1 Мән шуларниң һәммисини ениқлаш үчүн көңүл қойдум; шуни байқидимки, мәйли һәққаний киши яки дана киши болсун, шундақла уларниң барлиқ қилғанлири Худаниң қолидидур, дәп байқидим; инсан өзигә муһәббәт яки нәпрәтниң келидиғанлиғини һеч билмәйду. Униң алдида һәр қандақ иш болуши мүмкин.
For all this I laid to my heart, even to explore all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God. No man understands, either love or hatred. All is before them.
2 Һәммә адәмгә охшаш ишлар охшаш пети келиду; һәққаний вә рәзил кишигә, меһриван кишигә, пак вә напак, қурбанлиқ қилғучи вә қурбанлиқ қилмиғучиғиму охшаш қисмәт болиду; яхши адәмгә қандақ болса, гунакарға шундақ болиду; қәсәм ичкүчигә вә қәсәм ичиштин қорққучиғиму охшаш болиду.
All things come alike to all. There is one event to the righteous man and to the wicked man, to the good man, and to the clean man, and to the unclean man, to him who sacrifices and to him who does not sacrifice, as is the good man, so is the sinner, and he who swears, as he who fears an oath.
3 Мана һәммигә охшашла бу ишниң келидиғанлиғи қуяш астидики ишлар арисида күлпәтлик иштур; униң үстигә, инсан балилириниң көңүллири яманлиққа толған, пүтүн һаятида көңлидә тәлвилик туриду; андин улар өлгәнләргә қошулиду.
This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that there is one event to all. Yea also, the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.
4 Чүнки тирикләргә қошулған киши үчүн болса үмүт бар; чүнки, тирик ишт өлгән ширдин әла.
Because to him who is joined with all the living there is hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion.
5 Тирикләр болса өзлириниң өлидиғанлиғини билиду; бирақ өлгәнләр болса һеч немини билмәйду; уларниң һеч инъами йәнә болмайду; улар һәтта адәмниң есидин көтирилип кетиду, қайта кәлмәйду.
For the living know that they shall die, but the dead know not anything, nor have they any more a reward, for the memory of them is forgotten.
6 Уларниң муһәббити, нәприти вә һәсәтхорлуғиму аллиқачан йоқалған; қуяш астида қилинған ишларниң һечқайсисидин уларниң мәңгүгә қайта несивиси йоқтур.
As well their love, as their hatred and their envy, has perished long ago, nor have they any more a portion forever in anything that is done under the sun.
7 Барғин, нениңни хошаллиқ билән йәп, шарабиңни хушхуйлуқ билән ичкин; чүнки Худа аллиқачан мундақ қилишиңдин рази болған.
Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart, for God has already accepted thy works.
8 Кийим-кечәклириң һәрдайим аппақ болсун, хушбуй май бешиңдин кәтмисун.
Let thy garments be always white, and let not thy head lack oil.
9 Худа саңа қуяш астида тәқсим қилған бемәна өмрүңниң барлиқ күнлиридә, йәни бимәниликтә өткүзгән барлиқ күнлириңдә, сөйүмлүк аялиң билән биллә һаяттин һозур алғин; чүнки бу сениң һаятиңдики несивәң вә қуяш астидики барлиқ тартқан җапайиңниң әҗридур.
Live joyfully with the wife whom thou love all the days of thy life of vanity, which he has given thee under the sun, all thy days of vanity. For that is thy portion in life, and in thy labor in which thou labor under the sun.
10 Қолуң тутқанни барлиқ күчүң билән қилғин; чүнки сән баридиған тәһтисарада һеч хизмәт, мәхсәт-план, билим яки һекмәт болмайду. (Sheol h7585)
Whatever thy hand finds to do, do with thy might, for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where thou go. (Sheol h7585)
11 Мән зеһнимни жиғип, қуяш астида көрдумки, мусабиқидә ғәлибә йәлтапанға болмас, я җәңдә ғәлибә палванға болмас, я нан дана кишигә кәлмәс, я байлиқлар йорутулғанларға кәлмәс, я илтипат билимликләргә болмас — чүнки пәйт вә тәсадипийлиқ уларниң һәммисигә келиду.
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill, but time and chance happens to them all.
12 Бәрһәқ, инсанму өз вақти-саитини билмәйду; белиқлар рәһимсиз торға елинғандәк, қушлар тапан-қапқанқа илинғандәк, буларға охшаш инсан балилири яман бир күндә қапқанқа илиниду, қапқан бешиға чүшиду.
For man also does not know his time. As the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, even so are the sons of men snared in an evil time when it falls suddenly upon them.
13 Мән йәнә қуяш астида даналиқниң бу мисалини көрдум, у мени чоңқур тәсирләндүрди;
I have also seen wisdom under the sun this way, and it seemed great to me:
14 Кичик бир шәһәр бар еди; униңға қарши бүйүк бир падиша чиқип, уни қоршап, униңға һуҗум қилидиған йоған потәйләрни қурди.
There was a little city, and few men within it. And there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it.
15 Бирақ шәһәрдин намрат бир дана киши тепилип қалди; у уни өз даналиғи билән қутулдурди; бирақ кейин, һеч ким бу намрат кишини есигә кәлтүрмиди.
Now there was found in it a poor wise man. And he by his wisdom delivered the city, yet no man remembered that same poor man.
16 Шуниң билән мән: «Даналиқ күч-қудрәттин әвзәл» — дедим; бирақ шу намрат кишиниң даналиғи кейин көзгә илинмайду, униң сөзлири аңланмайду.
Then I said, Wisdom is better than strength. Nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.
17 Дана кишиниң җим-җитлиқта ейтқан сөзлири ахмақлар үстидин һоқуқ сүргүчиниң вақирашлиридин ениқ аңлинар.
The words of the wise heard in quiet are better than the cry of him who rules among fools.
18 Даналиқ уруш қураллиридин әвзәлдур; бирақ бир гунакар зор яхшилиқни һалак қилиду.
Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good.
