< Padishahlar 2 6 >

1 Peyghemberlerning shagirtliri Élishagha: — Mana bizge séning aldingda turuwatqan yérimiz tar keldi.
The sons of the prophets said to Elisha, “See now, the place where we live and meet with you is too small for us.
2 Iordan deryasining boyigha bérip, herbirimiz birdin yaghach élip, shu yerde turidighan’gha bir turalghu öy yasayli, — dédi. — Béringlar, dep jawab berdi u.
Please let us go to the Jordan, and each man take a beam from there, and let’s make us a place there, where we may live.” He answered, “Go!”
3 Ularning biri yene: — Iltipat qilip qeminiliring bilen birge barghin, dédi. U: — Bille baray, dédi.
One said, “Please be pleased to go with your servants.” He answered, “I will go.”
4 U ular bilen mangdi. Ular Iordan deryasigha bérip, derex késishke bashlidi.
So he went with them. When they came to the Jordan, they cut down wood.
5 Lékin ularning biri derex késiwatqanda paltining béshi sugha chüshüp ketti. U warqirap: — Way ghojam, bu ötne alghan palta idi, dédi.
But as one was cutting down a tree, the ax head fell into the water. Then he cried out and said, “Alas, my master! For it was borrowed.”
6 Xudaning adimi: Nege chüshti, dep soridi. U chüshken yerni körsitip berdi. U bir shaxni késip, uni sugha tashliwidi, Paltining béshi leylep chiqti.
The man of God asked, “Where did it fall?” He showed him the place. He cut down a stick, threw it in there, and made the iron float.
7 U: Uni qolunggha alghin, déwidi, u kishi qolini uzutup uni tutuwaldi.
He said, “Take it.” So he put out his hand and took it.
8 Suriyening padishahi Israil bilen jeng qiliwatatti. U öz xizmetkarliri bilen meslihetliship, palanchi-pokunchi yerde bargah tikimen, dep békitetti.
Now the king of Syria was at war against Israel; and he took counsel with his servants, saying, “My camp will be in such and such a place.”
9 Xudaning adimi Israilning padishahigha xewer ewitip: — Sen palanchi-pokunchi yerge bérishtin éhtiyat qilghin, chünki Suriyler u yerge chüshmekchi, dédi.
The man of God sent to the king of Israel, saying, “Beware that you not pass this place, for the Syrians are coming down there.”
10 U waqitlarda Israilning padishahi Xudaning adimi özige körsetken jaygha adem ewetip u yerdiki ademlirige éhtiyat qilishni agahlandurdi. Bundaq ish birqanche qétim boldi.
The king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of; and he saved himself there, not once or twice.
11 Buning sewebidin Suriyening padishahi könglide qattiq achchiqlinip, öz xizmetkarlirini chaqirip ulardin: — Arimizdin kimning Israilning padishahi teripide turidighanliqini manga körsitip bermemsiler?! — dep soridi.
The king of Syria’s heart was very troubled about this. He called his servants, and said to them, “Will not you show me which of us is for the king of Israel?”
12 Lékin xizmetkarlirining biri: — I ghojam padishah undaq emes; belki Israilda turidighan Élisha dégen peyghember sen yatqan hujrangda qilghan sözliringni Israil padishahigha éytip béridu, — dédi.
One of his servants said, “No, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.”
13 U: Bérip uning nede ikenlikini paylap kélinglar, men adem mangdurup uni tutup kéley, dédi. Ular: — U Dotan shehiride iken, dep xewer qildi.
He said, “Go and see where he is, that I may send and get him.” He was told, “Behold, he is in Dothan.”
14 Shuning bilen u shu yerge atliqlar, jeng harwiliri we zor bir qoshunni mangdurdi. Ular kéchisi yétip kélip sheherni qorshiwaldi.
Therefore he sent horses, chariots, and a great army there. They came by night and surrounded the city.
15 Xudaning adimining maliyi seherde turup chiqsa, mana, bir atliqlar we jeng harwiliri qoshuni sheherni qorshiwalghanidi. Malay uninggha: Apla, i ghojam, qandaq qilarmiz? — dédi.
When the servant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was around the city. His servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?”
16 Lékin u: Qorqmighin; mana biz bilen birge bolghanlar ular bilen birge bolghanlardin köptur, dédi.
He answered, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
17 Emdi Élisha dua qilip: I Perwerdigar, malayimning közlirini köreleydighan qilip achqaysen, dédi. U waqitta Perwerdigar yigitning közlirini achti we u eyni ehwalni kördi; mana, pütkül tagh Élishani chöridep turghan yalqunluq at we jeng harwiliri bilen tolghanidi.
Elisha prayed, and said, “LORD, please open his eyes, that he may see.” the LORD opened the young man’s eyes, and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire around Elisha.
18 Suriyler chüshüp u terepke kelgende, Élisha Perwerdigargha dua qilip: Bu xelqni korluq bilen urghin, dédi. Shuning bilen U Élishaning tiliki boyiche ularni korluq bilen urdi.
When they came down to him, Elisha prayed to the LORD, and said, “Please strike this people with blindness.” He struck them with blindness according to Elisha’s word.
19 Élisha ulargha: Bu [siler izdigen] yol emes we [siler izdigen] sheher emes; méning keynimdin egishinglar, silerni siler izdigen ademning qéshigha bashlap baray, dep ularni Samariyege bashlap bardi.
Elisha said to them, “This is not the way, neither is this the city. Follow me, and I will bring you to the man whom you seek.” He led them to Samaria.
