ज़बूर 59
1 ऐ मेरे खु़दा मुझे मेरे दुश्मनों से छुड़ा मेरे ख़िलाफ़ उठने वालों पर सरफ़राज़ कर।
God, save me from my enemies! Protect me from those who want to attack me!
2 मुझे बदकिरदारों से छुड़ा, और खूंख़्वार आदमियों से मुझे बचा।
Rescue me from men who want to do what is wicked, men who are murderers!
3 क्यूँकि देख, वह मेरी जान की घात में हैं। ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! मेरी ख़ता या मेरे गुनाह के बगै़र ज़बरदस्त लोग मेरे ख़िलाफ़ इकठ्ठे होते हैं।
Look! They are waiting to kill me! Fierce men have gathered to assault me. Yahweh, they are doing that even though I have not done what is wrong!
4 वह मुझ बेक़सूर पर दौड़ दौड़कर तैयार होते हैं; मेरी मदद के लिए जाग और देख!
It is not because I have committed any sin [against them] that they run and get ready to attack me.
5 ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, लश्करों के ख़ुदा! इस्राईल के ख़ुदा! सब कौमों के मुहासिबे के लिए उठ; किसी दग़ाबाज़ ख़ताकार पर रहम न कर। (सिलाह)
Yahweh my God, commander of the armies of heaven, the one we Israelis [worship], arise and punish the [ungodly/heathen people of] all the nations; do not be merciful to those [wicked people] who have (acted treacherously toward/secretly planned to harm) us.
6 वह शाम को लौटते और कुत्ते की तरह भौंकते हैं और शहर के गिर्द फिरते हैं।
They return each evening, snarling like vicious dogs [SIM] as they prowl around this city.
7 देख! वह अपने मुँह से डकारते हैं, उनके लबों के अन्दर तलवारें हैं; क्यूँकि वह कहते हैं, “कौन सुनता है?”
They loudly say terrible things; they say [MTY] many things that [injure people like] [MET] swords do, but they think, “No one will [RHQ] hear us!”
8 लेकिन ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! तू उन पर हँसेगा; तू तमाम क़ौमों को ठट्ठों में उड़ाएगा।
But Yahweh, you laugh at them. You (scoff at/ridicule) the [people of the pagan] nations.
9 ऐ मेरी कु़व्वत, मुझे तेरी ही आस होगी, क्यूँकि ख़ुदा मेरा ऊँचा बुर्ज है।
God, I have confidence in you because you are very strong; you are my refuge.
10 मेरा ख़ुदा अपनी शफ़क़त से मेरा अगुवा होगा, ख़ुदा मुझे मेरे दुश्मनों की पस्ती दिखाएगा।
Because you love me, you will come to save me; you will allow me to watch while you defeat my enemies.
11 उनको क़त्ल न कर, ऐसा न हो मेरे लोग भूल जाएँ ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, ऐ हमारी ढाल!, अपनी कु़दरत से उनको तितर बितर करके पस्त कर दे।
But do not kill them [immediately] in order that my people will not forget [how you punished them]! [Instead], Lord, [you who are like a] shield [that protects us] [MET], scatter them by your power, and [then] defeat them.
12 वह अपने मुँह के गुनाह, और अपने होंटों की बातों और अपनी लान तान और झूट बोलने के वजह से, अपने गु़रूर में पकड़े जाएँ।
Because what they say [MTY] is sinful, allow them to be trapped for being proud. Because they are [always] cursing and telling lies,
13 क़हर में उनको फ़ना कर दे, फ़ना कर दे ताकि वह बर्बाद हो जाएँ, और वह ज़मीन की इन्तिहा तक जान लें, कि ख़ुदा या'क़ूब पर हुक्मरान है।
because you are angry, get rid of them; destroy them completely in order that people will know that you rule over us, your Israeli people, and that you rule over all the earth.
14 फिर शाम को वह लौटें और कुत्ते की तरह भौंकें और शहर के गिर्द फिरें।
My enemies return each evening, snarling like [vicious] dogs as they prowl around this city.
15 वह खाने की तलाश में मारे मारे फिरें, और अगर आसूदा न हों तो सारी रात ठहरे रहे।
They roam around, searching for food; and if they do not find enough, they growl.
16 लेकिन मैं तेरी कु़दरत का हम्द गाऊँगा, बल्कि सुबह को बुलन्द आवाज़ से तेरी शफ़क़त का हम्द गाऊँगा। क्यूँकि तू मेरा ऊँचा बुर्ज है, और मेरी मुसीबत के दिन मेरी पनाहगाह।
But [as for me], I will sing about your power; [every] morning I will sing joyfully about your faithfully loving [us]. I will sing about how you protected me when I was [very] distressed.
17 ऐ मेरी ताक़त, मै तेरी मदहसराई करूँगा; क्यूँकि ख़ुदा मेरा शफ़ीक़ ख़ुदा मेरा ऊँचाबुर्ज है।
God, you are the one who enables me to be strong; you are my refuge; you faithfully love me.
