In the eighteenth year of king Jerobo'am became Abiyah king over Judah.
2 У Йерусалимда үч жил сәлтәнәт қилди; униң анисиниң исми Микая болуп, у Гибеаһлиқ Урийәлниң қизи еди. Абия билән Йәробоам оттурисида уруш болди.
Three years he reigned in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Michayahu the daughter of Uriel of Gib'ah. And there was war between Abiyah and Jerobo'am.
3 Абия җәң қилиш үчүн хилланған җәңчиләрдин төрт йүз миңни башлап чиқти; Йәробоамму хилланған батур җәңчиләрдин сәккиз йүз миңни башлап чиқип, Абияға қарши сәп түзүп турди.
And Abiyah joined the battle with an army of valiant men of war, even of four hundred thousand chosen men: Jerobo'am also set the battle in array against him with eight hundred thousand chosen men, being mighty men of valor.
4 Абия Әфраим тағлиқ районидики Зәмарайим теғиға чиқип мундақ деди: — «И Йәробоам вә Исраил хәлқи, гепимгә қулақ селиңлар!
And Abiyah stood up above mount Zemarayim, which is in the mountain of Ephraim, and said, Hear me, O Jerobo'am, and all Israel;
5 Билмәмсиләр, Исраилниң Худаси Пәрвәрдигар «тузлуқ әһдә» қилип, Исраилниң үстидики падишалиқни Давутқа вә униң әвлатлириға мәңгүгә тәқдим қилғанғу?
Ought ye not to know that the Lord the God of Israel hath given the kingdom over Israel to David for eternity, yea, to him and to his sons by a covenant of salts?
6 Лекин Давутниң оғли Сулайманниң қули, Нибатниң оғли Йәробоам қозғилип өз ғоҗисидин йүз өриди.
But there rose up Jerobo'am the son of Nebat, the servant of Solomon the son of David, and rebelled against his lord.
7 Шуниң билән бәзи муттәһәмләр, «Белиялниң балилири» униң йениға жиғилип, Сулайманниң оғли Рәһобоам билән қаршилишишқа өзлирини күчләндүрди; Рәһобоам у чағда техи яш, сәбий балидәк болғачқа, уларға тәң келәлмиди.
And there were gathered unto him idle men, worthless persons, and put themselves in violent resistance against Rehobo'am the son of Solomon: while Rehobo'am was young and tender hearted, and could not sustain himself before them.
8 Әнди силәр Пәрвәрдигарниң Давутниң әвлатлириниң қолиға тапшурған падишалиғиға қарши чиқип «өзимизни көрситимиз» дәйсиләр; силәрниң адимиңлар дәрвәқә көптур; силәрдә йәнә Йәробоам силәргә ясап бәргән, илаһлар дәп қарилидиған алтун мозайлар бар.
And now ye think to sustain yourselves before the kingdom of the Lord in the hand of the sons of David; and ye are a great multitude; and with you are golden calves, which Jerobo'am hath made for you as gods.
9 Силәр Пәрвәрдигарниң каһинлири болған Һарунниң әвлатлири билән Лавийларни қоғливетип, йәр йүзидики башқа әлләр қилғинидәк өзлириңларға [халиғанчә] каһин тикливалған әмәсмидиңлар? Кимдәким бир топақ вә йәттә қозини елип келип өзүмни [каһинлиққа] беғишлаймән десә, у Худа болмиған бутларға каһин болалайду!
Have ye not cast out the priests of the Lord, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and have made yourselves priests like the people of the [various] lands? so that whosoever cometh to consecrate himself with a young bullock and seven rams can become a priest to things that are no gods?
10 Лекин биз болсақ, Пәрвәрдигар бизниң Худайимиздур, биз униңдин ваз кәчмидуқ; Пәрвәрдигарниң хизмитидә болған каһинлар болса Һарунниң әвлатлиридур, Лавийлар уларниң хизмитидә турмақта.
But as for us, the Lord is our God, and we have not forsaken him; and the priests, who minister unto the Lord, are the sons of Aaron; and the Levites are at their [appointed] work;
11 Улар һәр күни әтиси-ахшими Пәрвәрдигарға көйдүрмә қурбанлиқларни сунуп, есил хушбуй яқиду. Пакиз ширәгә «тәқдим нанлар»му тизип қоюлиду, һәр күни кәчтә улар алтун чирақдан үстидики чирақларни яндурулиду; чүнки биз Худайимиз Пәрвәрдигарниң тапшуруғиға әмәл қилип келиватимиз. Бирақ силәр болсаңлар униңдин ваз кәчтиңлар.
