1 У чағда барлиқ Исраил җамаити Һебронға келип Давутниң қешиға жиғилишип: «Қарисила, биз өзлириниң әт-сүйәклиридурмиз!

And all Israel came to David in Chebron, saying, Behold, we [are] thy bones and thy flesh.

2 Бурун Саул бизниң үстимиздә сәлтәнәт қилғандиму Исраил хәлқигә җәңгә чиқип-киришкә йолбашчи болған өзлири едила. Өзлириниң Худалири болған Пәрвәрдигарму өзлиригә: — Сән Мениң хәлқим Исраилниң падичиси болуп уларни бақисән вә Исраилниң әмри болисән, дегән еди» — деди.

And heretofore when Saul was king, thou wast he that led Israel in and out, and the Lord of Israel said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be for a ruler over Israel.

3 Шуниң билән Исраил ақсақаллириниң һәммиси Һебронға келип падиша Давутниң қешиға келишти; Давут Һебронда Пәрвәрдигарниң алдида улар билән бир әһдә түзүшти. Андин улар Пәрвәрдигарниң Самуилниң вастиси билән ейтқини бойичә, Давутни Мәсиһ қилип, Исраилни идарә қилишқа падиша қилип тиклиди.

And all the elders of Israel came to the king to Chebron; and king David made a covenant with them in Chebron before the Lord: and they anointed David to be king over Israel, according to the word of the Lord by Samuel.

4 Давут билән барлиқ Исраил хәлқи Йерусалимға кәлди (Йерусалим шу чағда «Йәбус» дәп атилатти, зиминдики аһалә болған Йәбусийлар шу йәрдә туратти).

And the king and his men went to Jerusalem, this [is] Jebus; and there the Jebusites the inhabitants of the land said to David,

5 Йәбус аһалиси Давутқа: «Сән бу йәргә һеч қачан кирәлмәйсән!» деди. Бирақ Давут Зион дегән қорғанни алди (шу йәр «Давутниң шәһири» дәпму атилиду).

Thou shalt not enter in hither. But he took the strong hold of Sion: this [is] the city of David.

6 Давут: «Ким алди билән Йәбусийларға һуҗум қилса, шу киши йолбашчи вә сәрдар болиду» деди. Зәруияниң оғли Йоаб алди билән атлинип чиқип, йолбашчи болди.

And David said, Whoever first smites the Jebusite, even he shall be chief and captain. And Joab the son of Saruia went up first, and became chief.

7 Давут қорғанда туратти, шуңа кишиләр у қорғанни «Давут шәһири» дәп аташти.

And David dwelt in the strong hold; therefore he called it the city of David.

8 Давут шәһәрни Миллодин башлап төрт әтрапидики сепилиғичә яңливаштин ясатти; шәһәрниң қалған қисмини Йоаб ясатти.

And he fortified the city round about.

9 Давут күндин күнгә қудрәт тапти, чүнки самави қошунларниң Сәрдари болған Пәрвәрдигар униң билән биллә еди.

And David continued to increase, and the Lord Almighty [was] with him.

10 Төвәндикиләр Давутниң палванлири ичидә йолбашчилар еди; улар Пәрвәрдигарниң Исраилға ейтқан сөзи бойичә пүткүл Исраил билән бирлишип, Давутниң падишалиғини мустәһкәм қилип, бирликтә уни падиша қилишқа күчиди.

And these [are] the chiefs of the mighty men, whom David had, who strengthened [themselves] with him in his kingdom, with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the Lord concerning Israel.

11 Төвәндикиләр Давутниң палванлириниң тизимлиги бойичә хатириләнгәндур: — Һакмонийлардин болған Яшобиям йолбашчилар ичидә беши еди; у нәйзисини пиқиритип бир қетимдила үч йүз адәмни өлтүргән.

And this [is] the list of the mighty [men] of David; Jesebada, son of Achaman, first of the thirty: he drew his sword once against three hundred whom he slew at one time.

12 Униңдин қалса Ахохий Додониң оғли Әлиазар болуп, у «үч палван»ниң бири еди;

And after him Eleazar son of Dodai, the Achochite: he was among the three mighty men.

13 Илгири Филистийләр Пас-Даммимда җәң қилишқа жиғилғанда, у Давут билән у йәрдә еди. У йәрдә арпа өсүп кәткән бир етизлиқ болуп, хәлиқ Филистийләрниң алдидин бәдәр қачқан еди;

He was with David in Phasodamin, and the Philistines were gathered there to battle, and [there was] a portion of the field full of barley; and the people fled before the Philistines.

14 улар болса етизлиқниң оттурисида турувелип, һәм етизлиқни қоғдиған, һәм Филистийләрни тар мар қилған; Пәрвәрдигар әнә шу йол билән уларни ғайәт зор ғәлибигә ериштүргән.

And he stood in the midst of the portion, and rescued it, and smote the Philistines; and the Lord wrought a great deliverance.

15 Оттуз йолбашчи ичидин [йәнә] үчәйлән Қорам ташлиқтики Адулламниң ғариға чүшүп Давутниң йениға кәлди. Филистийләрниң қошуни болса «Рәфайим җилғиси»да баргаһ қурған еди.

