پەند-نەسىھەتلەر 20
| شاراب كىشىنى رەسۋا قىلار، ھاراق كىشىنى غالجىرلاشتۇرار؛ كىمكى ئۇنىڭغا بېرىلىپ ئېزىپ كەتسە، ئەقىلسىزدۇر. | 1 |
Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler; and whosoever erreth thereby is not wise.
| پادىشاھنىڭ غەزىپى شىرنىڭ ھۆركىرىشىگە ئوخشاش قورقۇنچلۇقتۇر؛ ئۇنىڭ ئاچچىقىنى كەلتۈرگەن، ئۆز جېنىغا جازا چۈشۈرەر. | 2 |
The terror of a king is as the roaring of a lion: he that provoketh him to anger sinneth [against] his own life.
| ئۆزىنى ماجىرادىن نېرى قىلىش كىشىنىڭ ئىززىتىدۇر؛ بىراق ھەربىر ئەخمەق ئۆزىنى باسالماس. | 3 |
It is an honour for a man to keep aloof from strife: but every fool will be quarrelling.
| ھۇرۇن ئادەم قىشتا يەر ھەيدىمەس؛ يىغىم ۋاقتىدا يوقلۇقتا قېلىپ ئاشلىق تىلەر. | 4 |
The slothful will not plow by reason of the winter; therefore he shall beg in harvest, and have nothing.
| كىشىنىڭ كۆڭلىدىكى ئوي-نىيەتلىرى چوڭقۇر سۇغا ئوخشاشتۇر؛ يورۇتۇلغان ئادەم ئۇلارنى تارتىپ ئالالايدۇ. | 5 |
Counsel in the heart of man is [like] deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out.
| ئۆزىنى سادىق دەيدىغانلار كۆپتۇر؛ بىراق ئىشەنچلىك بىر ئادەمنى كىم تاپالىسۇن؟ | 6 |
Most men wilt proclaim every one his own kindness: but a faithful man who can find?
| ھەققانىي ئادەم دىيانەتلىك يولدا ماڭار؛ ئۇنىڭ پەرزەنتلىرىگە بەخت-بەرىكەت قالدۇرۇلار! | 7 |
A just man that walketh in his integrity, blessed are his children after him.
| پادىشاھ ئادالەت تەختىدە ئولتۇرغاندا، ھەممە يامانلىقنى كۆزى بىلەن قوغلايدۇ. | 8 |
A king that sitteth on the throne of judgment scattereth away all evil with his eyes.
| كىم ئۆزىنى گۇناھدىن تازىلاندىم، ۋىجدانىم پاكلاندى، دېيەلەيدۇ؟ | 9 |
Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?
| ئىككى خىل تارازا تېشى، ئىككى خىل كۈرە ئىشلىتىش، ئوخشاشلا پەرۋەردىگارغا يىرگىنچلىكتۇر. | 10 |
Divers weights, and divers measures, both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD.
| ھەتتا بالا ئۆز خىسلىتى بىلەن بىلىنەر؛ ئۇنىڭ قىلغانلىرىنىڭ پاك، دۇرۇس ياكى ئەمەسلىكى ھەرىكەتلىرىدىن كۆرۈنۈپ تۇرار. | 11 |
Even a child maketh himself known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.
| كۆرىدىغان كۆزنى، ئاڭلايدىغان قۇلاقنى، ھەر ئىككىسىنى پەرۋەردىگار ياراتتى. | 12 |
The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD hath made even both of them.
| ئۇيقۇغا ئامراق بولما، نامراتلىققا ئۇچرايسەن؛ كۆزۈڭنى ئېچىپ ئويغاق بول، نېنىڭ مول بولار. | 13 |
Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; open thine eyes, [and] thou shalt be satisfied with bread.
| خېرىدار مال ئالغاندا: «ناچار ئىكەن، ناچار ئىكەن!» دەپ قاقشايدۇ؛ ئېلىپ كەتكەندىن كېيىن [«ئېسىل نەرسە، ئەرزان ئالدىم» دەپ] ماختىنىدۇ. | 14 |
It is naught, it is naught, saith the buyer: but when he is gone his way, then he boasteth.
| ئالتۇن بار، لەئەل-ياقۇتلارمۇ كۆپتۇر؛ بىراق بىلىمنى بېغىشلىغان لەۋلەر نېمىدېگەن قىممەتلىك گۆھەردۇر! | 15 |
There is gold, and abundance of rubies: but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.
