1 ख़ुदावन्द की हम्द करो। ख़ुदावन्द के सामने नया हम्द गाओ, और पाक लोगों के मजमे' में उसकी मदहसराई करो!

Alleluya. Synge ye to the Lord a newe song; hise heriyng be in the chirche of seyntis.

2 इस्राईल अपने ख़ालिक में ख़ुश रहे, फ़र्ज़न्दान — ए — सिय्यून अपने बादशाह की वजह से ख़ुश हों!

Israel be glad in hym that made hym; and the douytris of Syon make ful out ioye in her king.

3 वह नाचते हुए उसके नाम की सिताइश करें, वह दफ़ और सितार पर उसकी मदहसराई करें!

Herie thei his name in a queer; seie thei salm to hym in a tympan, and sautre.

4 क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द अपने लोगों से खू़शनूद रहता है; वह हलीमों को नजात से ज़ीनत बख़्शेगा।

For the Lord is wel plesid in his puple; and he hath reisid mylde men in to heelthe.

5 पाक लोग जलाल पर फ़ख़्र करें, वह अपने बिस्तरों पर ख़ुशी से नग़मा सराई करें।

Seyntis schulen make ful out ioye in glorie; thei schulen be glad in her beddis.

6 उनके मुँह में ख़ुदा की तम्जीद, और हाथ में दोधारी तलवार हो,

The ful out ioiyngis of God in the throte of hem; and swerdis scharp on `ech side in the hondis of hem.

7 ताकि क़ौमों से इन्तक़ाम लें, और उम्मतों को सज़ा दें:

To do veniaunce in naciouns; blamyngis in puplis.

8 उनके बादशाहों को ज़ंजीरों से जकड़ें, और उनके सरदारों को लोहे की बेड़ियाँ पहनाएं।

To bynde the kyngis of hem in stockis; and the noble men of hem in yrun manaclis.

9 ताकि उनको वह सज़ा दें जो लिखी हैं! उसके सब पाक लोगों को यह मक़ाम हासिल है। ख़ुदावन्द की हम्द करो!
