< Ester 4 >
1 Mordikay boluwatqan ishlardin xewer tapqandin kéyin éginlirini yirtip, üstige böz artip, we usti-béshigha kül chéchip, sheherning otturisigha chiqip nahayiti qattiq we elemlik peryad kötürdi.
When Mordecai learned all that had been done, he tore his clothes and put on sackcloth and strewed ashes on his head, and went out into the city and raised a loud and bitter cry of lamentation.
2 U orda derwazisi aldigha kélip toxtap qaldi; chünki boz yépin’ghan herqandaq ademning orda derwazisidin kirishige ruxset yoq idi.
He went as far as the king’s gate, but no one could enter the gate clothed with sackcloth.
3 Padishahning emri we yarliqi yetküzülgen herqaysi ölkilerde Yehudiylar arisida qattiq nale-peryad kötürüldi; ular roza tutup, köz yéshi qilip, yigha-zar qildi; nurghun kishiler boz yépinip külde éghinap yétishti.
In every province, wherever the king’s command and decree went, there was great mourning, fasting, weeping, and wailing among the Jews. Many of them sat in sackcloth and ashes.
4 Esterning xizmitide bolghan dédekliri we heremaghiliri bu ishni uninggha éytiwidi, xanishning köngli intayin éghir boldi; Mordikayning bozni tashlap, kiyiwélishigha kiyim-kéchek chiqartip berdi, lékin Mordikay qobul qilmidi.
When Esther’s maids and attendants told her about Mordecai’s behaviour, she was greatly troubled. She sent garments for Mordecai to put on, so that he could take off his sack-cloth, but he would not accept them.
5 Shuning bilen Ester özining xizmitide bolushqa padishah teyinlep ewetken heremaghiliridin Hataq isimlik birini chaqirip, uni Mordikayning qéshigha bérip, bu ishning zadi qandaq ish ikenlikini, néme sewebtin boluwatqanliqini ting-tinglap kélishke ewetti.
So Esther called Hathach, one of the king’s eunuchs whom he had appointed to attend her, and ordered him to go to Mordecai to learn what it all meant and the reason for it.
6 Shuning bilen Hataq orda derwazisi aldidiki meydan’gha kélip Mordikay bilen körüshti.
So Hathach went out to Mordecai, to the city square in front of the king’s gate.
7 Mordikay béshigha kelgen hemme ishni, Haman Yehudiylarning neslini qurutuwétish üchün padishahning xezinilirige tapshurushqa wede qilghan kümüshning sanini qaldurmay éytip berdi.
Mordecai told him all that had happened to him and the exact amount of money that Haman had promised to pay into the king’s treasury for the destruction of the Jews.
8 Mordikay yene Hataqqa Shushanda jakarlan’ghan, Yehudiylarni yoqitish toghrisidiki yarliqning köchürmisini Esterning körüp béqishigha yetküzüp bérishke tapshurdi hemde uninggha Esterge ehwalni chüshendürüp, ordigha kirip padishah bilen körüshüp öz xelqi üchün padishahtin ötünüp iltija qilip béqishqa ündeshni tapilidi.
Also he gave him a copy of the decree to destroy them, that had been published in Susa, to show to Esther for her information. He also told her to go to the king and implore his mercy and to plead with him in behalf of her people.
9 Hataq qaytip kélip Mordikayning geplirini Esterge yetküzdi.
When Hathach came and told Esther what Mordecai had said,
10 Ester Hataqqa Mordikaygha éytidighan geplerni tapshurup, uni Mordikayning yénigha yene ewetti: —
she instructed Hathach to go and say to Mordecai,
11 «Padishahning barliq xizmetkarliri we herqaysi ölke xelqliri, meyli er bolsun ayal bolsun, chaqirtilmay turup ichki hoyligha, padishahning huzurigha öz meyliche kirse, padishah uninggha iltipat körsitip altun hasisini tenglep ölümdim kechürüm qilmisa, undaqta u kishige nisbeten béshigha chüshidighan birla qanun-belgilime bardur: — u ölüm jazasini tartidu. Hazir méning padishah bilen körüshüshke chaqirtilmighinimgha ottuz kün boldi».
‘All the king’s courtiers and the people of the king’s provinces know that for every man or woman who goes to the king into the inner court without being called there is one penalty, death, unless the king holds out the golden sceptre signifying that they may live. It has been thirty days since I have been called to go in to the king.’
12 Esterning sözliri Mordikaygha yetküzülüwidi,
When Mordecai was told what Esther had said,
13 Mordikay munu geplerni Esterge yetküzüshni hawale qildi: — «Sen könglüngde men ordida yashawatimen, shunga barliq bashqa Yehudiylardin bixeter bolup qutulimen, dep xiyal eylime.
he sent back this reply to Esther, ‘Don’t imagine that you alone of all the Jews will escape because you belong to the king’s household.
14 Eger bu chaghda sen jim turuwalsang, Yehudiylargha bashqa tereptin medet we nijat chiqishi mumkin; lékin u chaghda sen öz ata jemeting bilen qoshulup yoqitilisen. Kim bilsun, séning xanishliq mertiwisige érishkining del bügünki mushundaq peyt üchün bolghanmu?».
If you persist in remaining silent at this time, relief and deliverance will come to the Jews from another quarter, but you and your family will perish. Who knows? Maybe you have been raised to the throne for a time like this!’
15 Ester Mordikaygha mundaq dep jawab qayturdi: —
Then Esther sent this message to Mordecai:
16 «Sen bérip, Shushandiki barliq Yehudiylarni yighqin; méning üchün roza tutup, üch kéche-kündüz héch yémenglar, héch ichmenglar; men hem dédeklirimmu shundaq roza tutimiz. Andin kéyin men qanun’gha xilapliq qilip padishahning huzurigha kirimen, manga ölüm kelse, öley!».
‘Go, gather all the Jews in Susa and fast for me. Don’t eat nor drink anything for three days and nights. My maids and I will fast as well. Then I will go in to the king, although it is contrary to the law, and if I die, I die.’
17 Shuning bilen Mordikay u yerdin kétip, Esterning tapilighinidek qildi.
Mordecai did everything Esther had directed.
