1 Йәһудийлар [кеңәшмисиниң] Пәрисийләрдин болған Никодим исимлиқ бир йолбашчиси бар еди.
Now there was a Pharisee named Nicodemus, who was a ruler of the Jews.
2 Бу адәм бир кечиси Әйсаниң алдиға келип: — Устаз, сениң Худадин кәлгән тәлим бәргүчи екәнлигиңни билимиз. Чүнки Худа униң билән биллә болмиса, һеч кимниң сән көрсәткән бу мөҗизилик аламәтләрни көрситиши қәтъий мүмкин әмәс, — деди.
He came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that yoʋ are a teacher who has come from God, for no one can do these signs yoʋ are doing unless God is with him.”
3 Әйса униңға җававән: — Бәрһәқ, бәрһәқ, мән саңа шуни ейтип қояйки, һеч ким жуқуридин туғулмиғичә, Худаниң падишалиғини көрәлмәс! — деди.
Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to yoʋ, unless someone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
4 Никодим: — Адәм қериғинида қандақму қайтидин туғулсун? Анисиниң қосиғиға қайта кирип туғулуши мүмкинму?! — дәп сориди.
Nicodemus said to him, “How can a person be born when he is old? Can he enter the womb of his mother a second time and be born?”
5 Әйса мундақ җавап бәрди: — Бәрһәқ, бәрһәқ, мән саңа шуни ейтип қояйки, һәм судин, һәм Роһтин туғулмиғичә, һеч ким Худаниң падишалиғиға кирәлмәс!
Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to yoʋ, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
6 Әттин туғулған болса әттур; роһтин туғулған болса роһтур.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Саңа: «Жуқиридин туғулушуңлар керәк» дегинимгә һәйран қалма.
Do not be amazed that I said to yoʋ, ‘You must be born again.’
8 Шамал халиған тәрәпкә соқиду, сән униң авазини аңлайсән, лекин қәйәрдин келип, қәйәргә баридиғинини билмәйсән. Роһтин туғулған һәр бириму шундақтур.
The wind blows where it wishes. Yoʋ hear the sound of it, but yoʋ do not know where it is coming from or where it is going; so it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
9 Никодим йәнә җававән Әйсаға: — Бу ишлар қандақму мүмкин болар? — деди.
In response Nicodemus said to him, “How can these things be?”
10 Әйса униңға җававән мундақ деди: — «Сән Исраилниң өлимаси туруп, буниму билмәмсән?
Jesus answered him, “Yoʋ are the teacher of Israel, and yoʋ do not understand these things?
11 Бәрһәқ, бәрһәқ, мән саңа шуни ейтип қояйки, биз билгинимизни ейтимиз вә көргинимизгә гувалиқ беримиз, лекин силәр бизниң гувалиғимизни қобул қилмайсиләр.
Truly, truly, I say to yoʋ, we speak of what we know, and we testify about what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony.
12 Силәргә зиминдики ишларни ейтсам ишәнмигән йәрдә, әрштики ишларни ейтсам қандақму ишинисиләр?
If I have spoken to you about earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I speak to you about heavenly things?
13 Өзи әрштә болуп, әрштин чүшкүчидин, йәни Инсаноғлидин башқа һеч ким әршкә чиқмиди.
No one has ascended into heaven, except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man, who is in heaven.
14 Муса чөлдә [туч] иланни көтәргәндәк, Инсаноғлиму охшашла шундақ егиз көтирилиши керәк.
Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
15 Шундақ болғанда, униңға етиқат қилғанларниң һәммиси һалак болмай, мәңгүлүк һаятқа еришәләйду». (aiōnios g166)
so that everyone who believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
16 Чүнки Худа дуниядики инсанларни шу қәдәр сөйидуки, Өзиниң бирдин-бир йеганә Оғлини пида болушқа бәрди. Мәхсити, униңға етиқат қилған һәр бириниң һалак болмай, мәңгүлүк һаятқа еришиши үчүндур. (aiōnios g166)
“For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
17 Худа Оғлини дуниядики инсанларни гунаға бекитиш үчүн әмәс, бәлки уларниң у арқилиқ қутқузулуши үчүн дунияға әвәтти.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through him.
18 Кимки униңға етиқат қилғучи болса, гунаға бекитилмәйду; лекин етиқат қилмиғучи болса аллиқачан гунаға бекитилгәндур; чүнки у Худаниң йәккә-йеганә Оғлиниң намиға етиқат қилмиған.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.
19 Вә гунаға бекитиш сәвәви мана шуки, нур дунияға кәлгән болсиму, инсанлар нурни әмәс, бәлки қараңғулуқни яхши көрди; чүнки уларниң әмәллири рәзил еди.
