1 Вә алтә күндин кейин, Әйса Петрус, Яқуп вә Яқупниң иниси Юһаннани айрип елип, егиз бир таққа чиқти.
And after six days, Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them upon a high mountain apart.
2 У йәрдә униң сияқи уларниң көз алдидила өзгирип, йүзи қуяштәк парлиди, кийимлири нурдәк аппақ болуп чақниди.
And [he] was transfigured before them: and his face shone as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
3 Вә мана, [мухлисларға] Муса вә Иляс [пәйғәмбәрләр] униң билән сөзлишиватқан һалда көрүнди.
And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah talking with him.
4 Шуниң билән Петрус Әйсаға: — И Рәб, бу йәрдә болғинимиз немидегән яхши! Халисаң, бирини саңа, бирини Мусаға, йәнә бирини Илясқа атап бу йәргә үч кәпә ясайли! — деди.
Then answered Peter, and said to Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.
5 Униң гепи түгимәйла, мана нурлуқ бир булут уларни қапливалди. Мана, булуттин: «Бу Мениң сөйүмлүк Оғлумдур, Мән униңдин хурсәнмән. Униңға қулақ селиңлар!» дегән аваз аңланди.
While he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold, a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased: hear ye him.
6 Мухлислар буни аңлап өзлирини йәргә ташлап дүм йетип вәһимигә чүшти.
And when the disciples heard [it], they fell on their face, and were in great fear.
7 Бирақ Әйса келип, уларға қолини тәккүзүп: Қопуңлар, қорқмаңлар, — деди.
And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
8 Улар бешини көтирип қаривиди, Әйсадин башқа һеч кимни көрмиди.
And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.
9 Тағдин чүшүветип, Әйса уларға: — Инсаноғли өлүмдин тирилдүрүлмигичә, бу аламәт көрүнүшни һеч кимгә ейтмаңлар, — дәп тапилиди.
And as they were descending the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be raised again from the dead.
10 Андин мухлислири униңдин: — Тәврат устазлири немә үчүн: «Иляс [пәйғәмбәр Мәсиһ келиштин] авал қайтип келиши керәк» дейишиду? — дәп сорашти.
And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes, that Elijah must first come?
11 У уларға җававән: — Иляс [пәйғәмбәр] дәрвәқә [Мәсиһтин] авал келиду, һәммә ишни орниға кәлтүриду.
And Jesus answered and said to them, Elijah truly will first come, and restore all things:
12 Амма мән силәргә шуни ейтип қояйки, иляс аллиқачан кәлди, лекин кишиләр уни тонумиди, бәлки униңға халиғанчә муамилә қилди. Шуниңға охшаш, Инсаноғлиму уларниң қоллирида азап чекиш алдида туриду, — деди.
But I say to you, that Elijah is come already, and they knew him not, but have done to him whatever they pleased: likewise will also the Son of man suffer by them.
13 Шу чағда мухлислар униң чөмүлдүргүчи Йәһя тоғрисида сөзләватқанлиғини чүшәнди.
Then the disciples understood that he spoke to them concerning John the Baptist.
14 Улар халайиқниң йениға барғинида, бир киши униң алдиға келип, тизлинип:
And when they had come to the multitude, there came to him a [certain] man kneeling down to him, and saying,
15 Рәб, оғлумға ичиңни ағритқайсән! Чүнки униң тутқақлиқ кесили бар болғачқа, зор азап чекиватиду; чүнки у дайим отниң яки суниң ичигә чүшүп кетиду.
Lord, have mercy on my son; for he is lunatic, and grievously distressed; for often he falleth into the fire, and often into the water.
16 Уни мухлислириңға елип кәлгән едим, сақайталмиди, — деди.
And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
17 Әйса җававән: — Әй етиқатсиз вә тәтүр дәвир, силәр билән қачанғичә турай?! Мән силәргә йәнә қачанғичә сәвир қилай? — Балини алдимға елип келиңлар — деди.
Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.
18 Шуниң билән Әйса [җинға] тәнбиһ беривиди, җин балидин чиқип кәтти, балиму шуан сақайди.
And Jesus rebuked the demon, and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
19 Кейин, Әйса айрим қалғанда, мухлислар униң йениға келип: — Биз немә үчүн җинни қоғливетәлмидуқ? — дәп сорашти.
Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
20 У уларға: — Ишәшиңлар болмиғанлиғи үчүн. Мән силәргә шуни бәрһәқ ейтип қояйки, силәрдә қича уруғидәк зәрричә ишәш болсила, силәр аву таққа: «Бу йәрдин у йәргә көч» десәңлар, көчиду; шундақла силәргә мүмкин болмайдиған һеч иш болмайду.
And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say to you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard-seed, ye shall say to this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you.
21 Бирақ, бундақ җинларни дуа қилиш вә роза тутуш билән болмиса һайдиғили болмайду — деди.
However, this kind goeth not out, but by prayer and fasting.
22 Улар Галилийә өлкисидә айлинип жүргинидә, Әйса уларға: — Инсаноғли [сатқунлуқтин] инсанларниң қолиға тапшурулиду;
And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of man will be betrayed into the hands of men:
23 улар уни өлтүриду, лекин үчинчи күни у тирилиду, — деди. Буни аңлап мухлислар еғир ғәм-қайғуға чөмүп кәтти.
And they will kill him, and the third day he will be raised again: And they were exceedingly grieved.
24 Андин улар Кәпәрнаһум шәһиригә кәлгинидә, [ибадәтхана] «икки драқма» [беҗини] жиққучилар Петрусниң йениға келип: — Устазиңлар «икки драқма»ни төләмду? — дәп сориди.
And when they had come to Capernaum, they that received tribute -[money], came to Peter, and said, Doth not your Master pay tribute?
25 Төләйду, — деди Петрус. Лекин у өйгә киргишигила, техи бир немә демәстила Әйса униңдин: — Симон, сениңчә бу дуниядики падишалар кимләрдин баҗ алиду? Өз пәрзәнтлиридинму, яки ятлардинму, — дәп сориди.
He saith, Yes. And when he had come into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? from whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? from their own children, or from strangers?
26 Петрус униңға: Ятлардин, — девиди, Әйса униңға: — Ундақта, пәрзәнтләр [баҗдин] халий болиду.
Peter saith to him, From strangers. Jesus saith to him, Then are the children free.
27 Бирақ [баҗ жиққучиларға] путликашаң болмаслиғимиз үчүн, деңизға берип қармақни ташла. Тутқан биринчи белиқни елип, ағзини ачсаң, төрт драқмилиқ бир тәңгә пул чиқиду. Уни елип мән вә сән иккимизниң [беҗи] үчүн уларға бәр, — деди.
Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast a hook, and take the fish that first cometh up: and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: take that, and give to them for me and thee.
