1 «Жуқириға чиқиш нахшиси» Әгәр биз тәрәптә турғини Пәрвәрдигар болмиған болса, — Аһ, Исраил шундақ десун —

2 Биз тәрәптә турғини Пәрвәрдигар болмиған болса, Кишиләр бизгә һуҗумға қозғалғанда,

If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men came up against us;

3 Уларниң ғәзиви бизгә туташқанда, — Шу чағда улар бизни тирик жутуветәтти;

They would have made a meal of us while still living, in the heat of their wrath against us:

4 [Шу чағда] сулар бизни ғәриқ қиливетәтти; Кәлкүн бешимиздин өтәтти;

We would have been covered by the waters; the streams would have gone over our soul;

5 Давалғуған сулар бешимиздин өтәтти!

Yes, the waters of pride would have gone over our soul.

6 Пәрвәрдигарға тәшәккүр-мәдһийә болғай! Уларниң чишлириға ов болушқа бизни қоюп бәрмиди.

Praise be to the Lord, who has not let us be wounded by their teeth.

7 Җенимиз тутқучиларниң басмиқидин қечип чиққан қуштәк қачти; Басмақ сундурулуп, биз қачтуқ!

Our soul has gone free like a bird out of the net of those who would take her: the net is broken, and we are free.

8 Еришкән ярдимимиз Пәрвәрдигарниң намидидур, Асман-зимин Яратқучиниң намидидур!