This is the judgment: The light has come into the world, but people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.
20 Чүнки рәзиллик қилғучи һәр бири нурни яман көрүп вә өзиниң қилған-әткәнлириниң ашкарә қилинмаслиғи үчүн нурға кәлмәйду;
For whoever does evil hates the light and does not come to the light, so that his works may not be exposed.
21 лекин һәқиқәтни жүргүзгүчи болса, әмәллирини Худаға тайинип қилғанлиғи аян болсун дәп, нурға келиду.
But whoever lives by the truth comes to the light, so that it may be evident that his works have been done in obedience to God.”
22 Бу ишлардин кейин, Әйса мухлислири билән Йәһудийә зиминиға барди; у у йәрдә улар билән биллә туруп, кишиләрни чөмүлдүрди.
After this Jesus went into the Judean countryside along with his disciples, and he spent some time there with them, baptizing people.
23 Шу чағда Йәһя [пәйғәмбәрму] Салим йезисиниң йенидики Айнон дегән йәрдә кишиләрни чөмүлдүрүвататти. Чүнки у йәрниң сүйи мол еди. Кишиләр униң алдиға келишип, чөмүлдүрүшни қобул қилишатти
Now John was also baptizing people in Aenon near Salem, because there was plenty of water there, and people were coming to him and being baptized.
24 (чүнки шу чағда Йәһя техи зинданға ташланмиған еди).
(For John had not yet been thrown into prison.)
25 [шу вақитларда] Йәһяниң мухлислири бир Йәһудий киши билән таһарәт қаидилири тоғрисида бәс-муназирә қилишип қалди.
Now a discussion arose between the disciples of John and a Jew about purification.
26 Андин мухлислар Йәһяниң йениға келип: — Устаз, Иордан дәриясиниң у қетида сән билән биргә болған, өзүң [тәрипләп] гувалиқ бәргән һелиқи киши мана һазир өзи кишиләрни чөмүлдүрүватиду, вә һәммә адәм униң йениға кетишиватиду, — деди.
So John's disciples came and said to him, “Rabbi, he who was with yoʋ beyond the Jordan, about whom yoʋ have testified, behold, he is baptizing people, and everyone is going to him.”
27 Йәһя мундақ җавап бәрди: — Әгәр униңға әрштин ата қилинмиған болса, инсан һеч нәрсигә егә болалмайду.
John replied, “A person cannot receive anything unless it is given to him from heaven.
28 Мениң силәргә: «Мән Мәсиһ әмәс, пәқәт униң алдида әвәтилгәнмән» дегинимгә өзүңлар гувачисиләр.
You yourselves can testify that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but rather, ‘I have been sent ahead of him.’
29 Келинчәкни әмригә алғучи жигиттур; қолдиши жигитниң авазини күтиду; қолдаш униң авазини аңлап, қәлбидә толиму хурсән болиду. Шуниңға охшаш, мәндиму хурсәнлик толуп ташиду.
He who has the bride is the bridegroom. But the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and listens for him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom's voice. So this joy of mine has been made full.
30 Униң жүксилиши, мениң аҗизлишишим муқәррәрдур.
He must increase, but I must decrease.”
31 Үстүндин кәлгүчи һәммидин үстүндур. Зиминдин кәлгүчи зиминға тәвә болуп зиминдики ишларни сөзләйду. Әрштин кәлгүчи һәммидин үстүндур;
He who comes from above is above all. He who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks about earthly things. But he who comes from heaven is above all.
32 өзиниң [әрштә] көргән вә аңлиғанлири болса, у булар тоғрилиқ гувалиқ бериду; бирақ һеч ким униң гувалиқини қобул қилмайду.
He testifies to what he has seen and heard, yet no one receives his testimony.
33 [Һалбуки], кимки униң гувалиқини қобул қилған болса, Худаниң һәқ екәнлигигиму мөһүрини басқан болиду.
Whoever does receive his testimony has certified that God is true.
34 Чүнки Худа әвәткини Худаниң сөзлирини сөзләйду; чүнки Худа Роһни [униңға] өлчәм билән кәмләп бәрмәс.
For he whom God sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without measure.
35 Ата Оғулни сөйиду вә һәммә ишларни униң қолиға тапшурғандур.
The Father loves the Son and has put all things in his hand.
36 Оғулға етиқат қилғучи мәңгүлүк һаятқа егидур. Лекин Оғулға итаәт қилмиғучи һаятни һеч көрмәйду, бәлки Худаниң ғәзиви шундақларниң үстидә туриду. (aiōnios g166)
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life; rather, the wrath of God remains upon him. (aiōnios g166)
