1 Әйса Һерод падиша һөкүм сүргән күнләрдә Йәһудийә өлкисиниң Бәйт-Ләһәм йезисида дунияға кәлгәндин кейин, мана бәзи данишмәнләр мәшриқтин Йерусалимға йетип келип, пухралардин:
Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of King Herod, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying,
2 Йәһудийларниң [йеңидин] туғулған падишаси қәйәрдә? Чүнки биз униң юлтузиниң көтирилгәнлигини көрдуқ. Шуңа, униңға сәҗдә қилғили кәлдуқ, — дейишти.
“Where is he who is born King of the Jews? For we saw his star in the east, and have come to worship him.”
3 Буни аңлиған Һерод падиша, шуниңдәк пүткүл Йерусалим хәлқиму алақзадиликкә чүшти.
When King Herod heard it, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
4 У пүткүл баш каһинлар вә хәлиқниң Тәврат устазлирини чақирип, улардин «Мәсиһ қәйәрдә туғулуши керәк?» — дәп сориди.
Gathering together all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he asked them where the Christ would be born.
5 Улар: «Йәһудийәдики Бәйт-Ләһәм йезисида болуши керәк, — чүнки пәйғәмбәр арқилиқ шундақ пүтүлгән: —
They said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for this is written through the prophet,
6 «И Йәһудийә зиминидики Бәйт-Ләһәм, Хәлқиң Йәһудийә йетәкчилириниң арисида әң кичиги болмайду; Чүнки сәндин бир йетәкчи чиқиду, У хәлқим Исраилларниң баққучиси болиду» — дейишти.
‘You Bethlehem, land of Judah, are in no way least among the princes of Judah; for out of you shall come a governor who shall shepherd my people, Israel.’”
7 Буниң билән, Һерод данишмәләрни мәхпий чақиртип, юлтузниң қачан пәйда болғанлиғини сүрүштүрүп биливалди.
Then Herod secretly called the wise men, and learned from them exactly what time the star appeared.
8 Андин: «Берип балини сүрүштә қилип тепиңлар. Тапқан һаман қайтип маңа хәвәр қилиңлар, мәнму униң алдиға берип сәҗдә қилип келәй» — дәп, уларни Бәйт-Ләһәмгә йолға салди.
He sent them to Bethlehem, and said, “Go and search diligently for the young child. When you have found him, bring me word, so that I also may come and worship him.”
9 Данишмәнләр падишаниң сөзини аңлап йолға чиқти; вә мана, улар шәриқтә көргән һелиқи юлтуз уларниң алдида йол башлап маңди вә бала турған йәргә келип тохтиди.
They, having heard the king, went their way; and behold, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them until it came and stood over where the young child was.
10 Улар һелиқи юлтузни көргинидин интайин қаттиқ шатлиништи
When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy.
11 һәм өйгә кирип, балини аниси Мәрйәм билән көрүп, йәргә жиқилип униңға сәҗдә қилишти. Андин, ғәзнилирини ечип, алтун, мәстики, мурмәкки қатарлиқ соғатларни сунушти.
They came into the house and saw the young child with Mary, his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Opening their treasures, they offered to him gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
12 Уларға чүшидә Һеродниң йениға бармаслиқ тоғрисидики вәһий кәлгәнлиги үчүн, улар башқа йол билән өз жутиға қайтишти.
Being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they went back to their own country another way.
13 Улар йолға кәткәндин кейин, Пәрвәрдигарниң бир пәриштиси Йүсүпниң чүшидә көрүнүп: Орнуңдин тур! Бала вә аниси иккисини елип Мисирға қач. Мән саңа уқтурғичә у йәрдә турғин. Чүнки Һерод балини йоқитишқа издәп келиду — деди.
Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and stay there until I tell you, for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.”
14 Шуниң билән у орнидин туруп, шу кечила бала вә аниси иккисини елип Мисирға қарап йолға чиқти.
He arose and took the young child and his mother by night and departed into Egypt,
15 У Һерод өлгичә шу йәрдә турди. Шундақ болдики, Пәрвәрдигарниң пәйғәмбәр арқилиқ алдин-ала ейтқан: «Оғлумни Мисирдин Мән чақирдим» дегән сөзи әмәлгә ашурулди.
and was there until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, “Out of Egypt I called my son.”
16 Һерод болса данишмәнләрдин алданғанлиғини билип, қаттиқ ғәзәпләнди. У данишмәнләрдин ениқлиған вақитқа асасән, адәмләрни әвәтип Бәйт-Ләһәм йезиси вә әтрапидики икки яш вә униңдин төвән яштики оғул балиларниң һәммисини өлтүргузди.
Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked by the wise men, was exceedingly angry, and sent out and killed all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all the surrounding countryside, from two years old and under, according to the exact time which he had learned from the wise men.
17 Шу чағда Йәрәмия пәйғәмбәр арқилиқ ейтилған муну сөз әмәлгә ашурулди: —
Then that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled, saying,
18 «Рамаһ шәһиридә бир сада, Аччиқ жиға-зериниң пиғани аңлинар, Бу Раһиләниң балилири үчүн көтәргән аһ-зарлири; Балилириниң йоқ қиливетилгини түпәйлидин, Тәсәллини қобул қилмай пиған көтириду».
“A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children; she would not be comforted, because they are no more.”
19 Әнди Һерод өлгәндин кейин, Худаниң бир пәриштиси Мисирда турған Йүсүпниң чүшидә көрүнүп униңға: —
But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying,
20 Орнуңдин тур! Бала вә анисини елип Исраил зиминиға қайт! Чүнки балиниң җенини алмақчи болғанлар өлди, — деди.
“Arise and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel, for those who sought the young child’s life are dead.”
21 Буниң билән Йүсүп орнидин туруп бала вә анисини елип Исраил зиминиға қайтти.
He arose and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.
22 У Архелаусниң атиси Һерод падишаниң орниға тәхткә олтирип Йәһудийә өлкисигә һөкүмранлиқ қиливатқинидин хәвәр тепип, у йәргә қайтиштин қорқти; вә чүшидә униңға бир вәһий келип, Галилийә зиминиға берип,
But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea in the place of his father, Herod, he was afraid to go there. Being warned in a dream, he withdrew into the region of Galilee,
23 Насарәт дәп атилидиған бир йезида олтирақлашти. Шуниң билән пәйғәмбәрләр арқилиқ: «У Насарәтлик дәп атилиду» дейилгини әмәлгә ашурулди.
and came and lived in a city called Nazareth; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophets that he will be called a Nazarene.
