ज़बूर 82

1 ख़ुदा की जमा'अत में ख़ुदा मौजूद है। वह इलाहों के बीच 'अदालत करता है:

A psalm of Asaph God [is] taking his stand in [the] congregation of God in [the] midst of [the] gods he gives judgment.

2 “तुम कब तक बेइन्साफ़ी से 'अदालत करोगे, और शरीरों की तरफ़दारी करोगे? (सिलाह)

Until when? will you judge injustice and [the] face of wicked [people] will you lift up (Selah)

3 ग़रीब और यतीम का इन्साफ़ करो, ग़मज़दा और मुफ़लिस के साथ इन्साफ़ से पेश आओ।

Give judgment for [the] poor and [the] fatherless [the] afflicted and [the] poor vindicate.

4 ग़रीब और मोहताज को बचाओ; शरीरों के हाथ से उनको छुड़ाओ।”

Deliver [the] poor and [the] needy from [the] hand of wicked [people] rescue [them].

5 वह न तो कुछ जानते हैं न समझते हैं, वह अंधेरे में इधर उधर चलते हैं; ज़मीन की सब बुनियादें हिल गई हैं।

Not they know - and not they understand in darkness they walk about they are shaken all [the] foundations of [the] earth.

6 मैंने कहा था, “तुम इलाह हो, और तुम सब हक़ता'ला के फ़र्ज़न्द हो;

I I said [are] gods you and [are] [the] children of [the] Most High all of you.

7 तोभी तुम आदमियों की तरह मरोगे, और 'उमरा में से किसी की तरह गिर जाओगे।”

Nevertheless like humankind you will die! and like one of the princes you will fall.

8 ऐ ख़ुदा! उठ ज़मीन की 'अदालत कर क्यूँकि तू ही सब क़ौमों का मालिक होगा।

Arise! O God judge! the earth for you you have an inheritance among all the nations.
