Пәнд-несиһәтләр 6
1 И оғлум, әгәр достуңға борун болған болсаң, Ят кишиниң қәрзини төләшкә қол беришип вәдә бәргән болсаң,
My sonne, if thou be surety for thy neighbour, and hast striken hands with the stranger,
2 Әгәр өз сөзүңдин илинған болсаң, Өз вәдәң билән бағлинип қалсаң,
Thou art snared with the wordes of thy mouth: thou art euen taken with the woordes of thine owne mouth.
3 У йеқиниңниң қолиға чүшкәнлигиң үчүн, Амал қилип өзүңни униңдин қутқуз — Дәрһал йеқиниңниң йениға берип, өзүңни кәмтәр тутуп [шу иштин] халий қилишини өтүнүп сора.
Doe this nowe, my sonne, and deliuer thy selfe: seeing thou art come into the hande of thy neighbour, goe, and humble thy selfe, and sollicite thy friends.
4 Җәрән шикарчиниң қолидин қутулушқа тиришқандәк, Қуш овчиниң қолидин чиқишқа тиришқандәк, Қутулмиғичә ухлап ятма, Һәтта үгдәп арамму алма.
Giue no sleepe to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids.
Deliuer thy selfe as a doe from the hande of the hunter, and as a birde from the hande of the fouler.
6 И һорун, чөмүлиниң йениға берип [униңдин үгән], Униң тирикчилик йоллириға қарап дана бол.
Goe to the pismire, O sluggarde: beholde her waies, and be wise.
7 Уларниң башлиғи, әмәлдари, һөкүмдари йоқ болсиму,
For shee hauing no guide, gouernour, nor ruler,
8 Лекин улар язда жилниң еһтияҗи үчүн аш топливалиду, Һосул пәслидә озуқ тәйярливалиду.
Prepareth her meat in the sommer, and gathereth her foode in haruest.
9 И һорун, қачанғичә ухлап ятисән? Қачан орнуңдин турисән?
Howe long wilt thou sleepe, O sluggarde? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleepe?
10 Сән: — Бирдәм көз жумувалай, бирдәм ухливалай, Бирдәм қолумни қоштуруп йетивалай, — дәйсән.
Yet a litle sleepe, a litle slumber, a litle folding of the hands to sleepe.
11 Лекин ухлап ятқанда, мискинлик қарақчидәк келип сени басиду, Йоқсуллуқ худди қураллиқ булаңчидәк һуҗумға өтиду.
Therefore thy pouertie commeth as one that trauaileth by the way, and thy necessitie like an armed man.
12 Әрзимәс, пәйли бузуқ адәм һәммила йәрдә ялған ейтип, пәсликни сөзләйду.
The vnthriftie man and the wicked man walketh with a froward mouth.
13 У көз қисип, Путлири билән ишарә қилип, Бармақлири билән көрситиду;
He maketh a signe with his eyes: he signifieth with his feete: he instructeth with his fingers.
14 Көңлидә алдамчилиқла ятиду, У дайим рәзилликниң койида болиду, Һәммила йәрдә җедәл-маҗира терийду.
Lewde things are in his heart: he imagineth euill at all times, and raiseth vp contentions.
15 Шуңа униңға бекитилгән балаю-қаза уни туюқсиз басиду, У бирақла давалиғусиз янҗилиду.
Therefore shall his destruction come speedily: hee shall be destroyed suddenly without recouerie.
16 Пәрвәрдигар нәпрәтлинидиған алтә нәрсә бар, Бәрһәқ, йәттә нәрсә Униңға жиркиничликтур.
These sixe things doeth the Lord hate: yea, his soule abhorreth seuen:
17 Улар болса, Тәкәббурлуқ билән қарайдиған көз, Ялған сөзләйдиған тил, Бигуналарниң қенини төкүзидиған қол,
The hautie eyes, a lying tongue, and the hands that shed innocent blood,
18 Сүйқәст ойлайдиған көңүл, Яманлиқ қилишқа тез жүгүрәйдиған путлар,
An heart that imagineth wicked enterprises, feete that be swift in running to mischiefe,
19 Ялған сөзләйдиған сахта гувачи, Бурадәр-қериндашлири арисиға бөлгүнчилик салғучи кишидур.
