ज़बूर 9
1 मैं अपने पूरे दिल से ख़ुदावन्द की शुक्रगुज़ारी करूँगा; मैं तेरे सब 'अजीब कामों का बयान करूँगा।
“To the chief musician upon Muthlabben, a psalm of David.” I will thank the Lord with all my heart: I will relate all thy marvelous deeds.
2 मैं तुझ में ख़ुशी मनाऊँगा और मसरूर हूँगा; ऐ हक़ता'ला, मैं तेरी सिताइश करूँगा।
I will rejoice and exult in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High:
3 जब मेरे दुश्मन पीछे हटते हैं, तो तेरी हुजू़री की वजह से लग़ज़िश खाते और हलाक हो जाते हैं।
When my enemies are turned backward, [when] they fall and perish at thy presence.
4 क्यूँकि तूने मेरे हक़ की और मेरे मु'आमिले की ताईद की है। तूने तख़्त पर बैठकर सदाक़त से इन्साफ़ किया।
For thou hast conducted my dispute and my cause; thou hast sat on the throne as a righteous judge.
5 तूने क़ौमों को झिड़का, तूने शरीरों को हलाक किया है; तूने उनका नाम हमेशा से हमेशा के लिए मिटा डाला है।
Thou hast rebuked nations, thou hast caused the wicked to perish, their name hast thou blotted out for ever and ever.
6 दुश्मन ख़त्म हुए, वह हमेशा के लिए बर्बाद हो गए; और जिन शहरों को तूने ढा दिया, उनकी यादगार तक मिट गई।
O thou enemy, the ruins are passed away for ever, and the cities which thou hast destroyed, —lost is their memorial, yea, theirs.
7 लेकिन ख़ुदावन्द हमेशा तक तख़्त नशीन है, उसने इन्साफ़ के लिए अपना तख़्त तैयार किया है;
But the Lord will sit enthroned for ever: he hath established for giving judgment his throne.
8 और वही सदाक़त से जहान की 'अदालत करेगा, और रास्ती से कौमों का इन्साफ़ करेगा।
And he will judge the world with righteousness, he shall decide for the people, with equity.
9 ख़ुदावन्द मज़लूमों के लिए ऊँचा बुर्ज होगा, मुसीबत के दिनों में ऊँचा बुर्ज।
The Lord also will be a strong-hold for the oppressed, a strong-hold in times of distress.
10 और वह जो तेरा नाम जानते हैं तुझ पर भरोसा करेंगे, क्यूँकि ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, तूने अपने चाहनें वालो को नहीं छोड़ा।
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; for thou hast not forsaken those that seek thee, O Lord.
11 ख़ुदावन्द की सिताइश करो, जो सिय्यूनमें रहता है! लोगों के बीच उसके कामों का बयान करो
Sing praises to the Lord, who dwelleth in Zion: announce among the people his deeds.
12 क्यूँकि खू़न का पूछताछ करने वाला उनको याद रखता है; वह ग़रीबों की फ़रियाद को नहीं भूलता।
For he, that inquireth after acts of blood, hath remembered them: he hath not forgotten the cry of the afflicted.
13 ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, मुझ पर रहम कर। तू जो मौत के फाटकों से मुझे उठाता है, मेरे उस दुख को देख जो मेरे नफ़रत करने वालों की तरफ़ से है।
Be gracious unto me, O Lord; have regard to my affliction [coming] from those that hate me, thou who liftest me up from the gates of death:
14 ताकि मैं तेरी कामिल सिताइश का इज़हार करूँ। सिय्यून की बेटी के फाटकों पर, मैं तेरी नजात से ख़ुश हूँगा
In order that I may relate all thy praises in the gates of the daughters of Zion: I will be glad in thy salvation.
15 क़ौमें खु़द उस गढ़े में गिरी हैं जिसे उन्होंने खोदा था; जो जाल उन्होंने लगाया था उसमें उन ही का पाँव फंसा।
Sunk are nations in the ditch that they have prepared: in this net which they had laid in secret is their own foot caught.
16 ख़ुदावन्द की शोहरत फैल गई, उसने इन्साफ़ किया है; शरीर अपने ही हाथ के कामों में फंस गया है। हरगायून, (सिलाह)
The Lord is made known: he executed justice: through the doing of his own hands is the wicked ensnared. Higgayon, (Selah)
The wicked shall return into hell, all the nations that are forgetful of God. (Sheol h7585)
18 क्यूँकि ग़रीब सदा भूले बिसरे न रहेंगे, न ग़रीबों की उम्मीद हमेशा के लिए टूटेगी।
For not everlastingly shall the needy be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
19 उठ, ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! इंसान ग़ालिब न होने पाए। क़ौमों की 'अदालत तेरे सामने हो।
Arise, O Lord; let not the mortal boast of his strength; let nations be judged before thy face.
20 ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! उनको ख़ौफ़ दिला। क़ौमें अपने आपको इंसान ही जानें।
Place, O Lord, fear over them: let nations know, that they are but mortals. (Selah)
