1 Бириси Давутқа хәвәр берип: — Мана Филистийләр Кеилаһға һуҗум қилип хаманларни булап-талимақта, деди.

Then they told David, saying, Behold, the Philistines fight against Keilah, and they rob the threshing floors.

2 Давут Пәрвәрдигардин: — Мән берип бу Филистийләргә зәрбә беримәнму? — дәп сориди. Пәрвәрдигар Давутқа: — Берип Филистийләргә зәрбә берип Кеилаһни азат қилғин, деди.

Therefore David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go and strike these Philistines? And the LORD said unto David, Go, and strike the Philistines, and save Keilah.

3 Лекин Давутниң адәмлири униңға: — Мана биз Йәһуда зиминида турупму қорқиватқан йәрдә, Кеилаһға берип Филистийләрниң қошунлириға һуҗум қилсақ қандақ болар? — деди.

And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be afraid here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?

4 Шуңа Давут йәнә бир қетим Пәрвәрдигардин соривиди, Пәрвәрдигар униңға җавап берип: — Сән орнуңдин туруп Кеилаһға барғин; чүнки Мән Филистийләрни қолуңға тапшуримән, деди.

Then David enquired of the LORD yet again. And the LORD answered him and said, Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines into your hand.

5 Буниң билән Давут өз адәмлири билән Кеилаһға берип Филистийләр билән соқушуп, маллирини олҗа қилип, уларни қаттиқ қирди. Давут шундақ қилип Кеилаһда туруватқанларни қутқузди.

So David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines, and brought away their cattle, and stroke them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.

6 Әнди Ахимәләкниң оғли Абиятар Кеилаһға қечип келип Давутниң қешиға кәлгәндә, униң қолида әфод бар еди.

And it came to pass, when Abiathar the son of Ahimelech fled to David to Keilah, that he came down with an ephod in his hand.

7 Бириси Саулға, Давут Кеилаһға кәпту, дәп хәвәр бәрди. Саул: — Әнди Худа уни мениң қолумға ташлап тапшурди. Чүнки у дәрвазилири вә тақақлири бар шәһәргә киргәчкә солунуп қалди, деди.

And it was told Saul that David was come to Keilah. And Saul said, God has delivered him into mine hand; for he is shut in, by entering into a town that has gates and bars.

8 Әнди Саул Давут билән адәмлирини муһасиригә елиш үчүн һәммә хәлиқни Кеилаһға берип җәң қилишқа чақирди.

And Saul called all the people together to war, to go down to Keilah, to besiege David and his men.

9 Давут Саулниң өзини қәстләйдиғанлиғини билип, Абиятар каһинға: — Әфодни елип кәлгин, деди.

And David knew that Saul secretly practised mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring here the ephod.

10 Андин Давут: — И Исраилниң Худаси Пәрвәрдигар, мәнки Сениң қулуң Саулниң бу шәһәрни мениң сәвәвимдин харап қилиш үчүн Кеилаһға келишкә қәстләватқанлиғини ениқ аңлиди.

Then said David, O LORD God of Israel, your servant has certainly heard that Saul seeks to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake.

11 Кеилаһдикиләр мени униң қолиға тутуп берәрму? Саул өз бәндәң аңлиғандәк бу йәргә келәрму? И Исраилниң Худаси Пәрвәрдигар, Сәндин өтүнимәнки, өз бәндәңгә билдүргәйсән, деди. Пәрвәрдигар: — У бу йәргә келиду, деди.

Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as your servant has heard? O LORD God of Israel, I plead to you, tell your servant. And the LORD said, He will come down.

12 Давут йәнә: — Кеилаһтикиләр мени вә адәмлиримни Саулниң қолиға тутуп берәрму, деди. Пәрвәрдигар: — Улар силәрни тутуп бериду, деди.

Then said David, Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul? And the LORD said, They will deliver you up.

13 Әнди Давут адәмлири билән (тәхминән алтә йүзчә) орнидин туруп Кеилаһдин чиқип, өзлири баралайдиған тәрәпкә қарап кәтти. Саулға, Давут Кеилаһтин қечипту дәп хәвәр берилгәндә у уни қоғлашқа чиқмиди.

Then David and his men, which were about six hundred, arose and departed out of Keilah, and went anywhere they could go. And it was told Saul that David was escaped from Keilah; and he ceased to go forth.

14 Давут болса чөлдики қорған-қияларда һәмдә Зиф чөлиниң тағлирида турди. Саул уни һәр күни издәйтти; лекин Худа уни униң қолиға тапшурмиди.

And David abode in the wilderness in strong holds, and remained in a mountain in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand.

15 Әнди Давут Саулниң өзини өлтүргили чиқидиғанлиғини байқап қалди. Шу чағда у Зиф чөлидики бир орманлиқта туратти.

