1 Гәрчә нурғун адәмләр аримизда мутләқ ишәшлик дәп қаралған ишларни топлап йезишқа киришкән болсиму,
Forasmuch as many have undertaken to draw up a relation concerning the matters fully believed among us,
2 (худди сөз-каламға баштин-ахир өз көзи билән гувачи болғанлар, шундақла уни сақлап йәткүзгүчиләрниң бизгә аманәт қилған баянлиридәк),
as those who from the beginning were eye-witnesses of and attendants on the Word have delivered them to us,

it has seemed good to me also, accurately acquainted from the origin with all things, to write to thee with method, most excellent Theophilus,

that thou mightest know the certainty of those things in which thou hast been instructed.
5 Йәһудийә өлкисигә падиша болған Һерод сәлтәнәт қилған күнлиридә, «Абия» каһинлиқ нөвитидин бир каһин бар болуп, исми Зәкәрия еди. Униң аялиму Һарунниң әвладидин болуп, исми Елизабит еди.
There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest, by name Zacharias, of the course of Abia, and his wife of the daughters of Aaron, and her name Elizabeth.
6 Улар иккиси Худаниң алидида һәққаний кишиләр болуп, Пәрвәрдигарниң пүтүн әмир-бәлгүлимилири бойичә әйипсиз маңатти.
And they were both just before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
7 Амма Елизабит туғмас болғачқа, улар пәрзәнт көрмигән еди. Униң үстигә улар иккиси хеләла яшинип қалған еди.
And they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both advanced in years.

And it came to pass, as he fulfilled his priestly service before God in the order of his course,

it fell to him by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood, to enter into the temple of the Lord to burn incense.
10 Әнди у хушбуй селиватқан вақтида, җамаәт ташқирида туруп дуа қилишивататти.
And all the multitude of the people were praying without at the hour of incense.
11 Туюқсиз Пәрвәрдигарниң бир пәриштиси униңға хушбуйгаһниң оң тәрипидә көрүнди.
And an angel of [the] Lord appeared to him, standing on the right of the altar of incense.
12 Уни көргән Зәкәрия һодуқуп қорқунучқа чөмүп кәтти.
And Zacharias was troubled, seeing [him], and fear fell upon him.
13 Бирақ пәриштә униңға: — Әй Зәкәрия, қорқмиғин! Чүнки тилигиң иҗабәт қилинди, аялиң Елизабит саңа бир оғул туғуп бериду, сән униң исмини Йәһя қойғин.
But the angel said to him, Fear not, Zacharias, because thy supplication has been heard, and thy wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
14 У саңа шат-хурамлиқ елип келиду, униң дунияға келиши билән нурғун кишиләр шатлиниду.
And he shall be to thee joy and rejoicing, and many shall rejoice at his birth.
15 Чүнки у Пәрвәрдигарниң нәзиридә улуқ болиду. У һеч қандақ һарақ-шарап ичмәслиги керәк; һәтта анисиниң қосиғидики вақтидин тартипму Муқәддәс Роһқа толдурулған болиду.
For he shall be great before [the] Lord, and he shall drink no wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with [the] Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb.
16 У Исраиллардин нурғунлирини Пәрвәрдигар Худасиниң йениға қайтуриду.
And many of the sons of Israel shall he turn to [the] Lord their God.
17 У [Рәбниң] алдида Илияс пәйғәмбәргә хас болған роһ вә күч-қудрәттә болуп, атиларниң қәлблирини балиларға майил қилип, итаәтсизләрни һәққанийларниң ақиланилигигә киргүзүп, Рәб үчүн тәйярланған бир хәлиқни һазир қилиш үчүн униң алдида маңиду, — деди.
And he shall go before him in [the] spirit and power of Elias, to turn hearts of fathers to children, and disobedient ones to [the] thoughts of just [men], to make ready for [the] Lord a prepared people.
18 Зәкәрия болса пәриштидин: Мәнму қерип қалған, аялимму хелә яшинип қалған турса, бу ишни қандақ җәзм қилалаймән? — дәп сориди.
And Zacharias said to the angel, How shall I know this, for I am an old man, and my wife advanced in years?
19 Пәриштә җававән: — Мән Худаниң һозурида турғучи Җәбраилмән. Саңа сөз қилишқа, бу хуш хәвәрни саңа йәткүзүшкә мән әвәтилдим.
And the angel answering, said to him, I am Gabriel, who stand before God, and I have been sent to speak to thee, and to bring these glad tidings to thee;
20 Вақит-саити кәлгәндә чоқум әмәлгә ашурулидиған бу сөзлиримгә ишәнмигәнлигиң түпәйлидин, бу ишлар әмәлгә ашурулған күнигичә мана сән тилиң тутулуп, зуванға келәлмәйсән, — деди.
and behold, thou shalt be silent and not able to speak, till the day in which these things shall take place, because thou hast not believed my words, the which shall be fulfilled in their time.
