine when its grapes are in the first flower, and as an olive tree that casteth its flower.
34 Chünki iplaslarning jemeti tughmas bolidu, Ot para yégenlerning chédirlirini köydüriwétidu.
For the congregation of the hypocrite is barren, and fire shall devour their tabernacles, who love to take bribes.
35 [Biraq] ular [herdaim] yamanliqni oylap, qebihlik tughduridu, Könglide haman hiyle-mikir teyyarlaydu.
He hath conceived sorrow, and hath brought forth iniquity, and his womb prepareth deceits.
