ज़बूर 62
1 मेरी जान को ख़ुदा ही की उम्मीद है, मेरी नजात उसी से है।
God is the only one who can give me peace in my inner being, and he is the one who saves me [from my enemies].
2 वही अकेला मेरी चट्टान और मेरी नजात है, वही मेरा ऊँचा बुर्ज है, मुझे ज़्यादा जुम्बिश न होगी।
Only he is like an [overhanging] rock [under which I can be safe] [MET]; he will be [like] a shelter, [with the result that] I will never be defeated [MET].
3 तुम कब तक ऐसे शख़्स पर हमला करते रहोगे, जो झुकी हुई दीवार और हिलती बाड़ की तरह है; ताकि सब मिलकर उसे क़त्ल करो?
When will you, [my enemies], stop attacking me [RHQ]? I feel that I am [as useless against you as] a wall that is about to fall over or a broken-down fence [MET].
4 वह उसको उसके मर्तबे से गिरा देने ही का मश्वरा करते रहते हैं; वह झूट से ख़ुश होते हैं। वह अपने मुँह से तो बरकत देते हैं लेकिन दिल में ला'नत करते हैं।
My enemies plan to remove me from my important position so that people no longer honor me. They delight in telling lies. They bless people by what they say [MTY], but in their inner beings they curse [those people].
5 ऐ मेरी जान, ख़ुदा ही की आस रख, क्यूँकि उसी से मुझे उम्मीद है।
God is the only one who gives me peace in my inner being; he is the one whom I confidently expect [to help me].
6 वही अकेला मेरी चट्टान और मेरी नजात है; वही मेरा ऊँचा बुर्ज है, मुझे जुम्बिश न होगी।
Only he is [like an overhanging] rock [under which I can be safe] [MET]; he is [like] a shelter, and [as a result] I will never be defeated.
7 मेरी नजात और मेरी शौकत ख़ुदा की तरफ़ से है; ख़ुदा ही मेरी ताक़त की चट्टान और मेरी पनाह है।
God is the one who saves me and honors me. He is [like an overhanging] strong rock under which I [can] find shelter [MET].
8 ऐ लोगो। हर वक़्त उस पर भरोसा करो; अपने दिल का हाल उसके सामने खोल दो। ख़ुदा हमारी पनाहगाह है। (सिलाह)
[You my] people, always trust in him. Tell him all your troubles, because he is (our refuge/the one who protects us) [MET].
9 यक़ीनन अदना लोग बेसबात हैं और आला आदमी झूटे; वह तराजू़ में हल्के निकलेंगे; वह सब के सब बेसबाती से भी कमज़ोर हैं
People who are considered to be unimportant are [as worthless/unreliable as] a breath of air; people who are considered to be important [also] really (amount to nothing/cannot be trusted [to help us)]. If you put them all on a scale, [it would be as if] they weighed less than a puff of air.
10 जु़ल्म पर तकिया न करो, लूटमार करने पर न फूलो; अगर माल बढ़ जाए तो उस पर दिल न लगाओ।
Do not trust in money gained by extorting it from others; do not try to gain anything by robbing others. If you become very wealthy, do not trust in [IDM] your money.
11 ख़ुदा ने एक बार फ़रमाया; मैंने यह दो बार सुना, कि कु़दरत ख़ुदा ही की है।
I have heard God say more than once that he is the one who [really] has power,
12 शफ़क़त भी ऐ ख़ुदावन्द तेरी ही है; क्यूँकि तू हर शख़्स को उसके 'अमल के मुताबिक़ बदला देता है।
and that he is the one who faithfully loves [us]. He rewards every one [of us] according to the deeds that we do.
