1 Бу ишлардин кейин падиша Аһашверош Агагийлардин болған Һаммидатаниң оғли Һаманниң мәнсивини өстүрди; падиша униң орнини өстүрүп, өзи билән биллә ишләйдиған барлиқ әмирләрниңкидин жуқури қилди.

After these things did king Ahasuerus promote Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above all the princes that were with him.

2 Падиша униң һәққидә әмир қилғачқа, орда дәрвазисида турған падишаниң барлиқ әмәлдарлири Һаманниң алдида тазим қилип баш уратти; лекин Мордикай болса Һаманға нә тазим қилмиди, нә баш урмиди.

And all the king's servants, that were in the king's gate, bowed down, and prostrated themselves before Haman; for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai bowed not down, nor prostrated himself before him.

3 Орда дәрвазисида турған падишаниң хизмәткарлири Мордикайдин: — Сили немишкә падишаниң әмригә хилаплиқ қилидила? — дәп сорайтти.

Then the king's servants, that were in the king's gate, said unto Mordecai: 'Why transgressest thou the king's commandment?'

4 Шундақ болдики, улар һәр күни несиһәт қилишқан болсиму, у қулақ салмиғандин кейин, улар: — Қени, Мордикайниң қилған бу ишиға йол қоюламду-йоқ, бир көрәйличу, дәп буни Һаманға ейтти; чүнки у уларға өзиниң Йәһудий екәнлигини ейтқан еди.

Now it came to pass, when they spoke daily unto him, and he hearkened not unto them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mordecai's words would stand; for he had told them that he was a Jew.

5 Һаман Мордикайниң өзигә баш уруп тазим қилмиғанлиғини көрүп қаттиқ ғәзәпләнди.

And when Haman saw that Mordecai bowed not down, nor prostrated himself before him, then was Haman full of wrath.

6 Лекин у «Мордикайниң үстигә қол селишни кичиккинә бир иш» дәп һесаплиди; чүнки улар Мордикайниң миллитини униңға дәп қойған еди; шуңа Һаман Аһашверошниң пүткүл падишалиғидики Йәһудийларни, йәни Мордикайниң хәлқини бирақла йоқитиш йолини издәп жүрди.

But it seemed contemptible in his eyes to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had made known to him the people of Mordecai; wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai.

7 Падиша Аһашверошниң он иккинчи жили биринчи айда, йәни Нисан ейида, бириси Һаманниң алдида [қутлуқ] ай-күнни бекитиш үчүн һәр күн, һәр ай бойичә «пур», йәни чәк ташливиди, он иккинчи айға, йәни «Адар ейи»ға чиқти.

In the first month, which is the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, which is the month Adar.

8 Һаман падиша Аһашверошқа: — Падишаһлиқлириниң һәр қайси өлкилиридики әл-милләтләр арисида чечилип яшаватқан бир хәлиқ бар; уларниң қанун-бәлгүлимилири башқа хәлиқләрниңкигә охшимайду, улар алийлириниң қанун-бәлгүлимилиригиму бойсунмайду; шуңа уларниң яшишиға йол қоюш алийлириға һеч пайда йәткүзмәйду.

And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus: 'There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the peoples in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from those of every people; neither keep they the king's laws; therefore it profiteth not the king to suffer them.

9 Әгәр падишасимға лайиқ көрүнсә, уларни йоқитиш тоғрилиқ ярлиқ пүтүп чүшүргәйла; мана мән өз йенимдин он миң талант күмүчни алийлириниң ғәзнилиригә селиш үчүн падишалиқниң ишлирини башқуридиған хадимларниң қолиға тапшуримән, деди.

If it please the king, let it be written that they be destroyed; and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver into the hands of those that have the charge of the king's business, to bring it into the king's treasuries.'

10 Шуниң билән падиша өзиниң бармиғидин үзүкни сийрип чиқирип, Йәһудийларниң рәқиби, Агагий Һаммидатаниң оғли Һаманға берип:

And the king took his ring from his hand, and gave it unto Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the Jews' enemy.

11 — Шу күмүчләрни өзүңгә инъам қилдим, у хәлиқниму саңа тапшурдум, уларни қандақ қилишни халисаң, шундақ қил! — деди.

And the king said unto Haman: 'The silver is given to thee, the people also, to do with them as it seemeth good to thee.'

12 Андин биринчи айниң он үчинчи күни падишаниң мирзилири чақирилип, ярлиқ Һаманниң барлиқ тапилиғини бойичә пүтүлди; у һәр қайси өлкиләргә өз йезиғида, һәр қайси әл-милләткә өз тилида яздурулуп, һәр бир өлкиләрниң валийлириға, һәр бир әл-милләтниң әмирлиригә әвәтилди; ярлиқ падиша Аһашверошниң намида пүтүлгән болуп, униң үзүк мөһүри билән печәтләнди.

Then were the king's scribes called in the first month, on the thirteenth day thereof, and there was written, according to all that Haman commanded, unto the king's satraps, and to the governors that were over every province, and to the princes of every people; to every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language; in the name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and it was sealed with the king's ring.

13 Ярлиқ мәктуплири чапармәнләрниң қоли билән падишалиқниң һәр қайси өлкилиригә йәткүзүлди; униңда бир күн ичидә — Он иккинчи айниң, йәни Адар ейиниң он үчинчи күни қери-яш, балилар вә аяллар демәй, барлиқ Йәһудийларни қоймай қирип, өлтүрүп, нәсли қурутуветилсун, уларниң мал-мүлки олҗа қилинсун, дейилгән еди.

And letters were sent by posts into all the king's provinces, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.

14 Шу ярлиқ һәр бир өлкидә җакалиниш үчүн, шундақла шу күни һәр бир хәлиқ шундақ қилишқа тәйяр болуп туруши үчүн, мәктупниң көчүрмә нусхилири һәр бир әл-милләткә елан қилинмақчи болди.

The copy of the writing, to be given out for a decree in every province, was to be published unto all peoples, that they should be ready against that day.

15 Чапармәнләр падишаниң әмри бойичә дәрһал йолға чиқти; ярлиқ Шушан қәлъәсиниң өзидиму елан қилинди. Бу чағда падиша Һаман билән шарап ичишкә олтарған еди. Лекин Шушан шәһиридикиләр дәккә-дүккигә чөмүп кетишти.

The posts went forth in haste by the king's commandment, and the decree was given out in Shushan the castle; and the king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city of Shushan was perplexed.
