ज़बूर 132
1 ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! दाऊद कि ख़ातिर उसकी सब मुसीबतों को याद कर;
A Song of Ascents. Remember, O Yahweh, unto David, all his humiliations!
2 कि उसने किस तरह ख़ुदावन्द से क़सम खाई, और या'क़ूब के क़ादिर के सामने मन्नत मानी,
What he Sware to Yahweh, —Vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
3 “यक़ीनन मैं न अपने घर में दाख़िल हूँगा, न अपने पलंग पर जाऊँगा;
Surely I will not enter the home of my own house, nor ascend my curtained couch;
4 और न अपनी आँखों में नींद, न अपनी पलकों में झपकी आने दूँगा;
I will not give sleep to mine eyes, nor, to mine eye-lashes, slumber:
5 जब तक ख़ुदावन्द के लिए कोई जगह, और या'क़ूब के क़ादिर के लिए घर न हो।”
Until I find a place for Yahweh, habitations for the Mighty One of Jacob.
6 देखो, हम ने उसकी ख़बर इफ़्राता में सुनी; हमें यह जंगल के मैदान में मिली।
Lo! we heard of it at Ephrathah, we found it in the fields of the wood.
7 हम उसके घरों में दाखि़ल होंगे, हम उसके पाँव की चौकी के सामने सिजदा करेंगे!
We would enter his habitations, we would bow down at his footstool.
8 उठ, ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! अपनी आरामगाह में दाखि़ल हो! तू और तेरी कु़दरत का संदूक़।
Arise! O Yahweh, unto thy place of rest, Thou, and the ark of thy strength.
9 तेरे काहिन सदाक़त से मुलब्बस हों, और तेरे पाक ख़ुशी के नारे मारें।
Thy priests, let them be clothed with righteousness, Thy men of lovingkindness, let them shout for joy!
10 अपने बन्दे दाऊद की ख़ातिर, अपने मम्सूह की दुआ ना — मन्जूर न कर।
For the sake of David thy servant, do not turn away the face of thine Anointed One.
11 ख़ुदावन्द ने सच्चाई के साथ दाऊद से क़सम खाई है; वह उससे फिरने का नहीं: कि “मैं तेरी औलाद में से किसी को तेरे तख़्त पर बिठाऊँगा।
Yahweh hath sworn unto David, in faithfulness, will he not turn from it, —Of the fruit of thy body, will I seat on thy throne.
12 अगर तेरे फ़र्ज़न्द मेरे 'अहद और मेरी शहादत पर, जो मैं उनको सिखाऊँगा 'अमल करें; तो उनके फ़र्ज़न्द भी हमेशा तेरे तख़्त पर बैठेगें।”
If thy sons keep my covenant, and my testimony which I will teach them, even their sons, unto futurity, shall sit on thy throne.
13 क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द ने सिय्यून को चुना है, उसने उसे अपने घर के लिए पसन्द किया है:
For Yahweh hath chosen Zion, —He hath desired it as a dwelling for himself:
14 “यह हमेशा के लिए मेरी आरामगाह है; मै यहीं रहूँगा क्यूँकि मैंने इसे पसंद किया है।
This, is my place of rest unto futurity, Here, will I dwell, for I have desired it;
15 मैं इसके रिज़क़ में ख़ूब बरकत दूँगा; मैं इसके ग़रीबों को रोटी से सेर करूँगा
Her provision, will I abundantly bless, Her needy ones, will I satisfy with bread;
16 इसके काहिनों को भी मैं नजात से मुलव्वस करूँगा और उसके पाक बुलन्द आवाज़ से ख़ुशी के नारे मारेंगे।
And, her priests, will I clothe with salvation, and, her men of lovingkindness, shall, shout aloud, for joy;
17 वहीं मैं दाऊद के लिए एक सींग निकालूँगा मैंने अपने मम्सूह के लिए चराग़ तैयार किया है।
There, will I cause to bud a horn to David, I have prepared a lamp for mine Anointed One;
18 मैं उसके दुश्मनों को शर्मिन्दगी का लिबास पहनाऊँगा, लेकिन उस पर उसी का ताज रोनक अफ़रोज़ होगा।”
His enemies, will I clothe with shame, but, upon himself, shall his crown be resplendent.
