< Yaqup 4 >

1 Aranglardiki urush we majiralar nedin kélip chiqidu? Bu del ten ezaliringlar ichide jeng qiliwatqan arzu-hewesliringlardin emesmu?
Where do wars and fights among you come from? Do they not come from your passions that wage war among your members?
2 Siler arzu-hewes qilisiler, lékin arzu-hewesliringlargha érishmeysiler; adem olturisiler, heset qilisiler, lékin érishelmeysiler; jédel-majira chiqirip jeng qilisiler. Érishmeysiler, chünki tilimeysiler.
You desire but do not have. You murder and are jealous but cannot obtain what you want. You fight and war. You do not have, because you do not ask.
3 Tilisenglarmu érishelmeysiler, chünki öz arzu-hewesliringlarni qandurush üchün rezil niyetler bilen tileysiler.
You ask and do not receive because you ask wrongly, so that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.
4 Ey zinaxorlar! Bu dunya bilen dostlishishning emeliyette Xuda bilen düshmenlishish ikenlikini bilmemtinglar? Kimdikim bu dunyani dost tutmaqchi bolsa, özini Xudaning düshmini qilidu.
Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
5 Muqeddes yazmilarda: «[Xuda] qelbimizge makan qildurghan Roh nachar arzu-heweslerni qilamdu?» dégen söz silerche bikar déyilgenmu?
Or do you think that the Scripture speaks in vain? The spirit that dwells in us desires to the point of envy,
6 Lékin [Xuda] bergen méhir-shepqet buningdin üstün turidu. Shuning tüpeylidin muqeddes yazmilarda: «Xuda tekebburlargha qarshidur, lékin mömin-kemterlerge shepqet qilidu» dep yézilghandur.
but God gives greater grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
7 Shuning üchün, Xudagha boysununglar. Sheytan’gha qarshi turunglar; [shundaq qilsanglar] u silerdin qachidu.
Submit yourselves therefore to God, but resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Xudagha yéqinlishinglar, Xudamu silerge yéqinlishidu. Ey gunahkarlar, [gunahtin] qolunglarni yuyunglar; ey üjme köngüller, qelbinglarni pak qilinglar.
Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
9 [Gunahliringlargha] qayghu-hesret chékinglar, haza tutup yighlanglar, külkenglarni matemge, xushalliqinglarni qayghugha aylandurunglar.
Grieve, mourn, and weep. Turn your laughter into mourning, and your joy into gloom.
10 Rebning aldida özünglarni töwen tutunglar we shundaq qilghanda U silerni üstün qilidu.
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
11 I qérindashlar, bir-biringlarni sökmenglar. Kimdikim qérindishini sökse yaki uning üstidin höküm qilsa, Tewrat qanuninimu sökken we uning üstidin höküm qilghan bolidu. Shundaq qilip qanun üstidin [toghra-natoghra dep] höküm qilsang, qanun’gha emel qilghuchi emes, belki özüngni [uning üstidin] höküm qilghuchi qiliwalghan bolisen.
Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. He who speaks evil against a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. Now if yoʋ judge the law, yoʋ are not a doer of the law but a judge.
12 Qutquzushqa we halak qilishqa qadir bolghan, qanun Tüzgüchi we höküm Qilghuchi peqet birdur! Shundaq iken, sen bashqilar üstidin höküm qilghudek zadi kimsen?
There is only one lawgiver—he who is able to save and destroy. But who are yoʋ to judge another?
13 Hey, «Bügün yaki ete palani-püküni sheherge barimiz, u yerde bir yil turup, tijaret qilip payda tapimiz» dégüchiler buninggha qulaq sélinglar!
Come now, you who say, “Today and tomorrow let us go to such and such a city, spend a year there, trade, and make a profit.”
14 Ey ete néme bolidighanliqini bilmeydighanlar, hayatinglar némige oxshaydu? U xuddi ghil-pal peyda bolup yoqap kétidighan bir parche tuman, xalas.
You do not know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? It is a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.
15 Buning ornigha, «Reb buyrusa, hayat bolsaq, uni qilimiz, buni qilimiz» déyishinglar kérek.
Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, let us live and do this or that.”
16 Lékin emdi siler hazir undaq yoghan gepliringlar bilen maxtinisiler. Bundaq maxtinishlarning hemmisi rezil ishtur.
But as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil.
17 Shuningdek kimdikim melum yaxshi ishni qilishqa tégishlik dep bilip turup qilmighan bolsa, gunah qilghan bolidu.
So whoever knows the right thing to do and does not do it, for him it is sin.
