ज़बूर 12

1 ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! बचा ले क्यूँकि कोई दीनदार नहीं रहा और अमानत दार लोग बनी आदम में से मिट गये।

To the victorie on the eiyte, the song of Dauid. Lord, make thou me saaf, for the hooli failide; for treuthis ben maad litle fro the sones of men.

2 वह अपने अपने पड़ोसी से झूठ बोलते हैं वह ख़ुशामदी लबों से दो रंगी बातें करते हैं

Thei spaken veyn thingis, ech man to hys neiybore; thei han gileful lippis, thei spaken in herte and herte.

3 ख़ुदावन्द सब ख़ुशामदी लबों को और बड़े बोल बोलने वाली ज़बान को काट डालेगा।

The Lord destrie alle gileful lippis; and the greet spekynge tunge.

4 वह कहते हैं, “हम अपनी ज़बान से जीतेंगे, हमारे होंट हमारे ही हैं; हमारा मालिक कौन है?”

Whiche seiden, We schulen magnyfie oure tunge, our lippis ben of vs; who is oure lord?

5 ग़रीबों की तबाही और ग़रीबों कीआह की वजह से, ख़ुदावन्द फ़रमाता है, कि अब मैं उठूँगा और जिस पर वह फुंकारते हैं उसे अम्न — ओ — अमान में रख्खूँगा।

For the wretchednesse of nedy men, and for the weilyng of pore men; now Y schal ryse vp, seith the Lord. I schal sette inhelt he; Y schal do tristili in hym.

6 ख़ुदावन्द का कलाम पाक है, उस चाँदी की तरह जो भट्टी में मिट्टी पर ताई गई, और सात बार साफ़ की गई हो।

7 तू ही ऐ ख़ुदावन्द उनकी हिफ़ाज़त करेगा, तू ही उनको इस नसल से हमेशा तक बचाए रखेगा।

Thou, Lord, schalt kepe vs; and thou `schalt kepe vs fro this generacioun with outen ende.

8 जब बनी आदम में पाजीपन की क़द्र होती है, तो शरीर हर तरफ़ चलते फिरते हैं।

Wickid men goen in cumpas; bi thin hiynesse thou hast multiplied the sones of men.