A false witnesse that speaketh lyes, and him that rayseth vp contentions among brethren.
20 И оғлум, атаңниң әмригә әмәл қил; Анаңниң көрсәтмисидин чиқма.
My sonne, keepe thy fathers commandement, and forsake not thy mothers instruction.
21 Уларниң сөзини қәлбиңгә теңип, Уларни бойнуңға марҗандәк қилип есивал.
Binde them alway vpon thine heart, and tye them about thy necke.
22 Йолға чиққиниңда улар сени йетәкләйду, Ухлиғиниңда улар сени сақлайду, Уйқидин ойғанғиниңда улар сени хәвәрләндүриду.
It shall leade thee, when thou walkest: it shall watch for thee, when thou sleepest, and when thou wakest, it shall talke with thee.
23 Чүнки [Худаниң] пәрмани йоруқ чирақ, Униң муқәддәс қануни нурдур; Тәрбийәниң тәнбиһлири болса һаятлиқ йолидур.
For the commandement is a lanterne, and instruction a light: and corrections for instruction are the way of life,
24 Улар сени бузуқ хотундин сақлиғучи, Ят хотунниң шерин сөзлиридин жирақ қилғучидур.
To keepe thee from the wicked woman, and from ye flatterie of ye tongue of a strange woman.
25 Униң гузәллигигә көңлүңни бағлимиғин, Униң қаш-көз ойнитиши сени әсиргә алмисун.
Desire not her beautie in thine heart, neither let her take thee with her eye lids.
26 Чүнки бузуқ аяллар түпәйлидин адәмләр бир парчә нанғиму зар болиду, Ят адәмниң [зинахор] аяли болса кишиниң қиммәтлик җенини өзигә ов қиливалиду.
For because of the whorish woman a man is brought to a morsell of bread, and a woman wil hunt for the precious life of a man.
27 Отни қойнуңға салсаң, Өз кийимиңни көйдүрмәмсән?
Can a man take fire in his bosome, and his clothes not be burnt?
28 Чоғниң үстидә дәссәп маңсаң путуңни көйдүрмәмсән?
Or can a man go vpon coales, and his feete not be burnt?
29 Башқиларниң аяли билән бир орунда ятидиған киши шундақ болиду; Ким униңға тегип кәтсә ақивитидин қутулалмайду.
So he that goeth in to his neighbours wife, shall not be innocent, whosoeuer toucheth her.
30 Ач қалғанда қосиғини тойғузуш үчүн оғрилиқ қилған кишини башқилар кәмситмәйду;
Men do not despise a thiefe, when he stealeth, to satisfie his soule, because he is hungrie.
31 Шундақ туруқлуқ у тутулуп қалса, Егисигә йәттини төләшкә тоғра келиду; У өз өйидики һәммә нәрсисини тапшуриду.
But if he be founde, he shall restore seuen folde, or he shall giue all the substance of his house.
32 Һалбуки, башқиларниң хотуни билән зина қилғучи униңдинму [бәттәр болуп], толиму ғәпләтликтур; Ундақ қилғучи өз-өзини һалак қилиду.
But he that committeth adulterie with a woman, he is destitute of vnderstanding: he that doeth it, destroyeth his owne soule.
33 У зәхмәт йәйду, шәрмәндә болиду, Униң рәсваси һеч өчүрүлмәйду.
He shall finde a wounde and dishonour, and his reproch shall neuer be put away.
34 Чүнки күнләш оти әрни дәрғәзәпкә кәлтүриду, Интиқам алған күнидә у һеч рәһим қилмайду.
For ielousie is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance.
35 Төләм пули берәй десәңму у қобул қилмайду, Һәр қанчә соға-салам бәрсәңму уни бесиқтурғили болмайду.
He cannot beare the sight of any raunsome: neither will he consent, though thou augment the giftes.
