1 Biz qutulup saq-salamet qirghaqqa chiqqandin kéyin, u aralning Malta dep atilidighanliqini bilduq.
And when they were safe on shore, they understood, that the island was called Melita.
2 Yerlik xelq bizge intayin méhribanliq bilen muamile qildi; chünki u chaghda yamghur yéghip, hawa soghuq bolghachqa, ular gülxan yéqip bizni kütüwaldi.
And the barbarians shewed us uncommon humanity: for they kindled a fire and took us all in, because of the present rain, and of the cold.

And Paul having gathered together a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came out a viper from the heat, and fastened on his hand.

And when the barbarians saw the venomous creature hanging on his hand, they said to one another, This man is certainly a murderer, whom, though he hath been saved from the sea, yet justice suffereth not to live.
5 Lékin Pawlus yilanni otning ichige silkip atti, özi bolsa héchqandaq zexim yémidi.
But he shook off the creature into the fire, and suffered no hurt.
6 Xelq uninggha bedini ishship kétidu yaki u tuyuqsiz yiqilip ölidu dep qarap turatti. Lékin uzun waqit qarap turup, uningda héchqandaq binormal haletning bolmighanliqini körüp, oylighinidin yénip: — Bu bir ilah bolsa kérek! — déyishti.
They however were expecting that he would swell, or suddenly fall down dead: but when they had waited a good while, and saw no hurt come to him, they changed their opinion and said that he was a god.
7 U yerning etrapidiki yurtta, aral bashliqi (Publiyus dep atalghan)ning birnechche yer-étizliri bar idi. U bizni öyige bashlap, üch kün qizghin méhman qilip kütti.
Now in the parts adjacent to this place was the seat of the chief man of the island, whose name was Publius, who took us into his house, and entertained us three days courteously.
8 U chaghda shundaq boldiki, Publiyusning atisining qizitmisi örlep, tolghaq bolup yétip qalghaniken. Pawlus uning yénigha kirip, dua qilip üstige qolini tegküzüp, uni saqaytip qoydi.
And it happened that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and dysentery: to whom Paul went in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.
9 Shuningdin kéyin araldiki qalghan késellerning hemmisi uning aldigha kélip, saqaytildi.
Upon this, others also in the island, who had diseases came to him and were cured:
10 Ular bizning hörmitimizge nurghun sowghatlarni béghishlighan bolup, axirda bu yerdin yene yolgha chiqqan waqtimizda, bizni yolgha lazimliq nerse-kérekler bilen teminlidi.
who also honoured us with many honors, and furnished us, when we departed, with such things as were necessary.
11 Malta arilida Iskenderiyedin kelgen, béshigha «Samawiy Qoshkézek» ilahlirining neqishliri oyulghan bir kéme qishlighanidi. Aralda üch ay turghandin kéyin, bu kéme bilen yolgha chiqtuq.
And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria, that had wintered in the island, whose sign was Castor and Pollux.
12 Sirakoza shehirige kélip, u yerde üch kün turduq.
And being arrived at Syracuse, we staid there three days.
13 Andin aylinip méngip, [Italiyediki] Régiyum shehirige kelduq. Etisi shamal yönilishi özgirip jenubtin chiqishi bilen, ikkinchi küni Putéoli shehirige yétip kelduq.
From whence coasting round we came to Rhegium, and after one day a south-wind rising, we came the second day to Puteoli:

where finding some brethren, we were desired to stay with them seven days: and so we went on to Rome.
15 Kéliwatqanliqimizdin xewer tapqan shu yerdiki qérindashlar bizni qarshi élish üchün sheherdin chiqip hetta «Apiyus baziri»ghiche, [beziliri] «Üch Saray»ghiche kelgenidi. Pawlus ularni körgende, Xudagha rehmet éytip, gheyretlendi.
And when the brethren heard of us, they came from thence to meet us, some as far as Appii-forum, and others to the Three-taverns: whom when Paul saw, he thanked God and took courage.