21 Әнди җамаәт Зәкәрияни күтүп туратти; улар у муқәддәс җайда немә үчүн бунчивала һаял болди, дәп һәйран қалғили турди.
And the people were awaiting Zacharias, and they wondered at his delaying in the temple.
22 У чиққанда уларға гәп қилалмиди; униң уларға қол ишарәтлирини қилишидин, шундақла зуван сүрәлмигәнлигидин улар униң муқәддәс җайда бирәр аламәт көрүнүшни көргәнлигини чүшинип йәтти.
But when he came out he could not speak to them, and they recognised that he had seen a vision in the temple. And he was making signs to them, and continued dumb.
23 Шундақ болдики, униң [ибадәтханидики] хизмәт муддити тошуши биләнла, у өйигә қайтти.
And it came to pass, when the days of his service were completed, he departed to his house.
24 Дәрвәқә, бир нәччә күндин кейин униң аяли Елизабит һамилдар болди; у бәш айғичә тала-түзгә чиқмай:
Now after these days, Elizabeth his wife conceived, and hid herself five months, saying,
25 «Әнди Пәрвәрдигар мениң һалимға нәзирини чүшүрүп, мени халайиқ арисида номусқа қелиштин халас қилип, маңа бу күнләрдә шунчилик шапаәт көрсәтти» — деди.
Thus has [the] Lord done to me in [these] days in which he looked upon [me] to take away my reproach among men.
26 [Елизабит һамилдар болуп] алтә ай болғанда, пәриштә Җәбраил Худа тәрипидин Галилийә өлкисидики Насарәт дегән бир шәһәргә, пак бир қизниң қешиға әвәтилди. Қиз болса Давут [падишаниң] җәмәтидин болған Йүсүп исимлиқ бир кишигә дейишип қоюлған еди; қизниң исми болса Мәрйәм еди.
But in the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent of God to a city of Galilee, of which [the] name [was] Nazareth,
to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name [was] Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name [was] Mary.
28 Җәбраил униң алдиға кирип униңға: — Салам саңа, әй шәпқәткә муйәссәр болған қиз! Пәрвәрдигар саңа ярдур! — деди.
And the angel came in to her, and said, Hail, [thou] favoured one! the Lord [is] with thee: [blessed art thou amongst women].
29 У пәриштини көргәндә, униң сөзидин бәк һодуқуп кәтти, көңлидә бундақ салам сөзи зади немини көрситидиғанду, дәп ойлап қалди.
But she, [seeing] [the angel], was troubled at his word, and reasoned in her mind what this salutation might be.
30 Пәриштә униңға: — Әй Мәрйәм, қорқмиғин. Сән Худа алдида шәпқәт тапқансән.
And the angel said to her, Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found favour with God;
31 Мана, сән һамилдар болуп бир оғул туғисән, сән униң исмини Әйса дәп қойисән.
and behold, thou shalt conceive in the womb and bear a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus.
32 У улуқ болиду, Һәммидин Алий Болғучиниң оғли дәп атилиду; вә Пәрвәрдигар Худа униңға атиси Давутниң тәхтини ата қилиду.
He shall be great, and shall be called Son of [the] Highest; and [the] Lord God shall give him the throne of David his father;
and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for the ages, and of his kingdom there shall not be an end. (aiōn g165)
34 Мәрйәм әнди пәриштидин: — Мән техи әр кишигә тәгмигән турсам, бу иш қандақму мүмкин болсун? — дәп сориди.
But Mary said to the angel, How shall this be, since I know not a man?
35 Пәриштә униңға җававән: — Муқәддәс Роһ сениң вуҗудуңға чүшиду вә Һәммидин Алий Болғучиниң күч-қудрити саңа сайә болуп йеқинлишиду. Шуңа, сәндин туғулидиған муқәддәс [пәрзәнт] Худаниң Оғли дәп атилиду.
And the angel answering said to her, [The] Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, and power of [the] Highest overshadow thee, wherefore the holy thing also which shall be born shall be called Son of God.
36 Вә мана, туққиниң Елизабитму яшинип қалған болсиму, оғулға һамилдар болди; туғмас дейилгүчиниң қосақ көтәргинигә һазир алтә ай болуп қалди.
And behold, Elizabeth, thy kinswoman, she also has conceived a son in her old age, and this is the sixth month to her that was called barren:
37 Чүнки Худа билән һеч қандақ иш мүмкин болмай қалмайду, — деди.
for nothing shall be impossible with God.
38 Мәрйәм: — Мана Пәрвәрдигарниң дедигимән; маңа сөзүң бойичә болсун, — деди. Шуниң билән пәриштә униң йенидин кәтти.
