1 Пәрвәрдигар Аюпқа йәнә җававән: —
And the Lord addressed Job, and said,
2 «Һәммигә Қадир билән дәвалашидиған киши униңға тәрбийә қилмақчиму? Тәңрини әйиплигүчи киши җавап бәрсун!» — деди.
Will he that contendeth with the Almighty yet find fault? him that reproveth God answer this.
3 Аюп болса Пәрвәрдигарға җававән: —
Then answered Job the Lord, and said,
4 «Мана, мән һеч немигә яримаймән; Саңа қандақ җавап берәләймән? Қолум билән ағзимни етип гәптин қалай;
Behold, I am too vile: what shall I answer thee? my hand do I place on my mouth.
5 Бир қетим дедим, мән йәнә җавап бәрмәймән; Шундақ, икки қетим десәм мән қайта сөзлимәймән» — деди.
Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will not repeat it again.
6 Андин Пәрвәрдигар қара қуюн ичидин Аюпқа җавап берип мундақ деди: —
Then answered the Lord unto Job out of the storm-wind, and said,
7 «Әркәктәк белиңни чиң бағла, Андин Мән сәндин сорай; Сән Мени хәвәрдар қилғин.
Do but gird up like a mighty man thy loins: I will ask thee, and do thou inform me.
8 Сән дәрвәқә Мениң һөкүмимни пүтүнләй бекарға кәткүзмәкчимусән? Сән өзүңни һәққаний қилимән дәп, Мени натоғра дәп әйиплимәкчимусән?
Wilt thou indeed annul my decree? wilt thou condemn me, in order that thou mayest appear righteous?
9 Сениң Тәңриниң билигидәк [күчлүк] бир билигиң барму? Сән Униңдәк аваз билән гүлдүрләләмсән?
But if thou hast an arm like God, or if thou canst thunder loudly like him:
10 Қени, һазир өзүңни шан-шәрәп һәм салапәт билән безивал! Һәйвәт һәм көркәмлик билән өзүңни кийиндүрүп,
Then do deck thyself with excellence and greatness, and clothe thyself in majesty and glory.
11 Ғәзивиңниң қәһрини чечип ташлиғин, Шуниң билән һәр бир тәкәббурниң көзигә тикилип қарап, Андин уни пәсләштүргин.
Scatter abroad the ragings of thy wrath, and look on every proud one, and humble him.
12 Раст, һәр бир тәкәббурниң көзигә тикилип қарап, Андин уни бойсундурғин, Рәзилләрни өз орнида дәссәп йәр билән йәксан қил!
Look on every proud one, and bend him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
13 Уларни биргә топиға көмүп қой, Йошурун җайда уларниң йүзлирини кепән билән етип қойғин;
Hide them in the dust altogether: bind up their faces in concealment.
14 Шундақ қилалисаң, Мән сени етирап қилип махтаймәнки, «Оң қолуң өзүңни қутқузиду!».
Then will I also myself praise thee, when thy own right hand hath helped thee.
15 Мән сениң билән тәң яратқан бегемотни көрүп қой; У калидәк от-чөп йәйду.
Only behold Behemoth, which I made near thee: grass he eateth like the ox.
16 Мана, униң белидики күчини, Қосақ мускуллиридики қудритини һазир көрүп қой!
Only see, [how great] is his strength in his loins, and his force, in the muscles of his belly.
17 У қуйруғини кедир дәриғидәк егиду, Униң йотилиридики сиңирлири бир-биригә чиң тоқуп қоюлған.
He stretcheth out his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his loins are closely wrapped together.
18 Униң сүйәклири мис турубидәктур, Пут-қоллири төмүр чоқмақларға охшайду.
His bones are like pipes of brass: his frame is like bars of iron.
19 У Тәңри яратқан җаниварларниң бешидур, Пәқәт униң Яратқучисила униңға Өз қиличини йеқинлаштуралайду.
He is the first in rank of the works of God: he that made him can alone bring his sword near unto him.
20 Тағлар униңға йемәклик тәминләйду; У йәрдә униң йенида даладики һәр бир һайванлар ойнайду.
But truly the mountains bear for him his food, and all the beasts of the field play there.
21 У сәдәпгүл дәрәқлигиниң астида ятиду, Қомушлуқ һәм сазлиқниң салқинида ятиду.
Under shady trees he lieth down, in the covert of the reeds, and swamp.
22 Сәдәпгүллүкләр өз сайиси билән уни япиду; Өстәңдики таллар уни орап туриду.
Shady trees cover him as his shadow: willows of the brook encompass him about.
23 Қара, дәрия тешип кетиду, бирақ у һеч һодуқмайду; Һәтта Иордандәк бир дәрияму униң ағзиға өркәшләп урулсиму, йәнила хатирҗәм туривериду.
Behold, a river sweepeth violently along, but he hasteneth not away: he remaineth quiet, though a Jordan rusheth up to his mouth.
24 Униң алдиға берип уни тутқили боламду? Уни тутуп, андин бурнини тешип чүлүк өткүзгили боламду?
Can one catch him before his eyes? pierce his nose by means of snares?—