| ياتقا كېپىل بولغان كىشىدىن قەرزگە تونىنى تۇتۇپ ئالغىن؛ يات خوتۇنغا كاپالەت بەرگەن كىشىدىن كاپالەت پۇلى ئال. | 16 |
Take his garment that is surety for a stranger; and hold him in pledge [that is surety] for strangers.
| ئالداپ ئېرىشكەن تاماق تاتلىقتۇر؛ كېيىن، ئۇنىڭ يېگىنى شېغىل بولار. | 17 |
Bread of falsehood is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.
| پىلانلار مەسلىھەت بىلەن بېكىتىلەر؛ پىشقان كۆرسەتمە بىلەن جەڭ قىلغىن. | 18 |
Every purpose is established by counsel: and by wise guidance make thou war,
| گەپ توشۇغۇچى سىرلارنى ئاشكارىلار؛ شۇڭا ۋالاقتەككۈر بىلەن ئارىلاشما. | 19 |
He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that openeth wide his lips.
| كىمكى ئاتا-ئانىسىنى ھاقارەت قىلسا، ئۇنىڭ چىرىغى زۇلمەت قاراڭغۇسىدا ئۆچەر! | 20 |
Whoso curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in the blackest darkness.
| تېز ئېرىشكەن مىراس ھامان بەرىكەتلىك بولماس. | 21 |
An inheritance [may be] gotten hastily at the beginning; but the end thereof shall not be blessed.
| يامانلىققا يامانلىق قايتۇراي دېمە؛ پەرۋەردىگارغا تايىنىپ كۈت، ئۇ دەردىڭگە يېتەر. | 22 |
Say not thou, I will recompense evil: wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.
| ئىككى خىل تارازا تېشى پەرۋەردىگارغا يىرگىنچلىكتۇر؛ ساختا ئۆلچەم قەتئىي يارىماس. | 23 |
Divers weights are an abomination to the LORD; and a false balance is not good.
| ئىنساننىڭ ھاياتلىق قەدەملىرىنى پەرۋەردىگار بەلگىلەيدۇ؛ ئۇنداقتا ئىنسان ئۆز مۇساپىسىنى نەدىن بىلسۇن؟ | 24 |
A man’s goings are of the LORD; how then can man understand his way?
| بىر نەرسىسىنى يېنىكلىك بىلەن «[خۇداغا] ئاتالغان!» دەپ ۋەدە بېرىش، قەسەملەردىن كېيىن ئىككىلىنىپ قايتا ئويلىنىش، ئۆز جېنىنى قىلتاققا چۈشۈرگەنگە باراۋەر. | 25 |
It is a snare to a man rashly to say, [It is] holy, and after vows to make inquiry.
| دانا پادىشاھ يامانلارنى توپاننى سورۇغاندەك سورۇۋېتىدۇ، خامان تەپكەندەك تۇلۇق بىلەن يانجىۋېتەر. | 26 |
A wise king winnoweth the wicked, and bringeth the [threshing] wheel over them.
| ئادەمنىڭ روھ-ۋىجدانى ــ پەرۋەردىگارنىڭ چىرىغىدۇر، ئۇ قەلبنىڭ ھەربىر تەگلىرىنى تەكشۈرۈپ پەرق ئېتەر. | 27 |
The spirit of man is the lamp of the LORD, searching all the innermost parts of the belly.
| مېھىر-شەپقەت ۋە ھەقىقەت پادىشاھنى ساقلايدۇ؛ ئۇ مېھىر-شەپقەت بىلەنلا ئۆز تەختىنى مۇستەھكەملەيدۇ. | 28 |
Mercy and truth preserve the king: and his throne is upholden by mercy.
| ياش يىگىتلەرنىڭ قاۋۇللۇقى ئۇلارنىڭ پەخرىدۇر؛ قېرىلارنىڭ ئىززىتى ئاق چاچلىرىدۇر. | 29 |
The glory of young men is their strength: and the beauty of old men is the hoary head.
| تەربىيە يارىلىرى يامانلىقنى تازىلاپ چىقىرار، تاياق ئىزلىرى ئىچ-باغىرنى تازا قىلار. | 30 |
Stripes that wound cleanse away evil: and strokes [reach] the innermost parts of the belly.