And Mary said, Behold the bondmaid of [the] Lord; be it to me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
39 Мәрйәм шу күнләрдә орнидин қопуп алдирап Йәһудийә тағлиқ районидики бир шәһәргә барди.
And Mary, rising up in those days, went into the hill country with haste, to a city of Judah,
40 У Зәкәрияниң өйигә кирип, Елизабитқа салам бәрди.
and entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elizabeth.
41 Вә шундақ болдики, Елизабит Мәрйәмниң салимини аңлиғандила, қосиғидики бовақ ойнақлап кәтти. Елизабит болса Муқәддәс Роһқа толдурулуп, жуқури аваз билән тәнтәнә қилип мундақ деди: — Қиз-аяллар ичидә бәхитликтурсән, қосиғиңдики мевиму бәхитликтур!
And it came to pass, as Elizabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with [the] Holy Spirit,
and cried out with a loud voice and said, Blessed [art] thou amongst women, and blessed the fruit of thy womb.
43 Маңа шундақ [шәрәп] нәдин кәлдикин, Рәббимниң аниси болғучи мени йоқлап кәлди!
And whence [is] this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
44 Чүнки мана, салимиң қулиқимға киргәндила, қосиғимдики бовақ сөйүнүп ойнақлап кәтти.
For behold, as the voice of thy salutation sounded in my ears, the babe leaped with joy in my womb.
45 Ишәнгән қиз нәқәдәр бәхитликтур; чүнки униңға Пәрвәрдигар тәрипидин ейтилған сөз җәзмән әмәлгә ашурулиду!
And blessed [is] she that has believed, for there shall be a fulfilment of the things spoken to her from [the] Lord.
46 Мәрйәмму хуш болуп мундақ деди: — «Җеним Рәбни улуқлайду,
And Mary said, My soul magnifies the Lord,
47 роһум Қутқузғучим Худадин шатланди,
and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Saviour.
48 Чүнки У дедигиниң мискин һалиға нәзәр салди; Чүнки мана, шундин башлап барлиқ дәвирләр мени бәхитлик дәп атайду;
For he has looked upon the low estate of his bondmaid; for behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
49 Чүнки Қадир Болғучи мән үчүн улуқ ишларни әмәлгә ашурди; Муқәддәстур Униң нами.
For the Mighty One has done to me great things, and holy [is] his name;
50 Униң рәһим-шәпқити дәвирдин-дәвиргичә Өзидин қорқидиғанларниң үстидидур,
and his mercy [is] to generations and generations to them that fear him.
51 У билиги билән күч-қудритини намайән қилди, У тәкәббурларни көңлидики нийәт-хияллири ичидила тар мар қилди.
He has wrought strength with his arm; he has scattered haughty [ones] in the thought of their heart.
52 У күчлүк һөкүмдарларни тәхтидин чүшүрди, Пеқирларни егиз көтәрди.
He has put down rulers from thrones, and exalted the lowly.
53 У ачларни нази-немәтләр билән тоюндурди, Лекин байларни қуруқ қол қайтурди.
He has filled the hungry with good things, and sent away the rich empty.
He has helped Israel his servant, in order to remember mercy,
55 У ата-бовилиримизға ейтқинидәк, Йәни Ибраһим һәм униң нәслигә мәңгү вәдә қилғинидәк, У Өз рәһим-шәпқитини есидә тутуп, Қули Исраилға ярдәмгә кәлди». (aiōn g165)
(as he spoke to our fathers, ) to Abraham and to his seed for ever. (aiōn g165)
56 Мәрйәм Елизабитниң йенида үч айчә туруп, өз өйигә қайтти.
And Mary abode with her about three months, and returned to her house.
57 Елизабитниң туғутиниң ай-күни тошуп, бир оғул туғди.
But the time was fulfilled for Elizabeth that she should bring forth, and she gave birth to a son.
58 Әнди униң қолум-хошнилири вә уруқ-туққанлири Пәрвәрдигарниң униңға көрсәткән меһри-шәпқитини шунчә улғайтқанлиғини аңлап, униң билән тәң шатланди.
And her neighbours and kinsfolk heard that [the] Lord had magnified his mercy with her, and they rejoiced with her.
59 Вә шундақ болдики, бовақ туғулуп сәккиз күн болғанда, халайиқ балиниң хәтнисини қилғили кәлди. Улар униңға Зәкәрия дәп атисиниң исмини қоймақчи болушти.
And it came to pass on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child, and they called it after the name of his father, Zacharias.
60 Лекин аниси җававән: — Яқ! Исми Йәһя аталсун — деди.
And his mother answering said, No; but he shall be called John.
