1 Баш каһин Истипандин: — Буларниң ейтқанлири растму? — дәп сориди.
Then said the high priest, Are these things so?
2 Истипан мундақ җавап бәрди: — Қериндашлар вә ата-бовилар, сөзүмгә қулақ селиңлар! Атимиз Ибраһим техи Месопотамийә районида туруватқанда, йәни Һаран шәһиригә көчүп маканлишиштин илгири, шан-шәрәпниң Егиси Худа униңға аян болуп:
And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran,
3 «Сән өз жутуң вә уруқ-җәмәтиңдин айрилип чиқип, Мән саңа көрситидиған зиминға барғин» дегән еди.
And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.
4 Буниң билән у Калдийләрниң зиминини ташлап, Һаран шәһиригә берип олтирақлашти. Атиси өлгәндин кейин, Худа уни бу зиминға, йәни силәр һазир туруватқан зиминға йөткәп кәлди.
Then came he out of the land of the Chaldæans, and dwelt in Haran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell.
5 У вақитта, [Худа] униңға бу зиминдин мирас бәрмиди, һәтта униңқа тәвә пут қойғидәкму бир йәр бәрмигән еди. Гәрчә у техичә пәрзәнт көрмигән болсиму, [Худа] бу зиминни униңға вә униң нәслигә егилиги болуш үчүн беришкә вәдә қилди.
And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.
6 Андин Худа униңға мундақ деди: «Сениң нәсиллириң яқа жутта мусапир болуп туриду, шу жуттикиләр уларни қул қилип төрт йүз жил хорлайду.
And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.
7 Бирақ уларни қуллуққа салған әлни җазалаймән», деди Худа, «вә униңдин кейин, [нәсиллириң] у йәрдин чиқип, бу йәрдә Мениң ибадәт-хизмитимдә болиду».
And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.
8 Кейин Худа Ибраһим билән бәлгүси хәтнә болған әһдини түзгән, шуниң билән Исһақ униңдин төрәлди; [Ибраһим] уни сәккизинчи күни хәтнә қилди; шундақ қилип Исһақтин Яқуп [төрәлди], Яқуптин он икки «қәбилә атиси» [төрәлди].
And he gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.
9 Кейин, «қәбилә атилири» иниси Йүсүпкә һәсәт қилип, уни Мисирға қуллуққа сетивәтти. Лекин Худа униң билән биллә болуп,
And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,
10 уни барлиқ җәбир-җапалардин қутқузуп, уни Мисир падишаси Пирәвнниң нәзиридә илтипатқа егә қилип, униңға данишмәнлик ата қилди. Падиша уни Мисирға баш вәзир, ордисиға баш ғоҗидар қилди.
And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.
11 Кейин, еғир ачарчилиқ пүткүл Мисир вә Қанаан йәрлирини бесип, зор қийинчилиқ болди. Ата-бовилиримиз озуқ-түлүк тапалмиди.
Now there came a dearth over all the land of Egypt and Canaan, and great affliction: and our fathers found no sustenance.
12 Яқуп әнди Мисирда ашлиқ барлиғини аңлиған болуп, [оғуллирини], йәни ата-бовилиримизни у йәргә биринчи қетим әвәтти.
But when Jacob heard that there was grain in Egypt, he sent out our fathers first.
13 Иккинчи қетим барғанда, Йүсүп акилириға өзини ашкарилиди. Шуниң билән Йүсүпниң җәмәтидикиләр Пирәвн падишаға мәлум болди.
And at the second time Joseph was made known to his brethren; and Joseph’s kindred was made known unto Pharaoh.
14 Андин Йүсүп атиси Яқупниң алдиға хәвәр йәткүзүп, уни пүтүн аилә-җәмәти билән, җәмий йәтмиш бәш кишини Мисирға өзигә чақирди.
Then sent Joseph, and called his father Jacob to him, and all his kindred, threescore and fifteen souls.