And three of the thirty chiefs went down to the rock to David, to the cave of Odollam, and the camp of the Philistines [was] in the giants' valley.

16 Бу чағда Давут қорғанда, Филистийләрниң қаравулгаһи Бәйт-Ләһәмдә еди.

And David [was] then in the hold, and the garrison of the Philistines [was] then in Bethleem.

17 Давут уссап: «Аһ, бириси маңа Бәйт-Ләһәмниң дәрвазисиниң йенидики қудуқтин су әкилип бәргән болса яхши болатти!» девиди,

And David longed, and said, Who will give me water to drink of the well of Bethleem, that is in the gate?

18 бу үч палван Филистийләрниң ләшкәргаһидин бөсүп өтүп, Бәйт-Ләһәмниң дәрвазисиниң йенидики қудуқтин су тартти вә Давутқа елип кәлди; лекин у униңдин ичкили унимиди, бәлки суни Пәрвәрдигарға атап төкүп:

And the three broke through the camp of the Philistines, and they drew water out of the well that was in Bethleem, which was in the gate, and they took it, and came to David: but David would not drink it, and poured it out to the Lord, and said,

19 «Худайим бу ишни мәндин нери қилсун! Мән һаятиниң хәвптә қелишиға қаримиған бу кишиләрниң қенини ичсәм қандақ болиду? Чүнки буни улар һаятиниң хәвптә қелишиға қаримай елип кәлгән!» деди. Шуңа Давут бу суни ичкили унимиди. Бу үч палван қилған ишлар дәл шулар еди.

God forbid that I should do this thing: shall I drink the blood of these men with their lives? for with [the peril of] their lives they brought it. So he would not drink it. These things did the three mighty [men].

20 Йоабниң иниси Абишай үчиниң беши еди; у үч йүз адәм билән қаршилишип нәйзисини пиқиритип уларни өлтүрди. Шуниң билән у бу «үч палван» ичидә нами чиққан еди.

And Abisa the brother of Joab, he was chief of three: he drew his sword against three hundred slain at one time, and he had a name among the [second] three.

21 У мошу «үч палван» ичидә һәммидин бәк һөрмәткә сазавәр болған болсиму, лекин йәнила авалқи үчәйләнгә йәтмәйтти.

He was more famous than the two [others] of the three, and he was chief [over] them; yet he reached not to the [first] three.

22 Йәһояданиң оғли Беная Кабзәәлдин болуп, бир батур палван еди; у көп қалтис ишларни қилған. У Моабий Ариәлниң икки оғлини өлтүргән. Йәнә қар яққан бир күни азгалға чүшүп, бир ширни өлтүргән еди.

And Banaia the son of Jodae was the son of a mighty man: many [were] his acts for Cabasael: he smote two lion-like men of Moab, and he went down and smote a lion in a pit on a snowy day.

23 У йәнә қолида бапкарниң оқидәк бир нәйзиси бар, бойиниң егизлиги бәш гәз келидиған бир Мисирлиқни қәтл қилди; у бир һаса билән униңға һуҗум қилип, униң нәйзисини қолидин тартивелип өз нәйзиси билән өлтүрди.

And he smote an Egyptian, a wonderful man five cubits [high]; and in the hand of the Egyptian [there was] a spear like a weavers' beam; and Banaia went down to him with a staff, and took the spear out of the Egyptian's hand, and slew him with his own spear.

24 Йәһояданиң оғли Беная мана бу ишларни қилған. Шуниң билән үч палван ичидә нам чиқарған еди.

These things did Banaia son of Jodae, and his name [was] among the three mighties.

25 Мана, у һелиқи оттуз палвандинму бәкрәк шөһрәт қазанған болсиму, лекин алдинқи үч палванға йәтмәйтти. Давут уни өзиниң пасибан беги қилип тайинлиған.

He was distinguished beyond the thirty, yet he reached not to the [first] three: and David set him over his family.

26 Қошундики палванлар болса: — Йоабниң иниси Асаһәл, Бәйт-Ләһәмлик Додониң оғли Әлһанан,

And the mighty [men] of the forces [were], Asael the brother of Joab, Eleanan the son of Dodoe of Bethleem,

27 Һарорлуқ Шаммот, Пилонлуқ Һәләз,

Samaoth the Arorite, Chelles the Phelonite,

28 Тәкоалиқ Иккәшниң оғли Ира, Анатотлуқ Абиезәр,

Ora the son of Ekkis the Thecoite, Abiezer the Anathothite,

29 Хушатлиқ Сиббәкай, Ахоһлуқ Илай,

Sobochai the Usathite, Eli the Achonite,

30 Нитофатлиқ Маһарай, Нитофатлиқ Баанаһниң оғли Хәләб,

Marai the Netophathite, Chthaod the son of Nooza the Netophathite,

31 Бинямин әвлатлиридин Гибеаһлиқ Рибайниң оғли Иттай, Пиратонлуқ Беная,
