1 Андин Нааматлиқ Зофар җававән мундақ деди: —
Then Zophar the Naamathite answered,
2 «Мени беарам қилған хияллар җавап беришкә үндәватиду, Чүнки қәлбим беарамлиқта өртәнмәктә.
"Therefore do my thoughts give answer to me, even by reason of my haste that is in me.
3 Мән маңа һақарәт кәлтүрүп, мени әйипләйдиған сөзләрни аңлидим, Шуңа мениң роһ-зеһним мени җавап беришкә қистиди.
I have heard the reproof which puts me to shame. The spirit of my understanding answers me.
4 Сән шуни билмәмсәнки, Йәр йүзидә Адәм атимиз апиридә болғандин бери,
Do you not know this from old time, since humankind was placed on earth,
5 Рәзилләрниң ғалипә тәнтәниси қисқидур, Ипласларниң хошаллиғи бирдәмликтур.
that the triumphing of the wicked is short, the joy of the godless but for a moment?
6 Ундақ кишиниң шан-шәриви асманға йәткән болсиму, Беши булутларға тақашсиму,
Though his height mount up to the heavens, and his head reach to the clouds,
7 Йәнила өзиниң поқидәк йоқап кетиду; Уни көргәнләр: «У нәдидур?» дәйду.
yet he shall perish forever like his own dung. Those who have seen him shall say, 'Where is he?'
8 У чүштәк учуп кетиду, Қайта тапқили болмайду; Кечидики ғайипанә аламәттәк у һайдиветилиду.
He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found. Yes, he shall be chased away like a vision of the night.
9 Уни көргән көз иккинчи уни көрмәйду, Униң турған җайи уни қайта учратмайду.
The eye which saw him shall see him no more, neither shall his place any more see him.
10 Униң оғуллири мискинләргә шәпқәт қилишқа мәҗбурлиниду; Шуниңдәк у һәтта өз қоли билән байлиқлирини қайтуруп бериду.
His children shall seek the favor of the poor. His hands shall give back his wealth.
11 Униң устиханлири яшлиқ мағдуриға толған болсиму, Бирақ [униң мағдури] униң билән биллә топа-чаңда йетип қалиду.
His bones are full of his youth, but youth shall lie down with him in the dust.
12 Гәрчә рәзиллик униң ағзида татлиқ тетиған болсиму, У уни тил астиға йошурған болсиму,
"Though wickedness is sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue,
13 У уни жутқуси кәлмәй меһрини үзәлмисиму, У уни ағзида қалдурсиму,
though he spare it, and will not let it go, but keep it still within his mouth;
14 Бирақ униң қарнидики тамиғи өзгирип, Кобра иланниң зәһәригә айлиниду.
yet his food in his bowels is turned. It is cobra venom within him.
15 У байлиқларни жутуветиду, бирақ уларни яндуриду; Худа уларни ашқазинидин чиқириветиду.
He has swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again. God will cast them out of his belly.
16 У кобра иланниң зәһәрини шорайду, Чар иланниң нәштири уни өлтүриду.
He shall suck cobra venom. The viper's tongue shall kill him.
17 У қайтидин ериқ-өстәңләргә һәвәс билән қаралмайду, Бал вә сериқ май билән ақидиған дәриялардин һозурлиналмайду.
He shall not look at the rivers, the flowing streams of honey and butter.
18 У еришкәнни жуталмай қайтуриду, Тиҗарәт қилған пайдисидин у һеч һозурлиналмайду.
That for which he labored he shall restore, and shall not swallow it down. According to the substance that he has gotten, he shall not rejoice.
19 Чүнки у мискинләрни езип, уларни ташливәткән; У өзи салмиған өйни егиливалған.
For he has oppressed and forsaken the poor. He has violently taken away a house, and he shall not build it up.
20 У ачкөзлүктин әсла зерикмәйду, У арзулиған нәрсилиридин һеч қайсисини сақлап қалалмайду.
"Because he knew no quietness within him, he shall not save anything of that in which he delights.
21 Униңға жутувалғидәк һеч нәрсә қалмайду, Шуңа униң баяшатлиғи мәңгүлүк болмайду.
There was nothing left that he did not devour, therefore his prosperity shall not endure.
22 Униң тоққузи тәл болғанда, туюқсиз қисилчилиққа учрайду; Һәр бир езилгүчиниң қоли униңға қарши чиқиду.
In the fullness of his sufficiency, distress shall overtake him. The hand of everyone who is in misery shall come on him.
23 У қосиғини тойғузиватқинида, Худа дәһшәтлик ғәзивини униңға чүшүриду; У ғизалиниватқанда [ғәзивини] униң үстигә яғдуриду.
When he is about to fill his belly, he will cast the fierceness of his wrath on him. It will rain on him while he is eating.
24 У төмүр қуралдин қечип қутулсиму, Бирақ мис оқя уни санҗийду.
He shall flee from the iron weapon. The bronze arrow shall strike him through.
25 Тәккән оқ кәйнидин тартип чиқиривелгинидә, Ялтирақ оқ учи өттин чиқиривелгинидә, Вәһимиләр уни басиду.
He draws it forth, and it comes out of his body. Yes, the glittering point comes out of his liver. Terrors are on him.
26 Зулмәт қараңғулуқ униң байлиқлирини жутуветишкә тәйяр туриду, Инсан пүвлимигән от уни жутувалиду, Униң чедирида қелип қалғанлириниму жутуветиду.
All darkness is laid up for his treasures. An unfanned fire shall devour him. It shall consume that which is left in his tent.
27 Асманлар униң қәбиһлигини ашкарилайду; Йәр-зиминму униңға қарши қозғилиду.
The heavens shall reveal his iniquity. The earth shall rise up against him.
28 Униң мал-дунияси елип кетилиду, [Худаниң] ғәзәплик күнидә кәлкүн улғийип өй-бисатини ғулитиду.
The increase of his house shall depart. They shall rush away in the day of his wrath.
29 Худаниң рәзил адәмгә бәлгүлигән несивиси мана шундақтур, Бу Худа униңға бекиткән мирастур».
This is the portion of a wicked man from God, the heritage appointed to him by God."
