ज़बूर 111

1 ख़ुदावन्द की हम्द करो! मैं रास्तबाज़ों की मजलिस में और जमा'अत में, अपने सारे दिल से ख़ुदावन्द का शुक्र करूँगा।

Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with [my] whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and [in] the congregation.

2 ख़ुदावन्द के काम 'अज़ीम हैं, जो उनमें मसरूर हैं उनकी तलाश। में रहते हैं।

The works of the LORD [are] great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

3 उसके काम जलाली और पुर हश्मत हैं, और उसकी सदाकत हमेशा तक क़ाईम है।

His work [is] honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 उसने अपने 'अजायब की यादगार क़ाईम की है; ख़ुदावन्द रहीम — ओ — करीम है।

He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD [is] gracious and full of compassion.

5 वह उनको जो उससे डरते हैं खू़राक देता है; वह अपने 'अहद को हमेशा याद रख्खेगा।

He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

6 उसने कौमों की मीरास अपने लोगों को देकर, अपने कामों का ज़ोर उनकी दिखाया।

He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

7 उसके हाथों के काम बरहक़ और इन्साफ भरे हैं; उसके तमाम क़वानीन रास्त है,

The works of his hands [are] verity and judgment; all his commandments [are] sure.

8 वह हमेशा से हमेशा तक क़ाईम रहेंगे, वह सच्चाई और रास्ती से बनाए गए हैं।

They stand fast for ever and ever, [and are] done in truth and uprightness.

9 उसने अपने लोगों के लिए फ़िदिया दिया; उसने अपना 'अहद हमेशा के लिए ठहराया है। उसका नाम पाक और बड़ा है।

He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend [is] his name.

10 ख़ुदावन्द का ख़ौफ़ समझ का शुरू' है; उसके मुताबिक 'अमल करने वाले अक़्लमंद हैं। उसकी सिताइश हमेशा तक क़ाईम है।

The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments: ] his praise endureth for ever.