And when we came to Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard: but Paul was permitted to live by himself with the soldier that had him in custody.
17 Üch kündin kéyin, u u yerdiki Yehudiylarning kattiwashlirini özi bilen körüshüshke chaqirdi. Ular jem bolghanda, u mundaq dédi: — Qérindashlar! Men xelqimizge yaki ata-bowilirimizdin qaldurulghan örp-adetlerge qarshi héchqandaq ish qilmighan bolsammu, Yérusalémda turghinimda tutqun qilinip rimliqlarning qoligha tapshuruldum.
And after three days Paul called together the chief of the Jews. And when they were come together, he said unto them, Brethren, though I have done nothing against the people of the Jews, or the customs of our fathers, yet was I delivered a prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans:
18 Rimliqlar méni soraqqa tartip, mende ölüm jazasigha mehkum qilghudek birer jinayet bolmighachqa, méni qoyuwetmekchi boldi.
who when they had examined me, would have set me at liberty, because there was no crime worthy of death found in me:
19 Lékin Yehudiylar buninggha qarshiliq bildürgechke, Qeyserge murajiet qilishqa mejbur boldum. Bularni déginim bilen, bu méning öz xelqim üstidin shikayitim bar dégenlikim emes.
but the Jews opposing it, I was obliged to appeal to Cesar; though not as having any thing to accuse my nation of.
20 Shu sewebtin men siler bilen yüz körüshüsh we bu heqte silerge éytish üchün silerni bu yerge chaqirdim. Chünki bu zenjir bilen baghlinishning sewebi del Israilning kütken ümididur.
For this reason therefore I desired to see and to speak to you: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.
21 Ular Pawlusqa: — Biz bolsaq Yehudiyedin sen toghruluq xet almiduq, yaki u yerdin kelgen qérindashlarning héchqaysisimu sen toghruluq birer yaman xewer ekelmidi yaki yaman gépingni qilmidi.
And they said to him, We have neither received letters concerning thee from Judea, nor has any of the brethren, that is come hither, related or spoken any ill of thee.
22 Lékin séning pikirliringni anglighumiz bar. Chünki hemme yerde kishilerning [sen tewe bolghan] bu mezhepke qarshi sözlewatqanliqidin xewirimiz bar! — déyishti.
But we would willingly hear from thee what thou thinkest: for as to this sect, we know that it is every where spoken against.
23 Shuning bilen ular Pawlus bilen körüshüshke bir künni békitti. U küni nurghun kishiler uning turalghusigha kelgenidi; u tang atqandin kechkiche ulargha [söz-kalamni] sherhlep, Xudaning padishahliqi heqqide toluq guwahliq bérip, Tewrat hem peyghemberlerning yazmiliridin neqil keltürüp, ularni Eysa toghruluq qayil qilishqa küchidi.
And having appointed him a day, many came to him at his lodging; to whom he discoursed and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them of the things concerning Jesus, both from the law of Moses, and from the prophets, from morning till evening.
24 Uning sözlirige beziler ishendürüldi, beziler ishinishni ret qildi.
And some regarded the things that were spoken, but others did not believe.
25 Ular Pawlusning mundaq bir sözni qilishi bilen özara kélishelmey qaytip ketti. U mundaq dédi: — Muqeddes Roh Yeshaya peyghember arqiliq ata-bowilirimizgha munu sözni del jayida éytqan:
And so disagreeing one with another they separated, when Paul had said one word, to wit, that the holy Spirit spake rightly by Esaias the prophet to our fathers,
26 — «Barghin; mushu xelqqe mundaq dep éytqin: — «Siler anglashni anglaysiler, biraq chüshenmeysiler; Körüshni körüsiler, biraq bilip yetmeysiler.
saying, Go to this people and say, Ye shall hear by the hearing of the ear, and not understand; and in seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: for the heart of this people is stupified,
27 Chünki mushu xelqning yürikini may qaplap ketken, Ular anglighanda qulaqlirini éghir qiliwalghan, Ular közlirini yumuwalghan; Undaq bolmisidi, ular közliri bilen körüp, Quliqi bilen anglap, Köngli bilen chüshinip, Öz yolidin yandurulushi bilen, Men ularni saqaytqan bolattim»».
and they hear heavily with their ears, and have closed their eyes; least they should see at all with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
28 Shunga bilishinglar kérekki, Xudaning bu nijatliqi yat elliklerge ewetiliwatidu. Ular bolsa uninggha qulaq salmay qalmaydu! — dédi. U bu sözlerni éytqanda Yehudiylar öz-ara qattiq talash-tartish qiliship ketti.
Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent to the Gentiles, and they will hear it.
And when he had said these things, the Jews departed, having much debate among themselves.
30 [Pawlus] özi ijarige alghan öyde toluq ikki yil turdi we bu yerde uning bilen körüshüshke kelgen hemme kishilerni qobul qilip,
And Paul abode two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came to him:
31 tolimu yüreklik bilen hem héch tosalghugha uchrimay, Xudaning padishahliqini jar qilip, Reb Eysa Mesihke dair heqiqetlerni yetküzüp telim berdi.
preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching the things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ, with all freedom, none forbidding him.
