1 Қени, илтиҗа қилип бақ, саңа җавап қилғучи бармекин? Муқәддәсләрниң қайсисидин панаһ тиләйсән?
Call nowe, if any will answere thee, and to which of the Saintes wilt thou turne?
2 Чүнки ахмақниң аччиғи өзини өлтүриду, Қәһри наданниң җениға замин болиду.
Doubtlesse anger killeth the foolish, and enuie slayeth the idiote.
3 Мән өз көзүм билән ахмақниң йилтиз тартқанлиғини көргәнмән; Лекин шу һаман униң маканини «Ләнәткә учрайду!» дәп билдим,
I haue seene the foolish well rooted, and suddenly I cursed his habitation, saying,
4 Униң балилири аманлиқтин жирақтур; Улар шәһәр дәрвазисида сот қилинғанда бастурулди; Уларға һеч ким һимайичи болмайду.
His children shalbe farre from saluation, and they shall be destroyed in the gate, and none shall deliuer them.
5 Униң һосулини ачлар йәп түгитиду; Улар һәтта тикән арисида қалғанлириниму елип түгитиду; Қилтақчиму униң мал-мүлүклирини жутувелишқа тәйяр туриду.
The hungrie shall eate vp his haruest: yea, they shall take it from among the thornes, and the thirstie shall drinke vp their substance.
6 Чүнки аваричилик әзәлдин топидин үнүп чиқмайду, Күлпәтму йәрдин өсүп чиққанму әмәс.
For miserie commeth not foorth of the dust, neither doeth affliction spring out of the earth.
7 Бирақ учқун жуқуриға учидиғандәк, Инсан күлпәт тартишқа туғулғандур.
But man is borne vnto trauaile, as the sparkes flie vpwarde.
8 Орнуңда мән болсам, Тәңриғила мураҗиәт қилаттим, Мән ишимни Худайимғила тапшуриветәттим.
But I would inquire at God, and turne my talke vnto God:
9 У һесапсиз карамәтләрни, Сан-санақсиз мөҗизиләрни яритиду.
Which doeth great things and vnsearchable, and marueilous things without nomber.
10 У йәргә ямғур тәқдим қилиду; У дала үстигә су әвәтип бериду.
He giueth raine vpon the earth, and powreth water vpon the streetes,
11 У пәс орунда туридиғанларниң мәртивисини үстүн қилиду; Матәм тутқанлар аманлиққа көтирилиду.
And setteth vp on hie them that be lowe, that the sorowfull may be exalted to saluation.
12 У һейлигәрләрниң нийәтлирини бекар қиливетиду, Нәтиҗидә улар ишини пүттүрәлмәйду.
He scattereth the deuices of the craftie: so that their handes can not accomplish that which they doe enterprise.
13 У мәккарларни өз һейлигәрлигидин қапқанқа алиду; Әгирләрниң нәйрәңлири еқитип кетилиду.
He taketh the wise in their craftinesse, and the counsel of the wicked is made foolish.
14 Күндүздә улар қараңғулуққа учрайду; Чүштә түн кечидәк силаштуруп маңиду.
They meete with darkenesse in the day time, and grope at noone day, as in the night.
15 Бирақ у мискинләрни мәккарларниң қиличи вә ағзидин қутқузиду, Уларни күчлүкләрниң чаңгилидин қудрәтлик қоли билән қутқузиду.
But he saueth the poore from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hande of the violent man,
16 Шуңа, аҗизлар үчүн үмүт туғулиду, Қәбиһлик ағзини юмиду.
So that the poore hath his hope, but iniquitie shall stop her mouth.
17 Қара, Тәңри ибрәт бәргән адәм бәхитликтур, Шуңа, Һәммигә Қадирниң тәрбийисигә сәл қарима җуму!
Beholde, blessed is the man whome God correcteth: therefore refuse not thou the chastising of the Almightie.
18 Чүнки У адәмни яриландуриду, андин ярини таңиду; У санҗийду, бирақ Униң қоллири йәнә сақайтиду.
For he maketh the wound, and bindeth it vp: he smiteth, and his handes make whole.
19 У сени алтә қийинчилиқтин қутқузиду; Һәтта йәттә күлпәттә һеч қандақ яманлиқ саңа тәгмәйду.
He shall deliuer thee in sixe troubles, and in the seuenth the euill shall not touch thee.
20 Ачарчилиқта У сениң үлүмиңгә, Урушта У саңа урулған қилич зәрбисигә ниҗаткар болиду.
In famine he shall deliuer thee from death: and in battel from the power of the sworde.
21 Сән зәһәрлик тилларниң зәрбисидиму башпанаһлиқ ичигә йошурунисән, Вәйранчилиқ кәлгәндә униңдин һеч қорқмайдиған болисән.
Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue, and thou shalt not be afraid of destruction when it commeth.
22 Вәйранчилиқ вә қәһәтчилик алдида күлүпла қойисән; Йәр йүзидики һайванлардинму һеч қорқмайсән.
But thou shalt laugh at destruction and dearth, and shalt not be afraide of the beast of the earth.
23 Сән даладики ташлар билән әһдидаш болисән; Явайи һайванларму сән билән енақ өтиду.
For the stones of the fielde shall be in league with thee, and the beastes of the field shall be at peace with thee.
24 Сән чедириңниң теч-аманлиқта болидиғанлиғини билип йетисән; Мал-мүлкүңни едитлисәң, һәммә немәңниң тәл екәнлигини байқайсән.
And thou shalt knowe, that peace shall be in thy tabernacle, and thou shalt visite thine habitation, and shalt not sinne.
25 Нәслиң көп болидиғанлиғини, Пәрзәнтлириңниң от-чөптәк көп екәнлигини билисән.
Thou shalt perceiue also, that thy seede shalbe great, and thy posteritie as the grasse of the earth.
26 Сән өз вақтидила йетилип жиғилған бир бағ буғдайдәк, Пәқәт вақит-саитиң пишип йетилгәндила йәрлигиңгә кирисән.
Thou shalt goe to thy graue in a ful age, as a ricke of corne commeth in due season into the barne.
27 Биз өзимиз буни тәкшүрүп көргәнмиз — улар һәқиқәтән шундақтур. Шуңа өзүң аңлап бил, буларни өзүңгә тәтбиқлап ойлап бақ».
Lo, thus haue we inquired of it, and so it is: heare this and knowe it for thy selfe.
