ज़बूर 2
1 क़ौमें किस लिए ग़ुस्से में है और लोग क्यूँ बेकार ख़याल बाँधते हैं
Why are the nations plotting rebellion? The peoples devise schemes, but they're pointless.
2 ख़ुदावन्द और उसके मसीह के ख़िलाफ़ ज़मीन के बादशाह एक हो कर, और हाकिम आपस में मशवरा करके कहते हैं,
The kings of the world prepare to attack, and the rulers conspire together against the Lord and his anointed one, saying,
3 “आओ, हम उनके बन्धन तोड़ डालें, और उनकी रस्सियाँ अपने ऊपर से उतार फेंके।”
“Let's break the chains and throw away the cords that bind us.”
4 वह जो आसमान पर तख़्त नशीन है हँसेगा, ख़ुदावन्द उनका मज़ाक़ उड़ाएगा।
But the one who sits enthroned in heaven laughs. The Lord mocks them.
5 तब वह अपने ग़ज़ब में उनसे कलाम करेगा, और अपने ग़ज़बनाक ग़ुस्से में उनको परेशान कर देगा,
He will thunder at them, and terrify them in his fury, saying,
6 “मैं तो अपने बादशाह को, अपने पाक पहाड़ सिय्यून पर बिठा चुका हूँ।”
“It is I who placed my king on Zion, my holy mountain.”
7 मैं उस फ़रमान को बयान करूँगा: ख़ुदावन्द ने मुझ से कहा, “तू मेरा बेटा है। आज तू मुझ से पैदा हुआ।
“I will proclaim the Lord's decree,” says the king. “He told me, ‘You are my son. Today I have become your father.
8 मुझ से माँग, और मैं क़ौमों को तेरी मीरास के लिए, और ज़मीन के आख़िरी हिस्से तेरी मिल्कियत के लिए तुझे बख़्शूँगा।
Ask me, and I will give you the nations as your possessions—the whole earth will belong to you.
9 तू उनको लोहे के 'असा से तोड़ेगा, कुम्हार के बर्तन की तरह तू उनको चकनाचूर कर डालेगा।”
You will break them with a rod of iron, smashing them like pottery.’”
10 इसलिए अब ऐ बादशाहो, अक़्लमंद बनो; ऐ ज़मीन की 'अदालत करने वालो, तरबियत पाओ।
So then you kings, be wise! Be warned, you rulers of the world!
11 डरते हुए ख़ुदावन्द की इबादत करो, काँपते हुए ख़ुशी मनाओ।
Serve the Lord in reverence, celebrate with trembling!
12 बेटे को चूमो, ऐसा न हो कि वह क़हर में आए, और तुम रास्ते में हलाक हो जाओ, क्यूँकि उसका ग़ज़ब जल्द भड़कने को है। मुबारक हैं वह सब जिनका भरोसा उस पर है।
Submit to his son so that he will not become angry and you die suddenly. His anger flares up quickly, but how happy are all those who go to him for protection.
