1 मैं ख़ुदावन्द से मुहब्बत रखता हूँ क्यूँकि उसने मेरी फ़रियाद और मिन्नत सुनी है
I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
2 चुँकि उसने मेरी तरफ़ कान लगाया, इसलिए मैं उम्र भर उससे दू'आ करूँगा
Because he hath inclined his ear to me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
3 मौत की रस्सियों ने मुझे जकड़ लिया, और पाताल के दर्द मुझ पर आ पड़े; मैं दुख और ग़म में गिरफ़्तार हुआ। (Sheol h7585)
The sorrows of death surrounded me, and the pains of hell came upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. (Sheol h7585)
4 तब मैंने ख़ुदावन्द से दुआ की, ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, मैं तेरी मिन्नत करता हूँ मेरी जान की रिहाई बख्श!
Then I called upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
5 ख़ुदावन्द सादिक़ और करीम है; हमारा ख़ुदा रहीम है।
Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
6 ख़ुदावन्द सादा लोगों की हिफ़ाज़त करता है; मैं पस्त हो गया था, उसी ने मुझे बचा लिया।
The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
7 ऐ मेरी जान, फिर मुत्मइन हो; क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द ने तुझ पर एहसान किया है।
Return to thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8 इसलिए के तूने मेरी जान को मौत से, मेरी आँखों को आँसू बहाने से, और मेरे पाँव को फिसलने से बचाया है।
For thou hast delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
9 मैं ज़िन्दों की ज़मीन में, ख़ुदावन्द के सामने चलता रहूँगा।
I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
10 मैं ईमान रखता हूँ इसलिए यह कहूँगा, मैं बड़ी मुसीबत में था।
I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
11 मैंने जल्दबाज़ी से कह दिया, कि “सब आदमी झूटे हैं।”
I said in my haste, All men are liars.
12 ख़ुदावन्द की सब ने'मतें जो मुझे मिलीं, मैं उनके बदले में उसे क्या दूँ?
What shall I render to the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
13 मैं नजात का प्याला उठाकर, ख़ुदावन्द से दुआ करूँगा।
I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
14 मैं ख़ुदावन्द के सामने अपनी मन्नतें, उसकी सारी क़ौम के सामने पूरी करूँगा।
I will pay my vows to the LORD now in the presence of all his people.
15 ख़ुदावन्द की निगाह में, उसके पाक लोगों की मौत गिरा क़द्र है।
Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
16 आह! ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, मैं तेरा बन्दा हूँ। मैं तेरा बन्दा, तेरी लौंडी का बेटा हूँ। तूने मेरे बन्धन खोले हैं।
O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
17 मैं तेरे सामने शुक्रगुज़ारी की कु़र्बानी पेश करूँगा और ख़ुदावन्द से दुआ करूँगा।
I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
18 मैं ख़ुदावन्द के सामने अपनी मन्नतें, उसकी सारी क़ौम के सामने पूरी करूँगा।
I will pay my vows to the LORD now in the presence of all his people,
19 ख़ुदावन्द के घर की बारगाहों में, तेरे अन्दर ऐ येरूशलेम! ख़ुदावन्द की हम्द करो।
In the courts of the LORD’S house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
