ज़बूर 99

1 ख़ुदावन्द सलतनत करता है, क़ौमें काँपी। वह करूबियों पर बैठता है, ज़मीन लरज़े।

The Lord reigneth; people tremble: he sitteth enthroned over the cherubim; the earth is moved.

2 ख़ुदावन्द सिय्यून में बुज़ु़र्ग़ है; और वह सब क़ौमों पर बुलंद — ओ — बाला है।

The Lord is great in Zion; and he is exalted above all the people.

3 वह तेरे बुज़ुर्ग और बड़े नाम की ता'रीफ़ करें वह पाक हैं।

They will give thanks to thy name, great, and terrible, [and] holy it is.

4 बादशाह की ताक़त इन्साफ़ पसन्द है तू रास्ती को क़ाईम करता है तू ही ने 'अद्ल और सदाक़त को या'क़ूब, में रायज किया।

And to the power of the king who loveth justice and righteousness hast thou truly executed in Jacob.

5 तुम ख़ुदावन्द हमारे ख़ुदा की तम्जीद करो, और उसके पाँव की चौकी पर सिज्दा वह पाक है।

Exalt ye the Lord our God, and bow yourselves down before his footstool: he is holy.—

6 उसके काहिनों में से मूसा और हारून ने, और उसका नाम लेनेवालों में से समुएल ने ख़ुदावन्द से दुआ की और उसने उनको जवाब दिया।

Moses and Aaron were among his priests, and Samuel among those that call on his name; they called on the Lord, and he answered them.

7 उसने बादल के सुतून में से उनसे कलाम किया; उन्होंने उसकी शहादतों को और उस क़ानून को जो उनको दिया था, माना।

In the pillar of cloud he used to speak unto them: they kept his testimonies, and the statutes which he had given unto them.

8 ऐ ख़ुदावन्द हमारे ख़ुदा, तू उनको जवाब देता था; तू वह ख़ुदा है जो उनको मु'आफ करता रहा, अगरचे तूने उनके आ'माल का बदला भी दिया।

O Lord, our God, thou didst answer them: thou wast a forgiving God unto them, yet also an avenger for their wrong doings.

9 तुम ख़ुदावन्द हमारे ख़ुदा की तम्जीद करो, और उसके पाक पहाड़ पर सिज्दा करो; क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द हमारा ख़ुदा क़ुददूस है।

Exalt the Lord our God, and bow yourselves down before his holy mount; for holy is the Lord our God.
