ज़बूर 122

1 मैं ख़ुश हुआ जब वह मुझ से कहने लगे “आओ ख़ुदावन्द के घर चलें।”

A Song of degrees of David. I was glad when they said to me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

2 ऐ येरूशलेम! हमारे क़दम, तेरे फाटकों के अन्दर हैं।

Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

3 ऐ येरूशलेम तू ऐसे शहर के तरह है जो गुनजान बना हो।

Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together:

4 जहाँ क़बीले या'नी ख़ुदावन्द के क़बीले, इस्राईल की शहादत के लिए, ख़ुदावन्द के नाम का शुक्र करने को जातें हैं।

Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, to the testimony of Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD.

5 क्यूँकि वहाँ 'अदालत के तख़्त, या'नी दाऊद के ख़ान्दान के तख़्त क़ाईम हैं।

For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

6 येरूशलेम की सलामती की दुआ करो, वह जो तुझ से मुहब्बत रखते हैं इकबालमंद होंगे।

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

7 तेरी फ़सील के अन्दर सलामती, और तेरे महलों में इकबालमंदी हो।

Peace be within thy walls, [and] prosperity within thy palaces.

8 मैं अपने भाइयों और दोस्तों की ख़ातिर, अब कहूँगा तुझ में सलामती रहे!

For my brethren and companions' sake, I will now say, Peace [be] within thee.

9 ख़ुदावन्द अपने ख़ुदा के घर की ख़ातिर, मैं तेरी भलाई का तालिब रहूँगा।

Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