15 Шуниң билән Яқуп Мисирға чүшти вә шу йәрдә өлди; кейин [униңдин болған] ата-бовилиримизму шу йәрдә өлди.
So Jacob went down into Egypt, and died, he, and our fathers,
16 Уларниң җәсәтлири кейин Шәкәм шәһиригә қайтурулуп, Ибраһим бурун Һаморниң оғуллиридин мәлум пулға сетивалған, Шәкәмдики бир йәрликкә қоюлди.
And were carried over into Shechem, and laid in the sepulchre that Abraham bought for a sum of money of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem.
17 Лекин Худа Ибраһимға әсли қилған вәдиниң вақти йеқинлашқанда, Мисирда туруватқан [Исраил] хәлқиниң нопуси хелә көпәйгән еди.
But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,
18 У вақитта, Йүсүптин хәвири болмиған йеңи бир падиша Мисирда тәхткә чиқти.
Till another king arose, which knew not Joseph.
19 Бу падиша қовмимизға һейлә-микирләр билән муамилә қилип, ата-бовилиримизни езип хорлиди, һәтта уларни өз бовақлирини һаят қалдурмаслиғи үчүн ташливетишкә мәҗбур қилди.
The same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live.
20 Муса мана шу чағларда туғулған еди. У Худаниң алдида алаһидә йеқимлиқ бала болуп, атисиниң өйидә үч ай беқилди.
In which time Moses was born, and was exceeding fair, and nourished up in his father’s house three months:
21 Кейин у сиртқа қоюп қоюлғанда, Пирәвнниң қизи уни [судин] елип, өз оғли қилип чоң қилди.
And when he was cast out, Pharaoh’s daughter took him up, and nourished him for her own son.
22 Муса Мисирлиқларниң барлиқ билим-һекмити билән тәрбийилинип, сөздә вә әмәлдә интайин қабилийәтлик адәм болуп чиқти.
And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds.
23 Лекин униң туғулғиниға қириқ жил тошқанда, өз қериндашлири болған Исраилларниң һалиға йетиш нийитигә кәлди.
And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.
24 У улардин бириниң увал қилинип бозәк қилиниватқанлиғини көрүп, уни қоғдап, харланған киши үчүн интиқам елип харлиғучи Мисирлиқни өлтүрди.
And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him that was oppressed, and smote the Egyptian:
25 Чүнки у өз қериндашлирини: — Худа мениң қолум арқилиқ бизгә қутқузуш йолини ачқан дәп чүшинидиғу, дәп ойлиған еди. Лекин улар буни чүшәнмиди.
For he supposed his brethren would have understood how that God by his hand would deliver them: but they understood not.
26 Әтиси, Муса уларниң арисидики бир уруш-җедәлни көрүп, арисиға кирип яраштурмақчи болуп: Силәр қериндаш туруп, немишкә бир-бириңларға йолсизлиқ қиливатисиләр? — деди.
And the next day he shewed himself unto them as they strove, and would have set them at one again, saying, Sirs, ye are brethren; why do ye wrong one to another?
27 Бирақ қериндишини йолсиз бозәк қилған киши уни чәткә иштириветип: — Ким сени бизгә баш һәм сорақчи болсун дәпту?!
But he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?
28 Мениму түнүгүнки Мисирлиқни өлтүргәндәк өлтүрмәкчимусән? — деди.
Wilt thou kill me, as thou diddest the Egyptian yesterday?
29 Муса бу сөзни аңлап қорқуп, Мисирдин қечип Мидиян зиминиға берип, у йәрдә мусапир болуп туруп қалди. У шу йәрдә икки оғул пәрзәнт көрди.
Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Midian, where he begat two sons.
30 Қириқ жил тошқандин кейин, Синай теғиниң йенидики чөлдә, көйүватқан бир чатқаллиқниң от ялқунида бир пәриштә униңға көрүнди.
And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sinai an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.
