ज़बूर 53

1 बेवकू़फ़ ने अपने दिल में कहा है, कि कोई ख़ुदा नहीं। वह बिगड़ गये उन्होंने नफ़रत अंगेज़ बदी की है। कोई नेकोकार नहीं।

[Only] foolish people say to themselves, “There is no God!” People who say that are corrupt; they commit terrible sins; there is not one of them who does what is good/right.

2 ख़ुदा ने आसमान पर से बनी आदम पर निगाह की ताकि देखे कि कोई दानिशमंद, कोई ख़ुदा का तालिब है या नहीं।

God looks down from heaven and sees humans; he looks to see if anyone is [very] wise, with the result that he seeks [to know] God.

3 वह सब के सब फिर गए हैं, वह एक साथ नापाक हो गए; कोई नेकोकार नहीं, एक भी नहीं।

[But] they are all morally corrupt; no one does what is good/right.

4 क्या उन सब बदकिरदारों को कुछ 'इल्म नहीं, जो मेरे लोगों को ऐसे खाते हैं जैसे रोटी, और ख़ुदा का नाम नहीं लेते?

Will all these evil people never learn [what God will do to them]? They act violently toward Yahweh’s people while eating the food that he provides, and they never pray to Yahweh.

5 वहाँ उन पर बड़ा ख़ौफ़ छा गया जबकि ख़ौफ़ की कोई बात न थी। क्यूँकि ख़ुदा ने उनकी हड्डियाँ जो तेरे ख़िलाफ़ खै़माज़न थे, बिखेर दीं। तूने उनको शर्मिन्दा कर दिया, इसलिए कि ख़ुदा ने उनको रद्द कर दिया है।

But [some day] those people will become terrified, like they have never been terrified before, because God will cause those who are separated from him to die, and he will [disrespect them by] scattering their bones. They have rejected God, so he will cause them to be [defeated and] completely disgraced.

6 काश कि इस्राईल की नजात सिय्यून में से होती! जब ख़ुदा अपने लोगों को ग़ुलामी से लौटा लाएगा; तो या'कू़ब ख़ुश और इस्राईल शादमान होगा।

I wish/desire that someone from Jerusalem [MTY] would come and rescue the Israeli [people]! God, when you bless your people again, [all] the Israeli [people, all the descendants of] Jacob, will rejoice.
