1 Яманлар һеч ким қоғлимисиму қачар; Бирақ һәққанийлар шир жүрәк батур келәр.
The wicked flee when no man pursueth; but the righteous are bold as a lion.
2 Жутта гуналар көпәйсә, униң әмирлири көп алмишар, Лекин уни сориғучи йорутулған вә билимлик болса, жут аман-муқим узун турар.
By the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof; but by a man of understanding [and] of knowledge, [its] stability is prolonged.
3 Мискинләргә зулум селиватқан бир кәмбәғәл, Худди [зираәтләрни] ятқузуп денини қоймайдиған қара ямғурға охшайду.
A poor man who oppresseth the helpless is a sweeping rain which leaveth no food.
4 Тәврат қанунидин ваз кәчкәнләр яманларни яхши дәп махтар; Бирақ қанунни тутқучилар уларға қарши күрәш қилар.
They that forsake the law praise the wicked; but such as keep the law contend with them.
5 Рәзилләр адаләтни чүшәнмәс; Бирақ Пәрвәрдигарни издигүчиләр һәммә ишни чүшинәр.
Evil men understand not judgment; but they that seek Jehovah understand everything.
6 Пәзиләтлик йолда маңған мискин киши, Сахта, икки йүзлимә бай адәмдин яхшидур.
Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse, double in ways, though he be rich.
7 Тәврат-қануниға итаәт қилған жигит әқиллиқ оғулдур; Бирақ нан қепиларға һәмраһ болғучи атисини номусқа қалдурар.
Whoso observeth the law is a son that hath understanding; but he that is a companion of profligates bringeth shame to his father.
8 Җазанихорлуқ қилип жуқури өсүм арқилиқ байлиқлар тапқан киши, Ахирида буларни мискинләргә хәйрихаһлиқ қилғучиниң қолиға өткүзүш үчүн топлиғандур.
He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance gathereth it for him that is gracious to the poor.
9 Кимки Тәврат-қанунини аңлимаймән дәп қулиқини йопурса, Һәтта дуалириму ләнити болуп қалар.
He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.
10 Кимки дурусларни яман йолға аздурса, Өзи колиған орисиға өзи чүшәр; Бирақ пак-диянәтлик адәм яхшилиққа мирасхор болар.
Whoso causeth the upright to go astray in an evil way, shall himself fall into his own pit; but the perfect shall inherit good.
11 Бай дәрвәқә өзини дана санар; Бирақ йорутулған мискин уни һаман көрүп йетәр.
A rich man is wise in his own eyes; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.
12 Һәққанийлар ғаливийәтлик болса, Җаһанни тәнтәнә қаплар; Бирақ яманлар мәртивигә чиқса, халайиқ өзлирини қачурар.
When the righteous triumph, there is great glory; but when the wicked rise, men conceal themselves.
13 Өз гуналирини йошурған киши ронақ тапмас; Бирақ уларни тонуп иқрар қилип, улардин ваз кәчкән киши рәһим-шәпқәткә еришәр.
He that covereth his transgressions shall not prosper; but whoso confesseth and forsaketh [them] shall obtain mercy.
14 [Пәрвәрдигардин] һәрдайим қорқуп жүргән киши шунчә бәхитликтур! Бирақ көңлини таш қилған балаю-апәткә қалар.
Happy is the man that feareth always; but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into evil.
15 Һөкирәп турған шир, Яки [овни издәп] кезиватқан ейиқ қандақ болса, Йоқсул пухраларниң үстидики рәзил һакимму шундақтур.
A roaring lion, and a ranging bear, is a wicked ruler over a poor people.
16 Йорутулмиған әмир һаман зор бир залим болуп чиқар, Бирақ һарам байлиқларға нәпрәтләнсә, тәхтидә узун олтирар.
The prince void of intelligence is also a great oppressor: he that hateth covetousness shall prolong [his] days.
17 Қан төккән киши қәриз билән һаңға қарап жүгүрәр; Уни һеч ким тосмисун!
A man laden with the blood of [any] person, fleeth to the pit: let no man stay him.
18 Сәмимий, диянәтлик йолда маңған қутулар; Икки йолда маңған сахта киши уларниң биридә һаман жиқилип чүшәр.
Whoso walketh in integrity shall be saved; but he that is perverted in [his] double ways, shall fall in one [of them].
19 Өз йеригә тиришип ишлигән деханниң нени йетип ашар; Бирақ бекар жүрүп хам хиялларни қоғлиған кишиниң йоқсуллуғи мол болар!
He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread; but he that followeth the worthless shall have poverty enough.
20 Растчил кишиниң бәхити көпийәр; Бирақ бай болушқа алдириған киши җазадин қечип қутулалмас.
A faithful man aboundeth with blessings; but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.
21 Биригә ян бесиш қәтъий болмас; Чүнки бәзиләр һәтта бир бурда нан үчүнму гуна өткүзәр.
To have respect of persons is not good; but for a piece of bread will a man transgress.
22 Нәпси тоймас киши байлиқларни көзләп алдирайду, У намратлиқниң өз бешиға чүшидиғинидин бехәвәрдур.
He that hath an evil eye hasteth after wealth, and knoweth not that poverty shall come upon him.
23 Башқиларниң хаталиқини очуқ әйиплигән киши, Һаман хушамәт қилғучиға қариғанда көпрәк илтипат тапар.
He that rebuketh a man shall afterwards find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.
24 Ата-анисиниң тәәллуқатини оғрилап, «Бу һеч қандақ гуна әмәс» дегән киши, Һалак қилғучиниң шеригидур.
Whoso robbeth his father and his mother, and saith, It is no transgression, the same is the companion of a destroyer.
25 Нәпси тоймиғур киши җедәл-маҗира терийду; Бирақ Пәрвәрдигарға таянған киши әтлинәр.
He that is puffed up in soul exciteth contention; but he that relieth upon Jehovah shall be made fat.
26 Өзиниң көңлигә ишәнгән киши ахмақтур; Бирақ даналиқ билән маңған ниҗат тапар.
He that confideth in his own heart is a fool; but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.
27 Намратларға хәйрхаһлиқ қилидиған киши муһтаҗлиқ тартмас; Лекин һаҗәтмәнни көрсиму көрмәскә салған киши көплигән қарғишқа учрар.
He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack; but he that withdraweth his eyes shall have many a curse.
28 Яманлар мәртивигә чиқса, халайиқ өзлирини қачурар; Лекин улар завал тапса, һәққанийлар раваҗ тапар.
When the wicked rise, men hide themselves; but when they perish, the righteous increase.