31 Бу ғайипанә көрүнүшни көргән Муса униңға интайин һәйран болуп қалди; буниң қандақ иш екәнлигини биләй дәп йеқинрақ барғанда Пәрвәрдигарниң авази аңлинип:
When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the Lord came unto him,
32 «Мән сениң ата-бовилириңниң Худаси, йәни Ибраһим, Исһақ вә Яқупниң Худасидурмән» деди. Муса қорқунучта титрәп, қарашқиму җүръәт қилалмиди.
Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.
33 Пәрвәрдигар униңға йәнә: — Айиғиңни селивәт; чүнки сән туруватқан йәр муқәддәстур.
Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.
34 Мән дәрһәқиқәт Мисирда туруватқан хәлқимниң харлиниватқанлиғини көрдүм, уларниң налә-пәрядлирини аңлидим. Шуңа мән уларни елип чиққили чүштүм. Әнди барғин, мән сени Мисирға әвәтәй!» деди.
I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my people which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come down to deliver them. And now come, I will send thee into Egypt.
35 Мана һелиқи кишиләр: «Ким сени бизгә баш һәм сорақчи болсун дәпту!?» дәп рәт қилған дәл мошу Мусани, Худа униңға чатқаллиқта көрүнгән пәриштиниң қоли билән Исраилларға һәм баш һәм қутқузғучи болушқа әвәтти.
This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.
36 Әнә шу Муса хәлиққә йетәкчилик қилип, уларни [Мисирдин] чиқарди һәмдә Мисир зиминида, Қизил деңизниң бойида вә қириқ жилни өткүзгән чөлдә карамәтләрни вә мөҗизилик аламәтләрни көрсәтти.
He brought them out, after that he had shewed wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red sea, and in the wilderness forty years.
37 Әнә шу Муса өзи Исраилларға: «Худа қериндашлириңлар арисидин маңа охшаш бир пәйғәмбәрни тикләйду» дегән еди.
This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.
38 Чөл-баявандики җамаәткә һәмраһ болған, Синай теғида өзигә сөз қилған пәриштә билән биллә болған, ата-бовилиримиз билән биллә болған һәмраһ дәл әнә шу еди; һаятлиқ бәхш йәткүзидиған вәһийләрни бизгә йәткүзүш үчүн қобул қилғучи болған дәл әнә шу еди;
This is he, that was in the assembly in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sinai, and with our fathers: who received the living oracles to give unto us:
39 шундақ болсиму, ата-бовилиримиз униңға итаәт қилишни халимай, уни чәткә қеқип, көңлидә Мисирға қайтишни арзу қилди;
To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,
40 шуңа улар Һарунға: — «Бизгә йол башлайдиған илаһларни ясап бәргин! Чүнки бизни Мисир зиминидин елип чиққан һелиқи Мусаниң немә болуп кәткәнлигини биләлмидуқ» деди.
Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
41 Шуниң билән шу күнләрдә улар мозай шәклидә бир бут ясап, бу мәбудқа атап қурбанлиқ сунди. Шундақ қилип улар өз қоллири билән ясиған бир нәрсини хошал-хурамлиқ билән тәбрикләшкә киришти.
And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.
42 Лекин Худа улардин йүзини өрүп, уларни асмандики юлтуз қошунлириға чоқунушқа қоюп бәрди. Шуниң билән пәйғәмбәрләрниң муқәддәс язмисида пүтүлгәдәк, [Худа уларни мундақ әйиплиди]: — «Силәр чөл-баяванда болған қириқ жил җәрянида қилған қурбанлиқ-һәдийәләрни һәқиқәтән Маңа елип кәлгәнмусиләр, и Исраил җәмәти?
Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?
43 Бәрһәқ, силәр чоқунуш үчүн ясиған мәбудлар, йәни «Молоқ»ниң чедири һәм бутуң болған «Рәмфан»ниң юлтуз бәлгүсини көтирип маңдиңлар; әнди Мән силәрни әсир қилип Бабилдин жираққа сүргүн қилдуримән».
Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.
44 Ата-бовилиримиз чөлдин кәзгән вақтида, «һөкүм-гувалиқ» чедири уларниң оттурисида тикләнгән еди; у дәл Мусаға сөз-калам Йәткүзгүчиниң буйруғинидәк, көрситилгән өрнәк бойичә ясалған еди.
Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.
45 Шу ибадәт чедирини ата-бовилиримиз илгиридикиләрдинму егидарчилиғиға тапшуруп, Йәшуаниң йетәкчилигидә, Худа уларниң алдидила қоғлиған әлләрниң зиминлирини бесивалғинида, уни бу йәргә елип кәлгән; чедир шундақла [падиша] Давутниң заманиғичә турған.
Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Joshua into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;
46 Давут Худаниң шапаитигә еришип, Яқупниң Худаси үчүн бир муқим макан селишқа иҗазәт сориған.
Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.
47 Бирақ кейин, [Худа] үчүн ибадәтхана салған [Давут әмәс], әмәлийәттә Сулайман болди.
But Solomon built him an house.
48 Һалбуки, Һәммидин Алий Болғучи инсанниң қоллири билән ясиған маканларда турмайду; худди пәйғәмбәр мундақ дегинидәк: —
Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
49 «Асманлар Мениң тәхтим, Зимин болса аяқлиримға тәхтипәрдур, Әнди Маңа қандақ өй-имарәт ясимақчисиләр? Маңа қандақ йәр арамгаһ болалайду?
Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
50 Буларниң һәммисини Мениң қолум яратқан әмәсмиди?»
Hath not my hand made all these things?
51 — Әй, бойни қаттиқ, жүриги вә қулиқи хәтнисиз болғанлар! Силәр Муқәддәс Роһ билән дайим қаршилишисиләр; силәр ата-бовилириңлар немә қилған болса, шуни охшаш қиливатисиләр!
Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
52 Пәйғәмбәрләрдин зади қайсисиға ата-бовилириңлар зиянкәшлик қилип бақмиған? Шундақ қилип улар «Һәққаний Болғучи»ниң келидиғанлиғини алдин җакалиғучиларни өлтүрүшкән. Әнди у өзи һазир кәлгәндә, силәр униңға сатқунлуқ қилғучи вә қатил болуп чиқтиңлар,
Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
53 И силәр Тәврат қанунини пәриштиләрниң әмри-тапилиғанлири билән тапшурувелип туруп, униңға әмәл қилмиғучилар!»
Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.
54 [Истипанниң] бу сөзлирини аңлиған [алий кеңәшмидикиләр] жүригигә [хәнҗәр] санҗилғандәк болуп, униңға чишлирини ғучурлатти.
When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.
55 Лекин у болса Муқәддәс Роһқа толған, көзлирини көккә тикип, Худаниң җуласини, шундақла униң оң йенида Әйсаниң турғанлиғини көрүп,
But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
56 — Қараңлар! Асманлар ечилип, Инсаноғлиниң Худаниң оң йенида турғанлиғини көрүватимән! — деди.
And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
57 Улар буниңға қулақлирини қоллири билән етивелип, авазини қаттиқ көтирип вақиришип бирликтә униңға йопурулуп келивиди,
Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,
58 уни шәһәрниң сиртиға иштирип чиқирип, чалма-кесәк қилишқа башлиди. [Уни әрз қилған] гувачилар [уни чалма-кесәк қилиштин авал] чапанлирини Саул исимлиқ бир яшниң пути алдида қоюп қоюшти.
And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul.
59 Улар Истипанни чалма-кесәк қилғинида у: — И Рәб Әйса, мениң роһумни қобул қилғайсән! — дәп нида қилди.
And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
60 Андин у тизлинип туруп қаттиқ аваз билән: — И Рәб, бу гунаниң һесавини улардин алмиғайсән, — деди. У бу сөзни қилип болупла җан үзүп ухлап кәтти.
And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
