Пәнд-несиһәтләр 29
1 Қайта-қайта әйиплинип туруп йәнә бойни қаттиқлиқ қилған киши, Туюқсиздин давалиғусиз янҗилар.
He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and without remedy.
2 Һәққанийлар гүлләнсә, пухралири шатлинар, Қәбиһләр һоқуқ тутса пухра налә-пәряд көтирәр.
When the righteous increase, the people rejoice; but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
3 Даналиқни сөйгән оғул атисини хуш қилар; Бирақ паһишиләргә һәмраһ болған униң мал-мүлкини бузуп-чачар.
Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father; but he that is a companion of harlots destroyeth [his] substance.
4 Падиша адаләт билән жутини тинич қилар; Бирақ баҗ-селиқ салған болса, уни вәйран қилар.
A king by just judgment establisheth the land; but he that taketh gifts overthroweth it.
5 Өз йеқиниға хушамәт қилған киши, Униң путлириға тор тәйярлап қойғандур.
A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his steps.
6 Рәзил адәмниң гунайи өзигә қапқан ясап қурар; Бирақ һәққаний киши нахшилар билән шатлинар.
In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare; but the righteous shall sing and rejoice.
7 Һәққаний киши мискинниң дәвасиға көңүл бөлүр; Бирақ яманлар болса бу ишни чүшәнмәс.
The righteous taketh knowledge of the cause of the poor; the wicked understandeth not knowledge.
8 Һакавур кишиләр шәһәрни қутритип давалғутар; Бирақ ақиланиләр аччиқ ғәзәпләрни яндурар.
Scornful men set the city in a flame; but the wise turn away anger.
9 Дана киши ахмақ билән дәвалашса, Ахмақ һүрпийиду яки күлиду, нәтиҗиси һаман течлиқ болмас.
If a wise man contendeth with a fool, whether he rage or laugh, [he] hath no rest.
10 Қанхорлар пак-диянәтликләргә нәпрәтлинәр; Дурусларниң җенини болса, улар қәстләр.
The bloodthirsty hate the perfect, but the upright care for his soul.
11 Ахмақ һәрдайим ичидики һәммини ашкарә қилар; Бирақ дана өзини бесивалар.
A fool uttereth all his mind; but a wise [man] keepeth it back.
12 Һөкүмдар ялған сөзләргә қулақ салса, Униң барлиқ хизмәткарлири яман үгәнмәй қалмас.
If a ruler hearken to lying words, all his servants are wicked.
13 Гадай билән уни әзгүчи киши бир зиминда яшар; Һәр иккисиниң көзини нурландурғучи Пәрвәрдигардур.
The indigent and the oppressor meet together; Jehovah lighteneth the eyes of them both.
14 Йоқсулларни диянәт билән сориған падишаниң болса, Тәхти мәңгүгә мәһкәм турар.
A king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever.
15 Таяқ билән тәнбиһ-несиһәт балиларға даналиқ йәткүзәр; Бирақ өз мәйлигә қоюп берилгән бала анисини хиҗаләткә қалдурар.
The rod and reproof give wisdom; but a child left [to himself] bringeth his mother to shame.
16 Яманлар гүллинип кәтсә, наһәқлик көпийәр; Лекин һәққанийлар уларниң жиқилғинини көрәр.
When the wicked increase, transgression increaseth; but the righteous shall see their fall.
17 Оғлуңни тәрбәлисәң, у сени арам тапқузар; У көңлүңни сөйүндүрәр.
Chasten thy son, and he shall give thee rest, and shall give delight unto thy soul.
18 [Пәрвәрдигарниң] вәһийси болмиған әлниң пухралири йолдин чиқип башпанаһсиз қалар; Лекин Тәврат-қануниға әмәл қилидиған киши бәхитликтур.
Where there is no vision the people cast off restraint; but happy is he that keepeth the law.
19 Қулни сөз биләнла түзәткили болмас; У сөзүңни чүшәнгән болсиму, етивар қилмас.
A servant is not corrected by words: he understandeth indeed, but he will not answer.
20 Ағзини басалмайдиған кишини көргәнму? Униңдин үмүт күткәндин, ахмақтин үмүт күтүш әвзәлдур.
Hast thou seen a man hasty in his words? there is more hope of a fool than of him.
21 Кимки өз қулини кичигидин тартип өз мәйлигә қоюп бәрсә, Күнләрниң биридә униң бешиға чиқар.
He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child, shall in the end have him as a son.
22 Териккәк киши җедәл-маҗира қозғап турар; Асан аччиқлинидиған кишиниң гуналири көптур.
An angry man exciteth contention; and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.
23 Мәғрурлуқ кишини пәс қилар, Бирақ кәмтәрлик кишини һөрмәткә ериштүрәр.
A man's pride bringeth him low; but the humble in spirit shall obtain honour.
24 Оғри билән шерик болған киши өз җениға дүшмәндур; У сорақчиниң [гува беришкә] агаһландурушини аңлисиму, лекин раст гәп қилишқа петиналмас.
Whoso shareth with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth the adjuration, and declareth not.
25 Инсан балисидин қорқуш адәмни қапқанқа чүшүриду; Бирақ кимки Пәрвәрдигарға таянған болса, у бехәтәр көтириләр.
The fear of man bringeth a snare; but whoso putteth his confidence in Jehovah is protected.
26 Көп кишиләр һөкүмдардин илтипат издәп жүрәр; Бирақ адәмниң һәқ-рисқи пәқәт Пәрвәрдигарниңла қолидидур.
Many seek the ruler's face; but a man's right judgment is from Jehovah.
27 Наһәқләр һәққанийларға жиркиничликтур; Дурус йолда маңған кишиләр яманларға жиркиничликтур.
An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous; and he that is of upright way is an abomination to the wicked [man].
