1 Әтики күнүң тоғрилиқ махтанма, Чүнки бир күни немә болидиғиниңниму билмәйсән.
Do not boast about tomorrow; for you do not know what a day may bring forth.
2 Сени башқилар махтисун, өз ағзиң мундақ қилмисун, Ят адәм сени махтисун, өз ләвлириң ундақ қилмисун.
Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips.
3 Таш еғир, қум хелә җиң басар, Бирақ ахмақ кәлтүридиған хапичилиқ иккисидин техиму еғирдур.
A stone is heavy, and sand is a burden; but a fool's provocation is heavier than both.
4 Ғәзәп рәһимсиздур, Қәһр болса кәлкүндәк адәмни еқитип кетәр, Бирақ ким һәсәтхорлуқ алдида тақабил туралисун?
Wrath is cruel, and anger is overwhelming; but who is able to stand before jealousy?
5 Ашкарә әйипләш йошурун муһәббәттин әладур.
Better is open rebuke than hidden love.
6 Достниң қолидин йегән зәхимләр садиқлиқтин болиду; Бирақ дүшмәнниң сөйүшлири һейлигәрликтур.
Faithful are the wounds of a friend; although the kisses of an enemy are profuse.
7 Тоқ киши һәсәл көнигидинму бизардур, Ач кишигә һәр қандақ аччиқ нәрсиму татлиқ билинәр.
A full soul loathes a honeycomb; but to a hungry soul, every bitter thing is sweet.
8 Жут маканидин айрилған киши, Угисидин айрилип жүргән қушқа охшар.
As a bird that wanders from her nest, so is a man who wanders from his home.
9 Әтир вә хушбуй көңүлни ачар, Җан көйәр достниң сәмимий мәслиһәти кишини риғбәтләндүрәр. Җан көйәр достниң сәмимий, хушхуй мәслиһәти кишини хуш қилур.
Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart; so does earnest counsel from a man's friend.
10 Өз достуңни, атаңниң достиниму унтума; Бешиңға күн чүшкәндә қериндишиңниң өйигә кирип йелинма; Йеқиндики дост, жирақтики қериндаштин әла.
Do not forsake your friend and your father's friend. Do not go to your brother's house in the day of your disaster: better is a neighbor who is near than a distant brother.
11 И оғлум, дана бол, көңлүмни хуш қил, Шундақ қилғиниңда мени мәсқирә қилидиғанларға җавап берәләймән.
Be wise, my son, and bring joy to my heart, then I can answer my tormentor.
12 Зерәк киши балайиқазани алдин көрүп қачар; Саддилар алдиға берип зиян тартар.
A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it.
13 Ятқа кепил болған кишидин қәризгә тонини тутуп алғин; Ят хотунға капаләт бәргән кишидин капаләт пули ал.
Take his garment when he puts up collateral for a stranger. Hold it for a wayward woman.
14 Қақ сәһәрдә туруп, жуқури авазда достиға бәхит тилигәнлик, Өзини қарғаш һесаплинар.
He who blesses his neighbor with a loud voice early in the morning, it will be taken as a curse by him.
15 Ямғурлуқ күндики тохтимай чүшкән тамчә-тамчә йеғин, Вә соқушқақ хотун бир-биригә охшаштур.
A continual dropping on a rainy day and a contentious wife are alike:
16 Уни тизгәнләш боранни тосқанға, Яки яғни оң қол билән чаңгаллиғанға охшаштур.
restraining her is like restraining the wind, or like grasping oil in his right hand.
17 Төмүрни төмүргә билисә өткүрләшкәндәк, Достларму бир-бирини өткүрләштүрәр.
Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend's countenance.
18 Әнҗир көчитини пәрвиш қилғучи униңдин әнҗир йәйду; Ғоҗайинини асрап күткән қул иззәт тапиду.
Whoever tends the fig tree shall eat its fruit. He who looks after his master shall be honored.
19 Суда адәмниң йүзи әкс әткәндәк, Инсанниң қәлбиниң қандақлиғи өз йенидики киши арқилиқ билинәр.
As water reflects a face, so a man's heart reflects the man.
Sheol and Abaddon are never satisfied; and a man's eyes are never satisfied. (Sheol h7585)
21 Сапал қазан күмүчни, чанақ алтунни тавлар, Адәм болса махталғанда синилар.
The crucible is for silver, and the furnace for gold; but man is refined by his praise.
22 Ахмақни буғдай билән биргә сәндәлдә талқан қилип соқсаңму, Ахмақлиғи йәнила униңда турар.
Though you grind a fool in a mortar with a pestle along with grain, yet his foolishness will not be removed from him.
23 Падилириңниң әһвалини убдан билип тур, Мал-варанлириңдин яхши хәвәр ал;
Know well the state of your flocks, and pay attention to your herds:
24 Чүнки байлиқниң мәңгү капалити болмас, Таҗ-тәхтму дәвирдин-дәвиргичә турамду?
for riches are not forever, nor does even the crown endure to all generations.
25 Қуруған чөпләр орулғандин кейин, Юмран чөпләр өсүп чиққанда, Тағ бағридинму явайи чөпләр жиғилғанда,
The hay is removed, and the new growth appears, the grasses of the hills are gathered in.
26 Шу чағда қозиларниң жуңлири қирқилип кийимиң болар; Өшкиләрни сатқан пулға бир етиз келәр,
The lambs are for your clothing, and the goats are the price of a field.
27 Һәмдә өшкиләрниң сүтлири сениң һәм аилидикилириңниң озуқлуғини, Дедәклириңниң қосиғини тәминләшкиму йетәр.
There will be plenty of goats' milk for your food, for your family's food, and for the nourishment of your servant girls.