20 We shundaq boldiki, ular Samariyege kirgende Élisha: I Perwerdigar, ularning közlirini köreleydighan qilip achqaysen, dédi. Perwerdigar ularning közlirini achti; we mana, ular Samariyening otturisida turatti.
When they had come into Samaria, Elisha said, “LORD, open these men’s eyes, that they may see.” The LORD opened their eyes, and they saw; and behold, they were in the middle of Samaria.
21 Israilning padishahi ularni körgende Élishadin: I atam, ularni öltürüwéteymu? Ularni öltürüwéteymu? dep soridi.
The king of Israel said to Elisha, when he saw them, “My father, shall I strike them? Shall I strike them?”
22 U: — Sen ularni öltürme; hetta özüng qilich we oqyaying bilen esir qilghanliringni öltürmeydighan yerde, bularni öltürüshke bolamti? Eksiche, ularning aldigha nan, su qoyghin; shuning bilen ular yep-ichip öz ghojisigha yénip ketsun, dédi.
He answered, “You shall not strike them. Would you strike those whom you have taken captive with your sword and with your bow? Set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink, then go to their master.”
23 Shundaq qilip, u ulargha chong ziyapet berdi; ular yep-ichip bolghandin kéyin, andin ularni yolgha saldi. Ular ghojisining yénigha qaytti. Shuningdin kéyin Suriyedin bulangchilar shaykiliri Israilning zéminigha qayta bésip kirmidi.
He prepared a great feast for them. After they ate and drank, he sent them away and they went to their master. So the bands of Syria stopped raiding the land of Israel.
24 Kéyin shundaq boldiki, Suriyening padishahi Ben-Hadad pütkül qoshunini yighip Samariyeni muhasirige aldi.
After this, Benhadad king of Syria gathered all his army, and went up and besieged Samaria.
25 Shuning bilen Samariyede zor acharchiliq boldi. Ular uni shunche uzun qamal qildiki, bir éshek béshi seksen shekel kümüshke, we kepter mayiqining bir chinisining töttin biri besh shekel kümüshke yaraytti.
There was a great famine in Samaria. Behold, they besieged it until a donkey’s head was sold for eighty pieces of silver, and the fourth part of a kab of dove’s dung for five pieces of silver.
26 Israilning padishahi sépilning üstidin ötkende, bir ayal uninggha: I ghojam padishah, yardem bergine! dep peryad kötürdi.
As the king of Israel was passing by on the wall, a woman cried to him, saying, “Help, my lord, O king!”
27 U: Eger Perwerdigar sanga yardem bermise, men sanga qandaq yardem qilay? Ya xamandin ya üzüm kölchikidin yardem tépilamdu?, — dédi.
He said, “If the LORD does not help you, where could I get help for you? From the threshing floor, or from the wine press?”
28 Padishah emdi uningdin yene: Néme derding bar? dep soridi. U: Mana bu xotun manga: Oghlungni bergin, biz uni bügün yeyli. Ete bolsa méning oghlumni yeymiz, dédi.
Then the king asked her, “What is your problem?” She answered, “This woman said to me, ‘Give your son, that we may eat him today, and we will eat my son tomorrow.’
29 U waqitta biz méning oghlumni qaynitip pishurup yéduq. Etisi men uninggha: Emdi sen oghlungni bergin, uni yeyli désem, u öz oghlini yoshurup qoydi, — dédi.
So we boiled my son and ate him; and I said to her on the next day, ‘Give up your son, that we may eat him;’ and she has hidden her son.”
30 Padishah ayalning sözini anglap kiyimlirini yirtip-yirtiwetti. U sépilda kétiwatqanda, xelq uning kiyimining ichige, yeni étige böz kiygenlikini körüp qaldi.
When the king heard the words of the woman, he tore his clothes. Now he was passing by on the wall, and the people looked, and behold, he had sackcloth underneath on his body.
31 [Padishah]: — Eger Shafatning oghli Élishaning béshi bügün ténide qalsa, Xuda méning béshimni alsun we uningdinmu artuq jazalisun! — dédi.
Then he said, “God do so to me, and more also, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat stays on him today.”
32 Emma Élisha öz öyide olturatti; aqsaqallarmu uning bilen bille olturghanidi. Padishah uning aldigha bir ademni mangdurghanidi. Lékin u xewerchi u yerge yétip barmayla, Élisha aqsaqallargha: — Mana bu jallatning balisining béshimni alghili adem mangdurghanliqini kördünglarmu? Emdi xewerchi kelgende ishikni ching taqap ichidin tiriwélinglar. Mana uning keynidin kelgen ghojisining qedimining awazi angliniwatmamdu? — dédi.
But Elisha was sitting in his house, and the elders were sitting with him. Then the king sent a man from before him; but before the messenger came to him, he said to the elders, “Do you see how this son of a murderer has sent to take away my head? Behold, when the messenger comes, shut the door, and hold the door shut against him. Is not the sound of his master’s feet behind him?”
33 U ular bilen sözlishiwatqanda, mana xewerchi uning qéshigha chüshüp kélip: «Padishah: «Mana bu balayi’apetning özi Perwerdigar teripidin keldi; men zadi néme dep Perwerdigargha yene ümid baghliyalarmen?» deydu, dédi.
While he was still talking with them, behold, the messenger came down to him. Then he said, “Behold, this evil is from the LORD. Why should I wait for the LORD any longer?”