And David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life: and David was in the wilderness of Ziph in a wood.

16 Саулниң оғли Йонатан болса орманлиққа чиқип Давутниң қешиға берип, уни Худа арқилиқ риғбәтләндүрүп униңға: —

And Jonathan Saul's son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.

17 Қорқмиғин; чүнки атам Саулниң қоли сени тапалмайду. Сән бәлки Исраилниң үстидә падиша болисән, мән болсам сениң вәзириң болимән, буни атам Саулму билиду, деди.

And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find you; and you shall be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto you; and that also Saul my father knows.

18 Андин улар иккилән Пәрвәрдигарниң алдида әһдә қилишти; Давут болса, орманлиқта туруп қалди, Йонатан өз өйигә йенип кәтти.

And they two made a covenant before the LORD: and David abode in the wood, and Jonathan went to his house.

19 Шуниңдин кейин Зифтикиләр Гибеаһта туруватқан Саулниң қешиға келип: — Мана, Давут Хақилаһниң егизлигидики Йәшимонниң җәнуби тәрипигә җайлашқан орманлиқтики қорғанларда йошурунивалди, билмәмдила?

Then came up the Ziphites to Saul to Gibeah, saying, Does not David hide himself with us in strong holds in the wood, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of Jeshimon?

20 Шуңа, и падиша, қачан көңүллири тартса шу чағда кәлсилә; бизниң бурчимиз уни падишаниң қолиға тутуп бериштур, деди.

Now therefore, O king, come down according to all the desire of your soul to come down; and our part shall be to deliver him into the king's hand.

21 Саул: Маңа ич ағритқиниңлар үчүн Пәрвәрдигар силәргә бәхит ата қилғай.

And Saul said, Blessed be all of you of the LORD; for all of you have compassion on me.

22 Әнди силәрдин өтүнимәнки, берип зади қайси йәрдә туридиғинини җәзмләштүрүңлар, униң из-деригини ениқлап, вә кимниң уни көргәнлигини билип келиңлар; чүнки кишиләр ейтишичә у интайин һейлигәр екән, деди.

Go, I pray you, prepare yet, and know and see his place where his haunt is, and who has seen him there: for it is told me that he deals very subtlely.

23 Шуңа берип, униң йошурунған барлиқ мәхпий җайлирини ениқ көрүп келиңлар, йенимға йенип келип маңа әйнини ейтиңлар. Андин мән силәр билән биллә баримән; вә шундақ болидуки, әгәр у зиминда болсила, мән Йәһудийларниң миңлиғанларниң арисидин уни издәп тапимән, деди.

See therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking places where he hides himself, and come all of you again to me with the certainty, and I will go with you: and it shall come to pass, if he be in the land, that I will search him out throughout all the thousands of Judah.

24 Улар қопуп Саулдин илгири Зифқа барди; лекин Давут өз адәмлири билән Маон чөллүгидики Йәшимонниң җәнуп тәрипидики Арабаһ түзләңлигидә турувататти.

And they arose, and went to Ziph before Saul: but David and his men were in the wilderness of Maon, in the plain on the south of Jeshimon.

25 Саул адәмлири билән Давутни издәп барди. Кишиләр бу хәвәрни Давутқа ейтти; шуниң билән у чүшүп, қияға берип Маон чөлидә турди. Саул буни аңлап Давутниң кәйнидин қоғлап Маонниң чөлигә чиқти.

Saul also and his men went to seek him. And they told David; wherefore he came down into a rock, and abode in the wilderness of Maon. And when Saul heard that, he pursued after David in the wilderness of Maon.

26 Саул тағниң бу тәрипидә маңди, амма Давут адәмлири билән тағниң у тәрипидә маңди. Давут Саулдин қечиш үчүн алдириватқан еди; лекин Саул адәмлири билән Давут вә униң адәмлирини тутимиз дәп уларни қоршиғили турди.

And Saul went on this side of the mountain, and David and his men on that side of the mountain: and David made haste to get away for fear of Saul; for Saul and his men compassed David and his men round about to take them.

27 Амма бир хәвәрчи Саулниң қешиға келип униңға: — Филистийләр зиминимизниң җәнуп тәрипигә кирип булаң-талаң қиливатиду, тездин қайтсила, деди.

But there came a messenger unto Saul, saying, Haste you, and come; for the Philistines have invaded the land.

28 Шуниң билән Саул йенип Давутни қоғлаштин тохтап Филистийләр билән соқушқили чиқти. Шуңа у йәр Села-Һаммаһлекот дәп аталди.

Wherefore Saul returned from pursuing after David, and went against the Philistines: therefore they called that place Selahammahlekoth.

29 Давут болса у йәрдин чиқип Ән-Гәдиниң тағ-қорғанлиғида турди.

And David went up from thence, and dwelt in strong holds at Engedi.
