1 Лекин Аһаб Илиясниң һәммә қилғинини, җүмлидин һәммә пәйғәмбәрләрни қиличлап өлтүргинини Йизәбәлгә ейтип бәрди.
Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword.
2 Йизәбәл болса Илиясқа бир хәвәрчи әвәтип: — Әгәр әтә мошу вақитқичә сән шуларниң җанлириға қилғиниңдәк мән сениң җениңни охшаш қилмисам, илаһлар маңиму шундақ қилсун һәмдә униңдинму зиядә қилсун! — дәп ейтқузди.
Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, "So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time."
3 У буни билгәндә, өз җенини қутқузмақ үчүн қечип Йәһуда тәвәсидики Бәәр-Шебаға барди. У у йәрдә өз хизмәткарини қалдуруп қоюп,
And he was afraid, and he got up and fled for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.

But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he requested for himself that he might die, and said, "It is enough. Now, O LORD, take away my life, for I am no better than my fathers."
5 У шу шивақ астида йетип ухлап қалди. Мана бир пәриштә уни ноқуп униңға: — Қопуп, нан йегин, деди.
He lay down and slept under a broom tree. And look, an angel touched him, and said to him, "Arise and eat."
6 У қариса бешида қизиқ чоғларда пишиватқан бир пошкал вә бир коза су туратти. У йәп-ичип йәнә ухлиғили ятти.
He looked, and look, there was at his head a cake baked on the coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank, and lay down again.
7 Андин Пәрвәрдигарниң пәриштиси йәнә келип иккинчи қетим уни ноқуп униңға: — Қопуп нан йегин. Болмиса йолуңниң еғирини көтирәлмәйсән, деди.
The angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, "Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you."
8 У қопуп йәп-ичти. Шу таамдин алған қувәт билән у қириқ кечә-күндүз меңип Худаниң теғи Һорәбгә йетип барди.
And he got up and ate and drank, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb the Mount of God.
9 У у йәрдики ғарға кирип қонди. Вә мана, Пәрвәрдигарниң сөзи униңға келип мундақ дейилди: — И Илияс, бу йәрдә немә қиливатисән?
And there he came to a cave and lodged there; and look, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said to him, "What are you doing here, Elijah?"
10 У җавап берип: — Самави қошунларниң Сәрдари болған Худа Пәрвәрдигар үчүн зор отлуқ муһәббәт билән һәсәт қилдим. Чүнки Исраиллар Сениң әһдәңни ташлап қурбангаһлириңни жиқитип, Сениң пәйғәмбәрлириңни қилич билән өлтүрди. Мән, ялғуз мәнла қалдим вә улар мениң җенимни алғили қәстләватиду, деди.
He said, "I have been very jealous for the LORD, the God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken your covenant, thrown down your altars, and slain your prophets with the sword, and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away."
11 У униңға: — Чиқип, Пәрвәрдигарниң алдида тағда турғин, деди. Мана, Пәрвәрдигар өтүп кетивататти; [униң алдида] зор күчлүк бир шамал чиқип, тағларни сундуруп, қорам ташларни парчилап чеқивәтти. Лекин Пәрвәрдигар шамалда әмәс еди. Шамалдин кейин бир йәр тәврәш болди. Лекин Пәрвәрдигар йәр тәврәштә әмәс еди.
And he said, "Go out tomorrow and stand on the mountain before the LORD." Look, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains, and broke in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake.
12 Йәр тәврәштин кейин бир лавулдиған от көтирилди. Лекин Пәрвәрдигар отта әмәс еди. Оттин кейин бошқина, мулайим бир аваз аңланди.
After the earthquake a fire passed; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
13 Вә шундақ болдики, Илияс шуни аңлап, йүзини йепинчиси билән орап ғарниң ағзиға берип турди. Мана, бир аваз чиқип униңға: — И Илияс, сән бу йәрдә немә қиливатисән? — деди.
It was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his cloak, and went out, and stood in the entrance of the cave. Look, a voice came to him, and said, "What are you doing here, Elijah?"
14 У җавап берип: — Самави қошунларниң Сәрдари болған Худа Пәрвәрдигар үчүн зор отлуқ муһәббәт билән һәсәт қилдим. Чүнки Исраиллар Сениң әһдәңни ташлап қурбангаһлириңни жиқитип, Сениң пәйғәмбәрлириңни қилич билән өлтүрди. Мән ялғуз мәнла қалдим вә улар мениң җенимни алғили қәстләватиду, деди.
He said, "I have been very jealous for the LORD, the God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken your covenant, thrown down your altars, and slain your prophets with the sword, and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away."
15 Пәрвәрдигар униңға мундақ деди: — Барғин, кәлгән йолуң билән қайтип, андин Дәмәшқниң чөлигә барғин. У йәргә барғанда Һазаәлни Сурийә үстигә падиша болушқа мәсиһ қилғин.
The LORD said to him, "Go, return on your way, and you will come to the way of the wilderness of Damascus, and when you arrive, you shall anoint Hazael to be king over Aram.
16 Андин Нимшиниң оғли Йәһуни Исраилниң үстигә падиша болушқа мәсиһ қилғин; өз орнуңға пәйғәмбәр болушқа Абәл-Мәһолаһлиқ Шафатниң оғли Елишаниму мәсиһ қилғин.
You shall anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi to be king over Israel; and you shall anoint Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah to be prophet in your place.
17 Вә шундақ болидуки, Һазаәлниң қиличидин қечип қутулған һәр бирини Йәһу өлтүриду; Йәһуниң қиличидин қечип қутулған һәр бирини Елиша өлтүриду.
It shall happen, that he who escapes from the sword of Hazael, Jehu will kill; and he who escapes from the sword of Jehu, Elisha will kill.
18 Лекин Исраилда йәттә миң кишини, йәни Баалниң алдида тизлирини пүкмигән вә униңға ағзини сөйгүзмигән һәр бирини өзүмгә сақлап қалдурдум, — деди.
Yet I have kept for myself seven thousand people in Israel, all the knees that have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him."
19 У у йәрдин чиқип, Шафатниң оғли Елишани тапти. У чағда у йәр һайдавататти; униң алдида он икки җүп уй бар еди, у он иккинчиси билән қош һайдавататти. Илияс келип униң үстигә өз йепинчисини ташлап артип қойди.
So he departed there, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing, with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed over to him, and cast his cloak on him.
20 У уйларни ташлап Илиясниң кәйнидин жүгүрүп келип: — Мени берип атам билән анамни сөйгили қойғин, андин мән келип саңа әгишәй, — деди. У униңға: — Қайтқин; мән саңа немә қилдим? — деди.
He left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, "Let me please kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you." He said to him, "Go back again; for what have I done to you?"
21 У униңдин айрилип, өзи ишләткән бир җүп уйни союп, уларниң җабдуқини отун қилип, гөшини пиширип хәлиққә беривиди, улар йеди. Андин у орнидин қопуп Илиясниң кәйнидин әгишип, униң хизмитидә болди.
He returned from following him, and took the yoke of oxen, and killed them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen, and gave to the people, and they ate. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and served him.
