ज़बूर 47
1 ऐ सब उम्मतों, तालियाँ बजाओ! ख़ुदा के लिए ख़ुशी की आवाज़ से ललकारो!
You people all [over the world], clap your hands for joy! Shout joyfully to [praise] God!
2 क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द ता'ला बड़ा है, वह पूरी ज़मीन का शहंशाह है।
Yahweh, who is much greater than any other god, is awesome; he is the king who rules over all the world!
3 वह उम्मतों को हमारे सामने पस्त करेगा, और क़ौमें हमारे क़दमों तले हो जायेंगी।
He enabled us to defeat [the armies of] the people-groups [that lived in Canaan].
4 वह हमारे लिए हमारी मीरास को चुनेगा, जो उसके महबूब या'क़ूब की हश्मत है। (सिलाह)
He chose for us this land where we now live; we Israeli people [MTY], whom he loves, are proud that we own this land.
5 ख़ुदा ने बुलन्द आवाज़ के साथ, ख़ुदावन्द ने नरसिंगे की आवाज़ के साथ सु'ऊद फ़रमाया।
God has gone up [into his temple]. The people shouted joyfully and blew trumpets as Yahweh went up.
6 मदहसराई करो, ख़ुदा की मदहसराई करो! मदहसराई करो, हमारे बादशाह की मदहसराई करो!
Sing songs to praise our God! Sing to praise him [DOU]! Sing to God, our king!
7 क्यूँकि ख़ुदा सारी ज़मीन का बादशाह है; 'अक़्ल से मदहसराई करो।
God is the one who rules over everything in the world; sing a psalm to him!
8 ख़ुदा क़ौमों पर सल्तनत करता है; ख़ुदा अपने पाक तख़्त पर बैठा है।
God sits on his sacred throne as he rules over the people of [all] ethnic groups.
9 उम्मतों के सरदार इकट्ठे हुए हैं, ताकि अब्रहाम के ख़ुदा की उम्मत बन जाएँ; क्यूँकि ज़मीन की ढालें ख़ुदा की हैं, वह बहुत बुलन्द है।
The rulers of those people-groups gather as God’s people, the people [descended] from Abraham, [do]. But God has more power than the weapons/shields [of all the kings] on the earth; (he is greatly honored/people honor him) everywhere.