And they burn unto the Lord burnt-offerings every morning and every evening and incense of sweet spices; and the rows of the show-bread [do they place] upon the pure table; and there is the candlestick of gold with its lamps, to light the same every evening; for we keep the charge of the Lord our God, while ye have truly forsaken him.
12 Қараңлар, Худа бизни Башлиғучи болуп биз билән биллидур; қоллириға канай алған, силәргә һуҗум қилишқа сигнал чилишқа тәйяр туридиған униң каһинлириму биз билән биллидур. И Исраил балилири, ата-боваңларниң Худаси болған Пәрвәрдигар билән җәң қилмаңлар; чүнки силәр һәргиз ғәлибә қазиналмайсиләр».
And, behold, with us at our head, is the [true] God, with his priests with trumpets for blowing the alarm, to sound an alarm against you. O children of Israel, do not fight against the Lord the God of your fathers; for ye will not prosper.
13 Лекин Йәробоам уларниң арқисидин һуҗум қилмақ үчүн бөктүрмә қойған еди. Шундақки, Исраиллар Йәһудаларниң алди тәрипидә еди вә бөктүрмә қошун уларниң арқа тәрипидә сақлап туратти.
But Jerobo'am caused an ambush to come around behind them: so they themselves were before Judah, and the ambush was behind them.
14 Йәһудалар бурулуп қариса, мана өзлири алди-арқидин һуҗумға учравататти; улар Пәрвәрдигарға пәряд көтәрди, каһинларму канайларни чалди.
And when Judah turned round, behold, they had the battle before and behind: and they cried unto the Lord, and the priests blew with the trumpets.
15 Буниң билән Йәһудалар қаттиқ чуқан көтиришти; вә шундақ болдики, Йәһудалар қаттиқ чуқан көтиришүватқанда, Худа Йәробоам билән барлиқ Исраилларни Абия билән Йәһудаларниң алдидин уруп терә-пәрәң қилди.
And then gave the men of Judah a shout: and it came to pass, as the men of Judah shouted, that God struck down Jerobo'am and all Israel before Abiyah and Judah.
16 Исраиллар Йәһудаларниң алдидин қачти; Худа уларни Йәһудаларниң қолиға тапшурди.
And the children of Israel fled from before Judah, and God gave them up into their hand.
17 Абия билән униң адәмлири Исраилларни қаттиқ қирғин қилди; Исраиллардин хилланған бәш йүз миң әскәр қәтл қилинди.
And Abiyah and his people smote them with a great defeat, and there fell down slain of Israel five hundred thousand chosen men.
18 Бу чағда Исраиллар төвән қилинди; Йәһудадикиләр ата-бовилириниң Худаси Пәрвәрдигарға таянғанлиғи үчүн ғәлибә қазанди.
Thus were the children of Israel humbled at that time: and the children of Judah became powerful, because they relied upon the Lord the God of their fathers.
19 Абия Йәробоамниң кәйнидин қоғлап маңди; у униң илкидин бир қанчә шәһирини, йәни Бәйт-Әл вә униңға қарашлиқ йеза-базарларни, Йешанаһ вә униңға қарашлиқ йеза-базарларни, Әфрон вә униңға қарашлиқ йеза-базарларни тартивалди.
And Abiyah made pursuit after Jerobo'am, and captured cities from him, Bethel with its villages, and Jeshanah with its villages, and 'Ephrayin with its villages.
20 Йәробоам Абияниң күнлиридә қайтидин күчлинәлмиди. Пәрвәрдигарниң уни уруши билән у өлди.
And Jerobo'am did not recover strength again in the days of Abiyahu: and the Lord struck him, and he died.
21 Абия болса өзини қудрәт тапқузди; у он төрт хотун елип, жигирмә икки оғул, он алтә қиз пәрзәнт көрди.
But Abiyahu became strong, and he took himself fourteen wives, and begat twenty and two sons, and sixteen daughters.
22 Абияниң башқа ишлири, униң маңған йоллири вә ейтқан сөзлири «Иддо пәйғәмбәрниң тәһлили»дә пүтүлгәндур.
And the rest of the acts of Abiyah, and his ways, and his speeches, are written in the writing of the prophet 'Iddo.
