ज़बूर 60
1 ऐ ख़ुदा, तूने हमें रद्द किया; तूने हमें शिकस्ता हाल कर दिया। तू नाराज़ रहा है। हमें फिर बहाल कर।
For the choirmaster. To the tune of “The Lily of the Covenant.” A Miktam of David for instruction. When he fought Aram-naharaim and Aram-zobah, and Joab returned and struck down 12,000 Edomites in the Valley of Salt. You have rejected us, O God; You have broken us; You have been angry; restore us!
2 तूने ज़मीन को लरज़ा दिया; तूने उसे फाड़ डाला है। उसके रख़्ने बन्द कर दे क्यूँकि वह लरज़ाँ है।
You have shaken the land and torn it open. Heal its fractures, for it is quaking.
3 तूने अपने लोगों को सख़्तियाँ दिखाई, तूने हमको लड़खड़ा देने वाली मय पिलाई।
You have shown Your people hardship; we are staggered from the wine You made us drink.
4 जो तुझ से डरते हैं, तूने उनको एक झंडा दिया है; ताकि वह हक़ की ख़ातिर बुलन्द किया जाएं। (सिलाह)
You have raised a banner for those who fear You, that they may flee the bow.
5 अपने दहने हाथ से बचा और हमें जवाब दे, ताकि तेरे महबूब बचाए जाएँ।
Respond and save us with Your right hand, that Your beloved may be delivered.
6 ख़ुदा ने अपनी पाकीज़गी में फ़रमाया है, “मैं ख़ुशी करूँगा; मैं सिकम को तक़सीम करूँगा, और सुकात की वादी को बाटूँगा।
God has spoken from His sanctuary: “I will triumph! I will parcel out Shechem and apportion the Valley of Succoth.
7 जिल'आद मेरा है, मनस्सी भी मेरा है; इफ़्राईम मेरे सिर का खू़द है, यहूदाह मेरा 'असा है।
Gilead is Mine, and Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim is My helmet, Judah is My scepter.
8 मोआब मेरी चिलमची है, अदोम पर मैं जूता फेफूँगा; ऐ फ़िलिस्तीन, मेरी वजह से ललकार।”
Moab is My washbasin; upon Edom I toss My sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph.”
9 मुझे उस मुहकम शहर में कौन पहुँचाएगा? कौन मुझे अदोम तक ले गया है?
Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
10 ऐ ख़ुदा, क्या तूने हमें रद्द नहीं कर दिया? ऐ ख़ुदा, तू हमारे लश्करों के साथ नहीं जाता।
Have You not rejected us, O God? Will You no longer march out, O God, with our armies?
11 मुख़ालिफ़ के मुक़ाबले में हमारी मदद कर, क्यूँकि इंसानी मदद बेकार है।
Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless.
12 ख़ुदा की मदद से हम बहादुरी करेंगे, क्यूँकि वही हमारे मुख़ालिफ़ों को पस्त करेगा।
With God we will perform with valor, and He will trample our enemies.
