ज़बूर 102
1 ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! मेरी दुआ सुन और मेरी फ़रियाद तेरे सामने पहुँचे।
A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before Jehovah. Jehovah, hear my prayer, and let my cry come unto thee.
2 मेरी मुसीबत के दिन मुझ से चेहरा न छिपा, अपना कान मेरी तरफ़ झुका, जिस दिन मैं फ़रियाद करूँ मुझे जल्द जवाब दे।
Hide not thy face from me: in the day of my trouble, incline thine ear unto me; in the day I call, answer me speedily.
3 क्यूँकि मेरे दिन धुएँ की तरह उड़े जाते हैं, और मेरी हड्डियाँ ईधन की तरह जल गई।
For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as a firebrand.
4 मेरा दिल घास की तरह झुलस कर सूख गया; क्यूँकि मैं अपनी रोटी खाना भूल जाता हूँ।
My heart is smitten and withered like grass; yea, I have forgotten to eat my bread.
5 कराहते कराहते मेरी हड्डियाँ मेरे गोश्त से जा लगीं।
By reason of the voice of my groaning, my bones cleave to my flesh.
6 मैं जंगली हवासिल की तरह हूँ, मैं वीराने का उल्लू बन गया।
I am become like the pelican of the wilderness, I am as an owl in desolate places;
7 मैं बेख़्वाब और उस गौरे की तरह हो गया हूँ, जो छत पर अकेला हो।
I watch, and am like a sparrow alone upon the housetop.
8 मेरे दुश्मन मुझे दिन भर मलामत करते हैं; मेरे मुख़ालिफ़ दीवाना होकर मुझ पर ला'नत करते हैं।
Mine enemies reproach me all the day; they that are mad against me swear by me.
9 क्यूँकि मैंने रोटी की तरह राख खाई, और आँसू मिलाकर पानी पिया।
For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,
10 यह तेरे ग़ज़ब और क़हर की वजह से है, क्यूँकि तूने मुझे उठाया और फिर पटक दिया।
Because of thine indignation and thy wrath; for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.
11 मेरे दिन ढलने वाले साये की तरह हैं, और मैं घास की तरह मुरझा गया
My days are like a lengthened-out shadow, and I, I am withered like grass.
12 लेकिन तू ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, हमेशा तक रहेगा; और तेरी यादगार नसल — दर — नसल रहेगी।
But thou, Jehovah, abidest for ever, and thy memorial from generation to generation.
13 तू उठेगा और सिय्यून पर रहम करेगाः क्यूँकि उस पर तरस खाने का वक़्त है, हाँ उसका मु'अय्यन वक़्त आ गया है।
Thou wilt rise up, thou wilt have mercy upon Zion: for it is the time to be gracious to her, for the set time is come.
14 इसलिए कि तेरे बन्दे उसके पत्थरों को चाहते, और उसकी ख़ाक पर तरस खाते हैं।
For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour her dust.
15 और क़ौमों को ख़ुदावन्द के नाम का, और ज़मीन के सब बादशाहों को तेरे जलाल का ख़ौफ़ होगा।
And the nations shall fear the name of Jehovah, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.
16 क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द ने सिय्यून को बनाया है; वह अपने जलाल में ज़ाहिर हुआ है।
When Jehovah shall build up Zion, he will appear in his glory.
17 उसने बेकसों की दुआ पर तवज्जुह की, और उनकी दुआ को हक़ीर न जाना।
He will regard the prayer of the destitute one, and not despise their prayer.
18 यह आने वाली नसल के लिए लिखा जाएगा, और एक क़ौम पैदा होगी जो ख़ुदावन्द की सिताइश करेगी।
This shall be written for the generation to come; and a people that shall be created shall praise Jah:
19 क्यूँकि उसने अपने हैकल की बुलन्दी पर से निगाह की, ख़ुदावन्द ने आसमान पर से ज़मीन पर नज़र की;
For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from the heavens hath Jehovah beheld the earth,
20 ताकि ग़ुलाम का कराहना सुने, और मरने वालों को छुड़ा ले;
To hear the groaning of the prisoner, to loose those that are appointed to die;
21 ताकि लोग सिय्यून में ख़ुदावन्द के नाम का इज़हार, और येरूशलेम में उसकी ता'रीफ़ करें,
That the name of Jehovah may be declared in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem,
22 जब ख़ुदावन्द की इबादत के लिए, हों।
When the peoples shall be gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve Jehovah.
23 उसने राह में मेरा ज़ोर घटा दिया, उसने मेरी उम्र कोताह कर दी।
He weakened my strength in the way, he shortened my days.
24 मैंने कहा, ऐ मेरे ख़ुदा, मुझे आधी उम्र में न उठा, तेरे बरस नसल दर नसल हैं।
I said, My God, take me not away in the midst of my days! ...Thy years are from generation to generation.
25 तूने इब्तिदा से ज़मीन की बुनियाद डाली; आसमान तेरे हाथ की कारीगरी है।
Of old hast thou founded the earth, and the heavens are the work of thy hands:
26 वह हलाक हो जाएँगे, लेकिन तू बाक़ी रहेगा; बल्कि वह सब पोशाक की तरह पुराने हो जाएँगे। तू उनको लिबास की तरह बदलेगा, और वह बदल जाएँगे;
They shall perish, but thou continuest; and all of them shall grow old as a garment: as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed.
27 लेकिन तू बदलने वाला नहीं है, और तेरे बरस बेइन्तिहा होंगे।
But thou art the Same, and thy years shall have no end.
28 तेरे बन्दों के फ़र्ज़न्द बरकरार रहेंगे; और उनकी नसल तेरे सामने क़ाईम रहेगी।
The children of thy servants shall abide, and their seed shall be established before thee.
