ज़बूर 16
1 ऐ ख़ुदा मेरी हिफ़ाज़त कर, क्यूँकि मैं तुझ ही में पनाह लेता हूँ।
A MIKTAM OF DAVID. Preserve me, O God, for I trusted in You.
2 मैंने ख़ुदावन्द से कहा “तू ही रब है तेरे अलावा मेरी भलाई नहीं।”
You have said to YHWH, “You [are] my Lord”; My goodness [is] not above You;
3 ज़मीन के पाक लोग वह बरगुज़ीदा हैं, जिनमें मेरी पूरी ख़ुशनूदी है।
For the holy ones who [are] in the land, And the honorable, all my delight [is] in them.
4 गै़र मा'बूदों के पीछे दौड़ने वालों का ग़म बढ़ जाएगा; मैं उनके से खू़न वाले तपावन नहीं तपाऊँगा और अपने होटों से उनके नाम नहीं लूँगा।
Their griefs are multiplied, [who] have hurried backward; I do not pour out their drink-offerings of blood, Nor do I take up their names on my lips.
5 ख़ुदावन्द ही मेरी मीरास और मेरे प्याले का हिस्सा है; तू मेरे बख़रे का मुहाफ़िज़ है।
YHWH [is] the portion of my share, and of my cup, You uphold my lot.
6 जरीब मेरे लिए दिलपसंद जगहों में पड़ी, बल्कि मेरी मीरास खू़ब है।
Lines have fallen to me in pleasant places, Indeed, a beautiful inheritance [is] for me.
7 मैं ख़ुदावन्द की हम्द करूँगा, जिसने, मुझे नसीहत दी है; बल्कि मेरा दिल रात को मेरी तरबियत करता है
I bless YHWH who has counseled me; Also [in] the nights my reins instruct me.
8 मैंने ख़ुदावन्द को हमेशा अपने सामने रख्खा है; चूँकि वह मेरे दहने हाथ है, इसलिए मुझे जुम्बिश न होगी।
I placed YHWH before me continually, Because [He is] at my right hand I am not moved.
9 इसी वजह से मेरा दिल खु़श और मेरी रूह शादमान है; मेरा जिस्म भी अम्न — ओ — अमान में रहेगा।
Therefore my heart has been glad, And my glory rejoices, Also my flesh dwells confidently:
For You do not leave my soul to Sheol, Nor give your Holy One to see corruption. (Sheol h7585)
11 तू मुझे ज़िन्दगी की राह दिखाएगा; तेरे हुज़ूरमें कामिल शादमानी है। तेरे दहने हाथ में हमेशा की खु़शी है।
You cause me to know the path of life; In Your presence [is] fullness of joys, Pleasant things [are] by Your right hand forever!
