ज़बूर 103
1 ऐ मेरी जान! ख़ुदावन्द को मुबारक़ कह; और जो कुछ मुझमें है उसके पाक नाम को मुबारक़ कहें
[A Psalm] of David. Bless Jehovah, O my soul; and all that is within me, [bless] his holy name!
2 ऐ मेरी जान! ख़ुदावन्द को मुबारक़ कह और उसकी किसी ने'मत को फ़रामोश न कर।
Bless Jehovah, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 वह तेरी सारी बदकारी को बख़्शता है वह तुझे तमाम बीमारियों से शिफ़ा देता है
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities, who healeth all thy diseases;
4 वह तेरी जान हलाकत से बचाता है, वह तेरे सर पर शफ़क़त व रहमत का ताज रखता है।
Who redeemeth thy life from the pit, who crowneth thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies;
5 वह तुझे उम्र भर अच्छी अच्छी चीज़ों से आसूदा करता है, तू 'उक़ाब की तरह नए सिरे नौजवान होता है।
Who satisfieth thine old age with good [things]; thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6 ख़ुदावन्द सब मज़लूमों के लिए सदाक़त और अदल के काम करता है।
Jehovah executeth righteousness and justice for all that are oppressed.
7 उसने अपनी राहें मूसा पर और अपने काम बनी इस्राईल पर ज़ाहीर किए।
He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
8 ख़ुदावन्द रहीम व करीम है, क़हर करने में धीमा और शफ़क़त में गनी।
Jehovah is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving-kindness.
9 वह सदा झिड़कता न रहेगा वह हमेशा ग़ज़बनाक न रहेगा।
He will not always chide, neither will he keep [his anger] for ever.
10 उस ने हमारे गुनाहों के मुवाफ़िक़ हम से सुलूक नहीं किया और हमारी बदकारियों के मुताबिक़ हमको बदला नहीं दिया।
He hath not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 क्यूँकि जिस क़द्र आसमान ज़मीन से बुलन्द, उसी क़द्र उसकी शफ़क़त उन पर है, जो उससे डरते हैं।
For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving-kindness toward them that fear him.
12 जैसे पूरब पच्छिम से दूर है, वैसे ही उसने हमारी ख़ताएँ हम सेदूर कर दीं।
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
13 जैसे बाप अपने बेटों पर तरस खाता है, वैसे ही ख़ुदावन्द उन पर जो उससे डरते हैं, तरस खाता है।
As a father pitieth [his] children, so Jehovah pitieth them that fear him.
14 क्यूँकि वह हमारी सरिश्त से वाक़िफ़ है, उसे याद है कि हम ख़ाक हैं।
For himself knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
15 इंसान की उम्र तो घास की तरह है, वह जंगली फूल की तरह खिलता है,
As for man, his days are as grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth:
16 कि हवा उस पर चली और वह नहीं, और उसकी जगह उसे फिर न देखेगी
For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone, and the place thereof knoweth it no more.
17 लेकिन ख़ुदावन्द की शफ़क़त उससे डरने वालों पर अज़ल से हमेशा तक, और उसकी सदाक़त नसल — दर — नसल है
But the loving-kindness of Jehovah is from everlasting and to everlasting, upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children,
18 या'नी उन पर जो उसके 'अहद पर क़ाईम रहते हैं, और उसके क़वानीन पर 'अमल करनायाद रखते हैं।
To such as keep his covenant and to those that remember his precepts to do them.
19 ख़ुदावन्द ने अपना तख़्त आसमान पर क़ाईम किया है, और उसकी सल्तनत सब पर मुसल्लत है।
Jehovah hath established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom ruleth over all.
20 ऐ ख़ुदावन्द के फ़िरिश्तो, उसको मुबारक कहो, तुम जो ज़ोर में बढ़ कर हो और उसके कलाम की आवाज़ सुन कर उस पर 'अमल करते हो।
Bless Jehovah, ye his angels, mighty in strength, that execute his word, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
21 ऐ ख़ुदावन्द के लश्करो, सब उसको मुबारक कहो! तुम जो उसके ख़ादिम हो और उसकी मर्ज़ी बजा लाते हो।
Bless Jehovah, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his that do his will.
22 ऐ ख़ुदावन्द की मख़लूक़ात, सब उसको मुबारक कहो! तुम जो उसके तसल्लुत के सब मकामों में ही। ऐ मेरी जान, तू ख़ुदावन्द को मुबारक कह!
Bless Jehovah, all his works, in all places of his dominion. Bless Jehovah, O my soul!
