1 Йоаш тәхткә чиққан чеғида йәттә яшта еди, у Йерусалимда қириқ жил сәлтәнәт қилди. Униң анисиниң исми Зибияһ болуп, Бәәр-Шебалиқ еди.
Joash was seven years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Zibiah of Beer–sheba.
2 Йәһояда каһин һаят күнлиридә Йоаш Пәрвәрдигарниң нәзиридә дурус болғанни қилатти.
And Joash did that which was right in the sight of Yhwh all the days of Jehoiada the priest.
3 Йәһояда униңға икки хотун елип бәрди, у бир қанчә оғул-қиз пәрзәнт көрди.
And Jehoiada took for him two wives; and he begat sons and daughters.
4 Шуниңдин кейин Йоаш Пәрвәрдигарниң өйини қайта яситиш нийитигә кәлди,
And it came to pass after this, that Joash was minded to repair the house of Yhwh.
5 у каһинларни вә Лавийларни жиғип уларға: — Худайиңларниң өйини оңлитип туруш үчүн Йәһуда шәһәрлиригә берип, барлиқ Исраиллардин жиллиқ сәдиқә топлаңлар; бу ишни тездин беҗириңлар! — деди. Лекин Лавийлар бу ишни беҗиришкә анчә алдирап кәтмиди.
And he gathered together the priests and the Levites, and said to them, Go out unto the cities of Judah, and gather of all Israel money to repair the house of your God from year to year, and see that ye hasten the matter. Howbeit the Levites hastened it not.
6 Буни уққан падиша баш каһин Йәһоядани чақиртип униңға: — Өзлири немишкә Лавийларға Пәрвәрдигарниң қули Муса Исраил җамаитигә Худаниң гувалиғи сақлақлиқ чедир үчүн бәлгүлигән баҗни Йәһуда вә Йерусалимдин елип келишкә буйрумидила? — деди
And the king called for Jehoiada the chief, and said unto him, Why hast thou not required of the Levites to bring in out of Judah and out of Jerusalem the collection, according to the commandment of Moses the servant of Yhwh, and of the congregation of Israel, for the tabernacle of witness?
7 (чүнки әслидә рәзил хотун Аталия вә униң оғуллири Худаниң өйигә бөсүп кирип, Пәрвәрдигарниң өйидики барлиқ муқәддәс буюмларни елип Баал бутлириға атап тәқдим қиливәткән еди).
For the sons of Athaliah, that wicked woman, had broken up the house of God; and also all the dedicated things of the house of Yhwh did they bestow upon Baalim.
8 Шуниң билән падиша буйруқ чүшүрүп, бир сандуқ яситип Пәрвәрдигар өйиниң дәрвазисиниң сиртиға қойғузди;
And at the king’s commandment they made a chest, and set it without at the gate of the house of Yhwh.
9 андин: «Худаниң қули Муса чөлдә Исраилларниң үстигә бекиткән баҗни жиғип әкилип Пәрвәрдигарға тапшуруңлар» дегән бир уқтуруш Йәһуда билән Йерусалим тәвәсидә чиқирилди.
And they made a proclamation through Judah and Jerusalem, to bring in to Yhwh the collection that Moses the servant of God laid upon Israel in the wilderness.
10 Барлиқ әмәлдарлар вә барлиқ хәлиқ хошал һалда баҗни әкилип сандуқ толғичә униңға ташлиди.
And all the princes and all the people rejoiced, and brought in, and cast into the chest, until they had made an end.
11 Лавийлар пул сандуғини падиша бу ишқа мәсъул қилған кишиниң алдиға әкәлгәндә, улар баҗ пулиниң көп чүшкәнлигини көрсә, андин падишаниң кативи билән Баш каһинниң адими келип пул сандуғини өңтүрүп қуруқдиғандин кейин, йәнә әсли орниға апирип қоятти. һәр күни шундақ болуп турди; наһайити көп пул жиғилди.
Now it came to pass, that at what time the chest was brought unto the king’s office by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw that there was much money, the king’s scribe and the high priest’s officer came and emptied the chest, and took it, and carried it to his place again. Thus they did day by day, and gathered money in abundance.
12 Падиша билән Йәһояда пулни Пәрвәрдигар өйидики иш беҗиргүчиләргә тапшурди; улар [буниң билән] Пәрвәрдигарниң өйини оңшаш вә әслигә кәлтүрүш үчүн ташчилар билән яғаччиларни, төмүрчиләр билән мискәрләрни яллиди.
And the king and Jehoiada gave it to such as did the work of the service of the house of Yhwh, and hired masons and carpenters to repair the house of Yhwh, and also such as wrought iron and brass to mend the house of Yhwh.
13 Ишләмчиләр тохтимай ишлиди, оңшаш иши уларниң қолида оңушлуқ елип берилди; шундақ қилип улар Пәрвәрдигарниң өйини әслидики өлчәм-лаһийәси бойичә ясиди, шундақла уни толиму пухта қилип ясап чиқти.
So the workmen wrought, and the work was perfected by them, and they set the house of God in his state, and strengthened it.
14 Улар ишни пүттүргәндин кейин ешип қалған пулни падиша билән Йәһояданиң алдиға әкилип тапшурди. Улар буниң билән Пәрвәрдигарниң өйи үчүн һәр хил әсвап-буюмларни, җүмлидин ибадәт хизмитидики һәр хил буюмлар, көйдүрмә қурбанлиқларға мунасивәтлик қача-қуча, қазан-тәхсиләр вә һәр хил алтун-күмүч башқа буюмларни ясатти. Йәһояданиң барлиқ күнлиридә, улар Пәрвәрдигарниң өйидә көйдүрмә қурбанлиқни дайим сунуп турди.
