मुकाशफ़ा 21
1 फिर मैंने एक नए आसमान और नई ज़मीन को देखा, क्यूँकि पहला आसमान और पहली ज़मीन जाती रही थी, और समुन्दर भी न रहा।
Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, because the first heaven and the first earth had passed away; also, the ocean was no more.
2 फिर मैंने शहर — ए — मुक़द्दस नए येरूशलेम को आसमान पर से ख़ुदा के पास से उतरते देखा, और वो उस दुल्हन की तरह सजा था जिसने अपने शौहर के लिए सिंगार किया हो।
And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.
3 फिर मैंने तख़्त में से किसी को उनको ऊँची आवाज़ से ये कहते सुना, “देख, ख़ुदा का ख़ेमा आदमियों के दर्मियान है। और वो उनके साथ सुकूनत करेगा, और वो उनके साथ रहेगा और उनका ख़ुदा होगा।
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying: “Take note, the tabernacle of God is with men and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people. Yes, God Himself will be with them.
4 और उनकी आँखों के सब आँसू पोंछ देगा; इसके बाद न मौत रहेगी, और न मातम रहेगा, न आह — ओ — नाला न दर्द; पहली चीज़ें जाती रहीं।”
And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there will be no more death nor sorrow nor crying nor pain—they will exist no more because the first things have gone.”
5 और जो तख़्त पर बैठा हुआ था, उसने कहा, “देख, मैं सब चीज़ों को नया बना देता हूँ।” फिर उसने कहा, “लिख ले, क्यूँकि ये बातें सच और बरहक़ हैं।”
Then He who sat on the throne said, “Take note, I make everything new!” And He says to me, “Write, because these words are true and faithful!”
6 फिर उसने मुझ से कहा, ये बातें पूरी हो गईं। मैं अल्फ़ा और ओमेगा, या'नी शुरू और आख़िर हूँ। मैं प्यासे को आब — ए — हयात के चश्मे से मुफ़्त पिलाऊँगा।
Then He said to me: “I have become the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I will give of the spring of the water of Life freely.
7 जो ग़ालिब आए वही इन चीज़ों का वारिस होगा, और मैं उसका ख़ुदा हूँगा और वो मेरा बेटा होगा।
He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be God to him and he will be a son to me.
9 फिर इन सात फ़रिश्तों में से जिनके पास प्याले थे, एक ने आकर मुझ से कहा, “इधर आ, मैं तुझे दुल्हन, या'नी बर्रे की बीवी दिखाऊँ।”
Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and spoke with me saying, “Come, I will show you the woman, the Lamb's bride.”
10 और वो मुझे रूह में एक बड़े और ऊँचे पहाड़ पर ले गया, और शहर — ए — मुक़द्दस येरूशलेम को आसमान पर से ख़ुदा के पास से उतरते दिखाया।
So he transported me in spirit to a great and high mountain and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
11 उसमें ख़ुदा का जलाल था, और उसकी चमक निहायत क़ीमती पत्थर, या'नी उस यशब की सी थी जो बिल्लौर की तरह शफ़ाफ़ हो।
having the splendor of God. Her radiance was similar to a most precious stone, like a crystalline jasper stone;
12 और उसकी शहरपनाह बड़ी और ऊँची थी, और उसके बारह दरवाज़े और दरवाज़ों पर बारह फ़रिश्ते थे, और उन पर बनी — इस्राईल के बारह क़बीलों के नाम लिखे हुए थे।
she had a tremendous, high wall with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names inscribed, namely the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel;
13 तीन दरवाज़े मशरिक़ की तरफ़ थे, तीन दरवाज़े शुमाल की तरफ़, तीन दरवाज़े जुनूब की तरफ़, और तीन दरवाज़े मग़रिब की तरफ़।
looking from the east, three gates, and from the north, three gates, and from the south, three gates, and from the west, three gates.
14 और उस शाहर की शहरपनाह की बारह बुनियादें थीं, और उन पर बर्रे के बारह रसूलों के बारह नाम लिखे थे।
And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names, of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 और जो मुझ से कह रहा था, उसके पास शहर और उसके दरवाज़ों और उसकी शहरपनाह के नापने के लिए एक पैमाइश का आला, या'नी सोने का गज़ था।
Now he who spoke with me had a measure, a golden reed, so that he might measure the city and her gates.
16 और वो शहर चौकोर वाक़े' हुआ था, और उसकी लम्बाई चौड़ाई के बराबर थी; उसने शहर को उस गज़ से नापा, तो बारह हज़ार फ़रलाँग निकला: उसकी लम्बाई और चौड़ाई बराबर थी।
The city is laid out as a square; that is, her length is equal to her width. So he measured the city with the reed at twelve thousand and twelve stadia. Her length and width and height are equal.
17 और उसने उसकी शहरपनाह को आदमी की, या'नी फ़रिश्ते की पैमाइश के मुताबिक़ नापा, तो एक सौ चवालीस हाथ निकली।
And he measured her wall, one hundred and forty-four cubits, the measure of a man (which is of an angel).
18 और उसकी शहरपनाह की ता'मीर यशब की थी, और शहर ऐसे ख़ालिस सोने का था जो साफ़ शीशे की तरह हो।
The material of her wall was jasper, and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.
19 और उस शहर की शहरपनाह की बुनियादें हर तरह के जवाहर से आरास्ता थीं; पहली बुनियाद यश्ब की थी, दूसरी नीलम की, तीसरी शब चिराग़ की, चौथी ज़मुर्रुद की,
And the foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation had jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,
20 पाँचवीं 'आक़ीक़ की, छटी ला'ल की, सातवीं सुन्हरे पत्थर की, आठवीं फ़ीरोज़ की, नवीं ज़बरजद की, और बारहवीं याकूत की।
the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.
21 और बारह दरवाज़े बारह मोतियों के थे; हर दरवाज़ा एक मोती का था, और शहर की सड़क साफ़ शीशे की तरह ख़ालिस सोने की थी।
And the twelve gates are twelve pearls; each individual gate was composed of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
22 और मैंने उसमें कोई मक़्दिस न देखे, इसलिए कि ख़ुदावन्द ख़ुदा क़ादिर — ए — मुतल्लिक़ और बर्रा उसका मक़्दिस हैं।
I saw no sanctuary in her, because the Lord God, the Almighty, and the Lamb are her sanctuary.
23 और उस शहर में सूरज या चाँद की रौशनी की कुछ हाजत नहीं, क्यूँकि ख़ुदा के जलाल ने उसे रौशन कर रख्खा है, और बर्रा उसका चिराग़ है।
And the city has no need of the sun or the moon, that they should shine on her, because the very glory of God illumines her, and the Lamb is her light.
24 और क़ौमें उसकी रौशनी में चले फिरेंगी, और ज़मीन के बादशाह अपनी शान — ओ — शौकत का सामान उसमें लाएँगे।
And the nations will walk in her light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into her.
25 और उसके दरवाज़े दिन को हरगिज़ बन्द न होंगे, और रात वहाँ न होगी।
Her gates will absolutely not be closed by day (and no night will exist there).
26 और लोग क़ौमों की शान — ओ — शौकत और इज़्ज़त का सामान उसमें लाएँगे।
And they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into her.
27 और उसमें कोई नापाक या झूठी बातें घढ़ता है, हरगिज़ दाख़िल न होगा, मगर वही जिनके नाम बर्रे की किताब — ए — हयात में लिखे हुए हैं।
But anything ‘common’ or anyone perpetrating an abomination or a lie will absolutely not enter her; only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
