< ज़बूर 135 >

1 ख़ुदावन्द की हम्द करो! ख़ुदावन्द के नाम की हम्द करो! ऐ ख़ुदावन्द के बन्दो! उसकी हम्द करो।
Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise [him], O ye servants of the LORD.
2 तुम जो ख़ुदावन्द के घर में, हमारे ख़ुदा के घर की बारगाहों में खड़े रहते हो!
Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,
3 ख़ुदावन्द की हम्द करो, क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द भला है; उसके नाम की मदहसराई करो कि यह दिल पसंद है!
Praise the LORD; for the LORD [is] good: sing praises unto his name; for [it is] pleasant.
4 क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द ने या'क़ूब को अपने लिए, और इस्राईल को अपनी ख़ास मिल्कियत के लिए चुन लिया है।
For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, [and] Israel for his peculiar treasure.
5 इसलिए कि मैं जानता हूँ कि ख़ुदावन्द बुजुर्ग़ है और हमारा रब्ब सब मा'बूदों से बालातर है।
For I know that the LORD [is] great, and [that] our Lord [is] above all gods.
6 आसमान और ज़मीन में, समन्दर और गहराओ में; ख़ुदावन्द ने जो कुछ चाहा वही किया।
Whatsoever the LORD pleased, [that] did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
7 वह ज़मीन की इन्तिहा से बुख़ारात उठाता है, वह बारिश के लिए बिजलियाँ बनाता है, और अपने मख़ज़नों से आँधी निकालता है।
He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.
8 उसी ने मिस्र के पहलौठों को मारा, क्या इंसान के क्या हैवान के।
Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
9 ऐ मिस्र, उसी ने तुझ में फ़िर'औन और उसके सब ख़ादिमो पर, निशान और 'अजायब ज़ाहिर किए।
[Who] sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
10 उसने बहुत सी क़ौमों को मारा, और ज़बरदस्त बादशाहों को क़त्ल किया।
Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;
11 अमोरियों के बादशाह सीहोन को, और बसन के बादशाह 'ओज को, और कनान की सब मम्लुकतों को;
Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
12 और उनकी ज़मीन मीरास कर दी, या'नी अपनी क़ौम इस्राईल की मीरास।
And gave their land [for] an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.
13 ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! तेरा नाम हमेशा का है, और तेरी यादगार, ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, नसल दर नसल क़ाईम है।
Thy name, O LORD, [endureth] for ever; [and] thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.
14 क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द अपनी क़ौम की 'अदालत करेगा, और अपने बन्दों पर तरस खाएगा।
For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.
15 क़ौमों के बुत चाँदी और सोना हैं, या'नी आदमी की दस्तकारी।
The idols of the heathen [are] silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
16 उनके मुँह हैं, लेकिन वह बोलते नहीं; आँखें हैं लेकिन वह देखते नहीं।
They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
17 उनके कान हैं, लेकिन वह सुनते नहीं; और उनके मुँह में साँस नहीं।
They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there [any] breath in their mouths.
18 उनके बनाने वाले उन ही की तरह हो जाएँगे; बल्कि वह सब जो उन पर भरोसा रखते हैं।
They that make them are like unto them: [so is] every one that trusteth in them.
19 ऐ इस्राईल के घराने! ख़ुदावन्द को मुबारक कहो! ऐ हारून के घराने! ख़ुदावन्द को मुबारक कहो।
Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:
20 ऐ लावी के घराने! ख़ुदावन्द को मुबारक कहो! ऐ ख़ुदावन्द से डरने वालो! ख़ुदावन्द को मुबारक कहो!
Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.
21 सिय्यून में ख़ुदावन्द मुबारक हो! वह येरूशलेम में सुकूनत करता है ख़ुदावन्द की हम्द करो।
Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