61 Улар униңға: — Бирақ уруқ-җәмәтиңиз ичидә бундақ исимдикиләр йоққу! — дейишти.
And they said to her, There is no one among thy kinsfolk who is called by this name.
62 Шуниң билән улар балиниң атисидин пәрзәнтиңизгә немә исим қоюшни халайсиз, дәп ишарәт билән сорашти.
And they made signs to his father as to what he might wish it to be called.
63 У бир парчә [мом] тахтайни әкилишни тәләп қилип: «Униң исми Йәһядур» дәп язди. Һәммәйлән интайин һәйран қелишти.
And having asked for a writing-table, he wrote saying, John is his name. And they all wondered.
64 Шуан униң ағзи ечилди, униң тили йешилип, зуванға кәлди вә шуниң билән Худаға тәшәккүр-мәдһийә ейтти.
And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue, and he spake, blessing God.
65 Уларниң өпчүрисидикиләрниң һәммисини қорқунуч басти; Йәһудийә тағлиқ районлирида бу ишларниң һәммиси әл ағзида пур кәтти.
And fear came upon all who dwelt round about them; and in the whole hill-country of Judaea all these things were the subject of conversation.
66 Бу ишлардин хәвәр тапқучиларниң һәммиси уларни көңлигә пүкүп: «Бу бала зади қандақ адәм болар?» дейишти. Чүнки Пәрвәрдигарниң қоли дәрвәқә униңға яр еди.
And all who heard them laid them up in their heart, saying, What then will this child be? And [the] Lord's hand was with him.
67 Шу чағда балиниң атиси Зәкәрия Муқәддәс Роһқа толдурулуп, вәһий-бешарәтни йәткүзүп, мундақ деди: —
And Zacharias his father was filled with [the] Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying,
68 «Исраилниң Худаси Пәрвәрдигарға тәшәккүр-мәдһийә оқулсун! Чүнки У Өз хәлқини йоқлап, улардин хәвәр елип, бәдәл төләп уларни һөр қилди.
Blessed be [the] Lord the God of Israel, because he has visited and wrought redemption for his people,
and raised up a horn of deliverance for us in the house of David his servant;
70 У қедимдин бери муқәддәс пәйғәмбәрлириниң ағзи арқилиқ вәдә қилғинидәк, Қули болған Давутниң җәмәти ичидин биз үчүн бир ниҗат мүңгүзини өстүрүп турғузди; Бу зат бизни дүшмәнлиримиздин вә бизни өч көридиғанларниң қолидин қутқузғучи ниҗаттур. (aiōn g165)
as he spoke by [the] mouth of his holy prophets, who have been since the world began; (aiōn g165)
deliverance from our enemies and out of the hand of all who hate us;
72 У шу йол билән ата-бовилиримизға илтипат әйләп, Муқәддәс әһдисини әмәлгә ашуруш үчүн, Йәни атимиз Ибраһимға болған қәсимини есидә тутуп, Бизни дүшмәнлириниң қолидин азат қилип, Барлиқ күнлиримиздә һеч кимдин қорқмай, Өз алдида ихласмәнлик вә һәққанийлиқ билән, Хизмәт-ибадитидә болидиған қилди.
to fulfil mercy with our fathers and remember his holy covenant,
[the] oath which he swore to Abraham our father,
to give us, that, saved out of the hand of our enemies, we should serve him without fear
in piety and righteousness before him all our days.
76 Әнди сән, и балам, Һәммидин Алий Болғучиниң пәйғәмбири дәп атилисән; Чүнки сән Рәбниң йоллирини тәйярлаш үчүн Униң алдида маңисән.
And thou, child, shalt be called [the] prophet of [the] Highest; for thou shalt go before the face of [the] Lord to make ready his ways;
77 Вәзипәң униң хәлқигә гуналириниң кәчүрүм қилиниши арқилиқ болидиған ниҗатниң хәвирини билдүрүштүр;
to give knowledge of deliverance to his people by [the] remission of their sins
78 Чүнки Худайимизниң ичи-бағридин урғуп чиққан шәпқәтләр вәҗидин, Қараңғулуқ вә өлүм көләңгиси ичидә олтарғанларни йорутуш үчүн, Путлиримизни аманлиқ йолиға башлаш үчүн, Әрштин таң шәпиқи үстимизгә чүшүп йоқлиди.
on account of [the] bowels of mercy of our God; wherein [the] dayspring from on high has visited us,
to shine upon them who were sitting in darkness and in [the] shadow of death, to guide our feet into [the] way of peace.
80 Бала болса өсүп, роһта күчләндүрүлди. У Исраил җамаитиниң алдида намайән қилинғичә чөлләрдә яшап кәлди.
— And the child grew and was strengthened in spirit; and he was in the deserts until the day of his shewing to Israel.
