ज़बूर 54

1 ऐ ख़ुदा! अपने नाम के वसीले से मुझे बचा, और अपनी कु़दरत से मेरा इन्साफ़ कर।

God, by your power [MTY, DOU] save me [from my enemies], and show people that I have not done anything that is wrong!

2 ऐ ख़ुदा मेरी दुआ सुन ले; मेरे मुँह की बातों पर कान लगा।

God, listen to my prayer; listen to what I say to you,

3 क्यूँकि बेगाने मेरे ख़िलाफ़ उठे हैं, और टेढ़े लोग मेरी जान के तलबगार हुए हैं; उन्होंने ख़ुदा को अपने सामने नहीं रख्खा।

because strangers are [trying to] attack me; proud men are wanting to kill me; men who do not have any (respect for/interest in) you.

4 देखो, ख़ुदा मेरा मददगार है! ख़ुदावन्द मेरी जान को संभालने वालों में है।

But God is the one who helps me; Yahweh defends/protects me [from my enemies].

5 वह बुराई को मेरे दुश्मनों ही पर लौटा देगा; तू अपनी सच्चाई की रूह से उनको फ़ना कर!

He will cause the evil things that they want to do to me to happen to them instead; because he faithfully [does what he promises], he will get rid of them.

6 मैं तेरे सामने रज़ा की कु़र्बानी चढ़ाऊँगा; ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! मैं तेरे नाम की शुक्रगु़ज़ारी करूँगा क्यूँकि वह खू़ब है।

Yahweh, I will gladly give an offering to you because I want to, and I will thank you [MTY], for you are good [to me];

7 क्यूँकि उसने मुझे सब मुसीबतों से छुड़ाया है, और मेरी आँख ने मेरे दुश्मनों को देख लिया है।

you have rescued me from all my troubles, and I have seen that you have defeated my enemies.