And when they had finished it, they brought the rest of the money before the king and Jehoiada, whereof were made vessels for the house of Yhwh, even vessels to minister, and to offer withal, and spoons, and vessels of gold and silver. And they offered burnt offerings in the house of Yhwh continually all the days of Jehoiada.
15 Йәһояда қерип, яшайдиған йеши тошуп өлди; у өлгән чағда бир йүз оттуз яшта еди.
But Jehoiada waxed old, and was full of days when he died; an hundred and thirty years old was he when he died.
16 Улар уни «Давут шәһири»дә падишалар қатарида дәпнә қилди, чүнки у Исраилға һәм Худаға вә униң өйигә нисбәтән наһайити чоң төһпә көрсәткән еди.
And they buried him in the city of David among the kings, because he had done good in Israel, both toward God, and toward his house.
17 Йәһояда өлгәндин кейин Йәһудадики йолбашчилар падишаниң алдиға келип униңға баш урди; падиша улар көрсәткән мәслиһәтни мақул көрди.
Now after the death of Jehoiada came the princes of Judah, and made obeisance to the king. Then the king hearkened unto them.
18 Улар ата-бовилириниң Худаси Пәрвәрдигарниң өйидин ваз кечип, Ашәраһ вә бутларниң қуллуғиға киришти. Уларниң бу гунайи сәвәплик Худаниң ғәзиви Йәһуда билән Йерусалимдикиләрниң бешиға кәлди.
And they left the house of Yhwh God of their fathers, and served groves and idols: and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their trespass.
19 Шундақ болсиму, Пәрвәрдигар уларни Өзигә яндуруш үчүн йәнила уларниң арисиға пәйғәмбәрләрни әвәтти; бу пәйғәмбәрләр гәрчә уларни агаһландурған болсиму, лекин улар йәнила қулақ салмиди.
Yet he sent prophets to them, to bring them again unto Yhwh; and they testified against them: but they would not give ear.
20 У чағда Худаниң Роһи баш каһин Йәһояданиң оғли Зәкәрияға чүшти, у хәлиқниң алдида өрә туруп уларға: — Худа мундақ дәйду: «Силәр немишкә Пәрвәрдигарниң әмирлиригә хилаплиқ қилисиләр? Силәр һеч раваҗлиқ көрмәйсиләр, чүнки силәр Пәрвәрдигардин ваз кәчтиңлар вә Уму силәрдин ваз кәчти», — деди.
And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of Yhwh, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken Yhwh, he hath also forsaken you.
21 Халайиқ [Зәкәрияни] өлтүрүшкә қәстлиди; ахир улар уни падишаниң әмри бойичә Пәрвәрдигар өйиниң һойлисида чалма-кесәк қилип өлтүрүвәтти.
And they conspired against him, and stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king in the court of the house of Yhwh.
22 Падиша Йоаш Зәкәрияниң атиси Йәһояданиң өзигә көрсәткән шәпқитини яд әтмәк түгүл, әксичә униң оғлини өлтүрүвәтти. Зәкәрия җан үзүш алдида: — Пәрвәрдигар бу ишни нәзиригә елип, униң һесавини алсун! — деди.
Thus Joash the king remembered not the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but slew his son. And when he died, he said, Yhwh look upon it, and require it.
23 Шу жилниң ахирида Сурийәниң қошуни Йоашқа һуҗум қилип кәлди; улар Йәһудаға вә Йерусалимға таҗавуз қилип кирип, хәлиқ ичидики йолбашчиларни өлтүрүп, улардин алған пүтүн уруш ғәниймәтлирини Дәмәшқ падишасиниң алдиға елип барди.
And it came to pass at the end of the year, that the army of Syria came up against him: and they came to Judah and Jerusalem, and destroyed all the princes of the people from among the people, and sent all the spoil of them unto the king of Damascus.
24 Дәрвәқә Сурийә қошунидин пәқәт аз бир қисим әскәрләр кәлгән болсиму, лекин Йәһудалар ата-бовилириниң Худаси Пәрвәрдигардин ваз кәчкәнлиги үчүн Пәрвәрдигар чоң бир қошунни уларниң қолиға тапшурди; улар Йоашқа җаза иҗра қилди.
For the army of the Syrians came with a small company of men, And Yhwh delivered a very great army into their hand, because they had forsaken Yhwh God of their fathers. So they executed judgment against Joash.
25 Сурийләр Йоашни ташлап кәткән чағда (чүнки у қаттиқ ағрип қалған еди) униң өз хизмәткарлири баш каһин Йәһояданиң оғлиниң қени үчүн интиқам елиш керәк дәп уни қәстлиди; улар уни карвитидила өлтүрүвәтти. And when they were departed from him, (for they left him in great diseases, ) his own servants conspired against him for the blood of the sons of Jehoiada the priest, and slew him on his bed, and he died: and they buried him in the city of David, but they buried him not in the sepulchres of the kings.
26 Уни қәстлигәнләр мунулар: — Аммоний аял Шимиятниң оғли Забад билән Моабий аял Симритниң оғли Йәһозабад еди.
And these are they that conspired against him; Zabad the son of Shimeath an Ammonitess, and Jehozabad the son of Shimrith a Moabitess.
27 Йоашниң оғуллири, униңға қаритилған қаттиқ вә нурғун агаһ бешарәтләр, шундақла униң Худаниң өйини йеңибаштин селишқа даир ишлири «падишаларниң тәзкирилири» дегән китапниң изаһлириға пүтүлгәндур. Йоашниң оғли Амазия униң орниға падиша болди.
Now concerning his sons, and the greatness of the burdens laid upon him, and the repairing of the house of God, behold, they are written in the story of the book of the kings. And Amaziah his son reigned in his stead.
