1 Самуил дегән бала болса әлиниң алдида Пәрвәрдигарниң хизмитидә болатти. Әнди Пәрвәрдигарниң сөзи у күнләрдә кам еди; вәһийлик көрүнүшләрму көп әмәс еди.

And the child Samuel ministered to the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; [there was] no open vision.

2 Вә шундақ болдики, бир күни Әли орнида ятқан еди (униң көзлири торлишип көрмәс болуп қалай дегән еди)

And it came to pass at that time, when Eli [was] laid down in his place, and his eyes began to grow dim, [that] he could not see;

3 Худаниң чириғи техи өчмигән болуп, Самуил Пәрвәрдигарниң ибадәтханисида, Худаниң әһдә сандуғиға йеқинла йәрдә ятатти.

And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God [was], and Samuel was laid down [to sleep];

4 Пәрвәрдигар Самуилни чақирди. У: — Мана мән бу йәрдә, деди.

That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here [am] I.

5 У Әлиниң қешиға жүгүрүп берип: — Мана мән, мени чақирдиңғу, деди. Лекин у җавап берип: — Мән чақирмидим; қайтип берип ятқин, деди. Шуниң билән у берип ятти.

And he ran to Eli, and said, Here [am] I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down.

6 Пәрвәрдигар йәнә: «Самуил!» дәп чақирди. Самуил қопуп әлиниң қешиға берип: Мана мән, мени чақирдиңғу, деди. Лекин у җавап берип: — Мән чақирмидим и оғлум, йәнә берип ятқин, деди.

And the LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here [am] I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again.

7 Самуил Пәрвәрдигарни техи тонумиған еди; Пәрвәрдигарниң сөзи униңға техи аян қилинмиған еди.

Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed to him.

8 Лекин Пәрвәрдигар йәнә үчинчи қетим: «Самуил!» дәп чақирди; у қопуп әлиниң қешиға берип: — Мана мән; сән мени чақирдиң, деди. У вақитта Әли Пәрвәрдигар балини чақирипту, дәп билип йәтти.

And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here [am] I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child.

9 Шуниң билән Әли Самуилға: — Берип ятқин. У әгәр сени чақирса, сән: — И Пәрвәрдигар, сөз қилғин, чүнки қулуң аңлайду, дәп ейтқин, девиди, Самуил берип орнида ятти.

Therefore Eli said to Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he should call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.

10 Вә Пәрвәрдигар келип йеқин туруп илгәркидәк: — «Самуил, Самуил!» дәп чақирди. Самуил: — Сөз қилғин, чүнки қулуң аңлайду, дәп җавап бәрди.

And the LORD came, and stood and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

11 Пәрвәрдигар Самуилға: — Мана Мән аңлиғанларниң икки қулиқини зиңилдатқидәк бир ишни Исраилниң арисида қилмақчимән.

And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.

12 Шу күнидә Мән бурун Әлиниң җәмәтидикиләр тоғрисида ейтқинимниң һәммисини униң үстигә чүшүримән; баштин ахирғичә ада қилимән!

In that day I will perform against Eli all [things] which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end.

13 Чүнки өзигә аян болған қәбиһлик түпәйлидин Мән униңға, сениң җәмәтиңдин мәңгүлүк һөкүм чиқармақчимән, дәп ейтқанмән: чүнки у оғуллириниң ипласлиғини билип туруп уларни тосмиди.

For I have told him, that I will judge his house for ever, for the iniquity which he knoweth: because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.

14 Униң үчүн Әлиниң җәмәтидикиләргә қәсәм қилғанмәнки, Әлиниң җәмәтидикиләрниң қәбиһлиги мәйли қурбанлиқ билән болсун, мәйли һәдийә билән болсун кафарәт қилинмай, әбәткичә кәчүрүм қилинмайду, деди.

And therefore I have sworn to the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever.

15 Самуил әтиси таң атқичә йетип, андин Пәрвәрдигарниң өйиниң ишиклирини ачти. Амма Самуил вәһийлик көрүнүшни Әлигә ейтиштин қорқти.

And Samuel lay until the morning, and opened the doors of the house of the LORD: and Samuel feared to show Eli the vision.

16 Лекин Әли Самуилни чақирип: — И Самуил оғлум, деди. У: — Мана мән, дәп җавап бәрди.

Then Eli called Samuel, and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered, Here [am] I.

17 У: — У саңа немә сөз қилди? Сәндин өтүнәй, уни мәндин йошурмиғин. Әгәр Униң саңа ейтқанлириниң бирини маңа ейтмай қойсаң, Худа дегинини сениң бешиңға чүшүрсун вә униңдин артуқ чүшүрсун! — деди.

And he said, What [is] the thing that [the LORD] hath said to thee? I pray thee hide [it] not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou shalt hide [any] thing from me, of all the things that he said to thee.

18 Шуниң билән Самуил униңға һеч немини қалдурмай һәммини дәп бәрди. Әли: — Мана, У Пәрвәрдигардур; У немини лайиқ тапса, шуни қилсун, деди.

And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It [is] the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good.

19 Самуил өсүп чоң болувататти вә Пәрвәрдигар униң билән биллә болуп, униң ейтқан бешарәтлик сөзлиридин һеч қайсисини йәрдә қалдурмайтти.

And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and let none of his words fall to the ground.

20 Шуниң билән пүткүл Исраил Дандин тартип Бәәр-Шебағичә Самуилниң Пәрвәрдигарниң пәйғәмбири қилип тикләнгәнлигини билип йәтти.

And all Israel, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, knew that Samuel [was] established [to be] a prophet of the LORD.

21 Шу вақитта Пәрвәрдигар Шилоһда Өзини йәнә аян қилди. Чүнки Пәрвәрдигар Шилоһда Өз сөз-калами арқилиқ Самуилға Өзини аян қилди; вә Самуил Униң сөзини пүткүл Исраилға йәткүзди.

And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD.
