रोमियो 14
1 कमज़ोर ईमान वालों को अपने में शामिल तो कर लो, मगर शक' और शुबह की तकरारों के लिए नहीं।
But to him who is weak in the faith give the hand, and be not divided in your thoughts.
2 हरएक का मानना है कि हर चीज़ का खाना जाएज़ है और कमज़ोर ईमानवाला साग पात ही खाता है।
For there are some who believe that one may eat every thing, and he who is weak; eateth (only) the herb.
3 खाने वाला उसको जो नहीं खाता हक़ीर न जाने और जो नहीं खाता वो खाने वाले पर इल्ज़ाम न लगाए; क्यूँकि ख़ुदा ने उसको क़ुबूल कर लिया है।
But let not him who eateth despise him who eateth not; and he who eateth not, let him not judge him who eateth; for Aloha hath received him.
4 तू कौन है, जो दूसरे के नौकर पर इल्ज़ाम लगाता है? उसका क़ाईम रहना या गिर पड़ना उसके मालिक ही से मुता'ल्लिक़ है; बल्कि वो क़ाईम ही कर दिया जाए क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द उसके क़ाईम करने पर क़ादिर है।
Who art thou that judgest a servant who is not thine? who, if he stand, unto his Lord he standeth, and if he fall, falleth unto his Lord. But standing, he standeth; for there is power in the hands of his Lord to make him stand.
5 कोई तो एक दिन को दूसरे से अफ़ज़ल जानता है और कोई सब दिनों को बराबर जानता है हर एक अपने दिल में पूरा ऐ'तिक़ाद रखे।
There is who distinguisheth day from day, and there is who judgeth all days (to be alike); but let every man in the conviction of his (own) mind be confirmed.
6 जो किसी दिन को मानता है वो ख़ुदावन्द के लिए मानता है और जो खाता है वो ख़ुदावन्द के वास्ते खाता है क्यूँकि वो ख़ुदा का शुक्र करता है और जो नहीं खाता वो भी ख़ुदावन्द के वास्ते नहीं खाता, और ख़ुदावन्द का शुक्र करता है।
He who thinketh of the day, to his Lord he thinketh; and every one who thinketh not of the day, unto his Lord he thinketh not (of it). He who eateth, to his Lord he eateth, and to Aloha giveth thanks;
7 क्यूँकि हम में से न कोई अपने वास्ते जीता है, न कोई अपने वास्ते मरता है।
and he who eateth not, to his Lord he eateth not, and giveth thanks to Aloha. For there is no one of us who to himself liveth and no one who to himself dieth.
8 अगर हम जीते हैं तो ख़ुदावन्द के वास्ते जीते हैं और अगर मरते हैं तो ख़ुदावन्द के वास्ते मरते हैं; पस हम जिएँ या मरें ख़ुदावन्द ही के हैं।
For if we live, to our Lord we live; and if we die, to our Lord we die: and if we live, then, or if we die, our Lord's are we.
9 क्यूँकि मसीह इसलिए मरा और ज़िन्दा हुआ कि मुर्दों और ज़िन्दों दोनों का ख़ुदावन्द हो।
Because of this also the Meshiha died and lived and arose, that he might be Lord of the dead and of the living. But thou, why dost thou judge thy brother?
10 मगर तू अपने भाई पर किस लिए इल्ज़ाम लगाता है? या तू भी किस लिए अपने भाई को हक़ीर जानता है? हम तो सब ख़ुदा के तख़्त — ए — अदालत के आगे खड़े होंगे।
Or thou, also, why despisest thou thy brother? For we shall all stand before the tribunal of the Meshiha:
11 चुनाँचे ये लिखा है; ख़ुदावन्द फ़रमाता है मुझे अपनी हयात की क़सम, हर एक घुटना मेरे आगे झुकेगा और हर एक ज़बान ख़ुदा का इक़रार करेगी।
as it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, unto me every knee shall bow, and to me shall every tongue confess.
12 पस हम में से हर एक ख़ुदा को अपना हिसाब देगा।
Therefore, every one of us the answer for himself shall give unto Aloha.
13 पस आइन्दा को हम एक दूसरे पर इल्ज़ाम न लगाएँ बल्कि तुम यही ठान लो कि कोई अपने भाई के सामने वो चीज़ न रख्खे जो उसके ठोकर खाने या गिरने का ज़रिया हो।
Then judge not one another, but this determine rather, to lay not a stumbling-block for thy brother.
14 मुझे मा'लूम है बल्कि ख़ुदावन्द ईसा में मुझे यक़ीन है कि कोई चीज़ बजाहित हराम नहीं लेकिन जो उसको हराम समझता है उस के लिए हराम है।
For I know, and am persuaded in the Lord Jeshu, that a thing which is unclean from itself is not (so); but to him who judgeth of any thing that it is polluted, to him only it is polluted.
15 अगर तेरे भाई को तेरे खाने से रंज पहुँचता है तो फिर तू मुहब्बत के का'इदे पर नहीं चलता; जिस शख़्स के वास्ते मसीह मरा तू अपने खाने से हलाक न कर।
But if on account of meat thou grievest thy brother, thou walkest not in love: destroy not by thy meat him on account of whom the Meshiha died.
16 पस तुम्हारी नेकी की बदनामी न हो।
Let not our good (things) be blasphemed.
17 क्यूँकि ख़ुदा की बादशाही खाने पीने पर नहीं बल्कि रास्तबाज़ी और मेल मिलाप और उस ख़ुशी पर मौक़ूफ़ है जो रूह — उल — क़ुद्दूस की तरफ़ से होती है।
For the kingdom of Aloha is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Spirit of Holiness.
18 जो कोई इस तौर से मसीह की ख़िदमत करता है; वो ख़ुदा का पसन्दीदा और आदमियों का मक़बूल है।
For who in these things serveth the Meshiha pleaseth Aloha, and before men is approved.
19 पस हम उन बातों के तालिब रहें; जिनसे मेल मिलाप और आपसी तरक़्क़ी हो।
Now, after peace let us pursue, and after the edification of one another,
20 खाने की ख़ातिर ख़ुदा के काम को न बिगाड़ हर चीज़ पाक तो है मगर उस आदमी के लिए बुरी है; जिसको उसके खाने से ठोकर लगती है।
and not for the sake of meats undo the work of Aloha. For each thing is pure, yet evil is it to the man who eateth with offence.
21 यही अच्छा है कि तू न गोश्त खाए न मय पिए न और कुछ ऐसा करे जिस की वजह से तेरा भाई ठोकर खाए।
It is well not to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing by which our brother is offended.
22 जो तेरा ऐ'तिक़ाद है वो ख़ुदा की नज़र में तेरे ही दिल में रहे, मुबारिक़ वो है जो उस चीज़ की वजह से जिसे वो जायज़ रखता है अपने आप को मुल्ज़िम नहीं ठहराता।
Hast thou confidence? In thyself retain it before Aloha. Blessed is he who condemneth not himself in what he distinguisheth.
23 मगर जो कोई किसी चीज़ में शक रखता है अगर उस को खाए तो मुजरिम ठहरता है इस वास्ते कि वो ऐ'तिक़ाद से नहीं खाता, और जो कुछ ऐ'तिक़ाद से नहीं वो गुनाह है।
For he who doubteth and eateth is made guilty, because he eateth not with confidence. For every thing that is not of confidence is sin.
